Set in the pretty coastal hamlet of Portwrinkle, a mere hop and a skip to the water's edge and with sea vistas to delight, Grenville is the perfect escape for those who want to discover this hidden gem on the stunning south Cornish coast.

This traditional, end terrace, coastguard's cottage is ideal for families and couples alike and any four-legged friends who are lucky enough to be invited along. Spend your days rambling along the coastal footpaths, trying your hand at paddle boarding and kayaking, building sandcastles on the beach and dipping your toes in the water - this is beach life at its very best!

The sea views are simply stunning and best enjoyed from the south-facing garden and sunny terrace, dining al fresco or lounging in the hot tub. Cosy and traditional interiors await, with the dining-table enjoying pride of place at the front of the cottage, taking full advantage of the view and the toasty wood-burner in the sitting-room, is a welcome sight on those out-of-season breaks. Younger members of the party will love the bunk bedroom, which is on the ground floor next to the family bathroom, and the other two bedrooms are on the first floor, with ocean views to delight those snuggled up in the double bedroom.

Mr Johnson

Grenville is a charming terraced cottage; wonderfully Cornish and with lots of coastal touches. But the decking/garden area, sea views and connection to the beach and sea make it magical. Loved hearing the gentle waves at night and marching down to the beach after the hot tub for a dip in the sea!

Mr Charlton

The village is a lovely location with some secluded beaches within a five minute walk. The sea view is great and there's a lovely hot tub in the garden area to enjoy. Whilst the lounge and bedrooms in the property were pleasant, we were slightly disappointed with the quality of the kitchen/bathroom areas. With a decorative refresh and good clean, we felt the property would really shine as a holiday home.

Mrs Mosley

Beautiful location Very private and right near the beach. Hot tub was lovely overlooking the sea The Cottage was very comfortable but my elderly mum in law had to sleep in the bunk room as the stairs were too steep for her. The bathroom is downstairs which worked out well for her. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby. We had a fab time

Mrs Parsons

The front of this cottage including the double bedroom, the large lounge-diner and the hot-tub are lovely, as are the sea views. However, the bathroom (which comes off the kitchen) is in dire need of modernisation, the twin room has extremely narrow beds, and the downstairs bunk-bed room is dark and damp. The stairs are extremely steep and would not be suitable for younger children or anyone with mobility issues. The location is great if you want to get away from it all but the accommodation is not as luxurious as the photos suggest.

Mrs Thelen

The cottage is just great. Spacious, perfectly equipped and the nice beach is only 3 minutes away so you can just go swimming around the corner. You can see and hear the ocean from the master bedroom - it’s gorgeous!

Mrs Burrell

Fabulous well equipped clean and comfortable cottage. Stunning location with amazing views. The garden is large and secure for dogs. Hot tub is such an addition to the property. There are lovely walks from the cottage along the coastal path. The local beach is dog friendly, quite rocky but a great base beach. The local shop (very limited) is 3/4 mile away up a large hill. As a village not much there but a fabulous base. We explored local villages and beaches short drives away. Our party took additional cars and parking (at a reduced charge) available nearby. Would certainly recommend this cottage.
