A stylish, boutique cottage which is the perfect romantic getaway, close to the tranquil shores of Restronguet Creek. This little hideaway is ideal for just the two of you, and of course your little pooch.

Found via pretty lanes but only a mile from the main road this tranquil spot is great for exploring or you can just relax and enjoy your abode. Up the old granite steps to the front door, you are greeted by a restful space which exudes calmness. The open plan living area has exposed beams and a vaulted ceiling to give a superb sense of space to the property. The Shaker-style kitchen has everything you might need, including a coffee pod machine so you can enjoy your morning coffee snuggled into the comfy sofa, making plans for your day.

There is a stylish table for two for those romantic meals, or long lazy breakfasts. After a day out exploring the coast paths or pretty towns nearby, retreat to the large sofa and snuggle your feet into the sheepskin in front of the electric wood-burner, which creates a cosy atmosphere at The Barton. There is of course a TV so you can binge on your favourite box set guilt-free.

This cottage is all open plan and the bedroom is tucked away, separated from the living space, with a luxurious king-size bed and crisp, white linens for a peaceful night's slumber. The fabulous bathroom leads off the bedroom with a corner shower and an attractive free-standing slipper bath - big enough for two.

The courtyard is accessed through the patio doors in the bedroom and is a real sun-trap and an oasis surrounded by beautiful planting. There is a bistro table and chairs if you fancy something al fresco and if you want to relax in comfort with a sundowner there is a rattan table and armchairs too - the owner has thought of everything to ensure you can enjoy your stay in comfort. The enclosed patio is also perfect for dogs.

Next door is a beautiful thatched cottage which the owner lives in, however the owner is often away and every effort has been made to ensure privacy for your stay, with only the drive being shared.

Babies in arms under six months old are accepted.
