Lower Manor Farm
Welcome to Lower Manor Farm, set within the pretty village of Ringmore and with the picturesque National Trust footpath right on your doorstep (literally), the stunning Ayrmer Cove is just a stroll away. You will find this beautiful house nestled in a wooded valley, offering the most magnificent views and surrounded by numerous sandy beaches. Lower Manor Farm is a gorgeous retreat, ideal for families or a group of friends looking for a Devonshire getaway.
From the moment you arrive you will be captivated by your delightful surroundings. The sitting-room is elegantly furnished with comfy sofas and a fabulous traditional open fire, ideal for cosying up in winter months in front of the Smart TV and Sky. A step takes you into the welcoming snug, which also has a Smart TV, so no squabbling over movie choices here! A separate dining-room leads off the snug where you can gather everyone around the farmhouse table to chat about the adventures of the day, or perhaps play a board game or two! The galley style kitchen has all you need to cook a holiday meal and a cute bistro table and chairs are the perfect spot to sit and chat with the chef. A separate utility-room is home to the tumble-drier, a second fridge and a WC.
Climb the spiral staircase (please take care here) to the first floor and you will find three beautifully furnished bedrooms. Bedroom one has a king-size bed for a restful sleep and lovely characterful furniture including a gorgeous window seat, perfect for a quiet read. The en suite to bedroom one has a bath and rainfall shower so you can choose to enjoy a long soak after a busy day or a refreshing shower. Inviting bedroom two has a king-size bed and is beautifully decorated in neutral pastel shades whilst bedroom three has characterful exposed beams and twin beds, ideal for either children or adults. There's also a family shower-room on the first floor.
Up a further set of spiral stairs you will find the second floor where there are two more bedrooms. Bedroom four is a lovely double-bedded room with exposed beams. Bedroom five is a twin-bedded room and can also be accessed via a separate staircase from the first floor, an ideal set up for multi-generational families. These two bedrooms share the family bathroom on the second floor, with a bath, shower attachment and WC.
Outside, Lower Manor Farm really comes into its own, with gorgeous gardens and a lawn where the children and family dogs can let off steam. Sit on the patio and enjoy al fresco dining whilst relaxing in your peaceful surroundings, sounds like the perfect holiday pastime to us!

Mrs Coomber
Excellent cottage for 10 people, (plus baby,) all very comfortable beds and plenty of room. Lovely location for dogs also, walks from the door to beach.
Mr Russell
We loved the images of Lower Manor Farm and found that what you see IS what you get!
Miss Dwyer
We had a lovely week staying at Lower Manor Farm. The property provides plenty of space for a group for 10 and it is safe and secluded which gave the children in our party the freedom to play outside. It’s worth noting that the garden is much smaller than the pictures show - this wasn’t a huge issue for us as the weather wasn’t amazing! The only downside of the property was the noise people made just walking about on the upstairs floors - there’s no carpets anywhere and very little insulation internally so you could hear every conversation and footstep in the night!! We would consider the property again though as the location is beautiful. The Journey’s End pub is fab and in walking distance which is a huge plus!
Mrs Dixon
A very old cottage which has been well renovated, although still has some low ceilings and doorways. The winding staircases mean less mobile people would probably struggle. It is fairy remote and you need to navigate narrow lanes to get there. It is very peaceful and no light pollution.
Mrs Thompson
Quirky house in beautiful location, but with several drawbacks that make it unsuitable for a party of ten.
Mrs Billington
Lovely warm cosy cottage, fully equipped, great location. Would not hesitate to recommend. Just make sure you book in advance to eat at the excellent local pub the Journeys End Inn.
Ms Norman
A comfortable and well equipped property with a tasteful decor Fabulous location
Mrs Zaccagnini
Beautifully renovated old farmhouse in a wonderfully peaceful and scenic location. Do book in advance for The Journey’s End Inn up the road - the food is delicious.
Mr McAuslan
Amazing location. Great for extended families. One of few properties we would have on our 'must return to' list.
