We had a fantastic week at Dolphin House. We were a party of 10 and had everything we needed for a fantastic holiday! The house was absolutely beautiful, very clean with plenty of room for all of us to relax and literally a stones throw from the beach. I would thoroughly recommend!!

Beautiful spacious property in stunning location. Whole family and dogs had wonderful holiday. Definitely will be going back to Dolphin house.

A very well equipped house only a short walk from the beach. Outside veranda has view of the sea with large table great for family breakfast.

We enjoyed our week at Dolphin House, the house is very spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. The dogs loved playing on the beach which is only a short walk away and going for walks along the coast path. We can recommend fish and chips from Fryer Tuck’s in Chalaborough and a meal out at the Oyster Shack too.

A beautiful property, perfectly suited for larger families and a wonderful location to see the sea with lovely walking paths.

Can’t fault Dolphin House one bit . Beautifully designed and perfect for a family or friends get together . Brilliant position for the beach and great to take the dogs too . Fabulous views . Just loved it !

This is a lovely house just a few minutes walk to the beach. It is the last property down a private drive. We found it very peaceful and comfortable for an early September stay and were lucky to have sunny, dry weather. There's a well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge and large dining area. We had a food delivery to avoid spending time driving back to a supermarket. Eating options in walking distance are the Venus cafe at the beach (closes about 5pm) and the Pilchard Inn a short walk across the Causeway on Burgh Island. The staff at both were friendly and helpful. It was low tide when we visited from about 11am-3pm each day with the Causeway pretty dry and easily crossed, but we watched the sea tractor ferrying people after this. The local beach shop sells beach bits, milk, gifts and sweets, but if you take the public footpath signposted from the top of the drive, it’s about a 20 minute walk along the pavement, then the coast path to Challaborough Bay where there is a convenience store at the caravan park which is good for essentials. Overall, this a great location with everything you need for a quiet relaxing beach holiday.

Dolphin House is exceptional in its position, layout, comfort, spaciousness and every conceivable facility for a dream holiday. Beautifully clean and very well equipped. Near access to the sea has been wonderful. Every possible requirement was available for each member of the family from the youngest, 6 years, through to our eldest, 84years, including near access to the beach. Highly recommended.

We had the most fantastic family holiday staying in Dolphin House. Both the house & location get a 10/10! The house is very close to the beach. Great for lots of family fun! It has a sea view & you can hear the waves from the front balcony where we spent alot of time relaxing & playing games. We enjoyed morning swims & walks on the beach over to Burgh Island. The house itself is very spacious for 10 people. We did not feel on top of each other at all. It is very well equipped, plenty of everything in the kitchen with high quality appliances. Bedrooms nicely decorated & plenty of bathrooms. The lounge is very comfortable & we spent evenings watching TV & relaxing together. The outside shower & utility room came in very handy after trips to the beach. Communication with the owner was also a positive experience. I would highly recommend Dolphin House & keen to return.

We had a enjoyable stay in this lovely house. Great place for a family beach holiday and within easy reach of Dartmouth and Plymouth. The house is beautifully equipped and a lot of thought has gone into the detail.

The location is perfect. The beaches are so so close, are so beautiful, and change throughout the day, so we never got bored. The house is also perfect for a family holiday with everything we needed, and it somehow felt both homely and luxurious. We had a fabulous time!

Tastefully and extensively equipped, this house is in a delightful location overlooking the sea. A perfect choice for a family with school aged children or a group of adults.

Fabulous property. It facilitates all ages so well. Very clean and so well equipped. Location right next to the beach was fantastic and coastal paths were very close too. Would definitely stay again.

This is a spacious and comfortable holiday home which was perfect for our extended family group of 9 adults although there would be enough space for a couple of little ones as well. The beach is just over the road and the kayaks and bodyboards were easy to wheel/carry down. The location is to die for!

Dolphin cottage is in a beautiful location with beautiful views. The house itself is also lovely with many small touches that added to our enjoyment - like the outdoor shower.

Fantastic house in an ideal location. Just a few minutes walk to a fabulous beach. All the grandchildren loved everything: soft Sandy beach, sea, tractor ride to Burgh island, ferry to Bantham, ice cream, trip to Kingsbridge market. What with fabulous weather we couldn’t have had a better holiday.

Exceptional property, location perfect for us. Had a fabulous relaxing week Exceeded expectations. Didn’t want to leave it once we were in there was so comfortable and homely.

Just off the beach at Bigbury and a stone's throw from Burgh Island, which is walkable at low tide, Dolphin House is a very comfortable and well-equipped property. This party of friends felt it was the best one we had stayed in so far - and there have been many! We had a choice of walks straight from the house and The Journey's End pub was very welcoming.

An excellent holiday home for a large group, being so close to the beach is great when you have small children. House felt spacious, we never felt on top of each other. Was very clean and well equipped. We would holiday there again as a family.

Dolphin House is the perfect holiday experience by the sea. It is a high specification home, beautifully clean and the finish on all of the interior has been so thoughtfully done. The outside seating areas are a delight allowing you to relax and enjoy the views of the sea. The extra details, quality equipment and layout of the house allows you to fully appreciate your holiday and leaves you wanting to return.

We had a wonderful relaxing week staying at Dolphin House. A fabulous property, with the beach and coastal walks only a minute away. The views from the balcony over look the sea and Baugh Island. A very well equipped kitchen too. We will definitely return.

The house is a two minute walk from a beautiful huge sandy beach, perfect for a bucket and spade holiday. There were plenty of rock pools , caves and rocks for little ones to explore, and the beach was constantly patrolled by lifeguards so we felt safe whilst in the sea and practicing kayaking. Our favourite thing in the house was the fabulous American-style fridge with its constant supply of iced water and huge storage capacity. A stunning house in a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing location that would be hard to beat, so much so that on our return journey home we booked another week for next year.
