Primrose Hill
The picturesque harbour village of St Mawes, on the eastern side of the Fal Estuary, has long been one of Cornwall's most desirable and exclusive destinations. Situated on a private lane and just a ten-minute walk from the harbour, Primrose Hill is a truly magnificent house with the most stunning views over the Percuil river and the hills beyond. Found at the top of a private drive, this handsome detached house with the prettiest porch, sits contentedly on the hill looking out to sea, positioned perfectly to make the most of the views. The large outside terrace with relaxing and dining space, is one of the many gems this holiday home has to offer. Relax with family and friends to chat about the highlights of your day, take your meals outside and make the most of this very special space.
Exquisitely furnished, Primrose Hill is a luxurious property that feels like a very welcoming home-from-home, feel it wrap its arms around you as you go room to room, each thoughtfully presented to offer stylish comfort to all guests. On the ground floor you will find the fabulous sitting-room with plush sofas to sink into when you return from a day out exploring. On the cooler days and months, fire up the wood-burner and get cosy; with a small library of books, a Smart TV and a DVD player, choose a quiet read, relaxing music or your favourite movie, all you need are the snacks! For those wishing to retreat, head to the cosy snug with comfy leather sofa, there's another television in here which is ideal if the youngsters in the party want to do their own thing.
If cooking makes you happy this kitchen takes it to a whole new level, there is a very smart double range electric cooker on one side of the island, complemented by the incredibly stylish and rather large fridge/freezer with enough room for all your tasty treats. Hop up onto a stool to watch the cook create a masterpiece, with plentiful local produce nearby you are guaranteed fresh and flavoursome food. When dinner is ready, there's room for everyone around the table, open the French doors and bring the outside in, what could be better on a warm summer's day. There's a separate utility-room too if you need to wash or dry your towels after a day on the beach.
To the rear of the house, accessed up a flight of steps alongside a tiered area of lawn, you will find the secret garden. Enclosed by a manicured hedge with entrance arches, this is the perfect spot to relax in the sun, run off steam or gather the troops for a game or two and on a hot day, the trees offer a bit of shady sanctuary from the sun.
When the eyelids start to close, head upstairs to bed to one of the four bedrooms, all so beautifully furnished you may find it difficult to choose. Wherever you sleep you will enjoy quality beds and comfy pillows all dressed in fresh linens, gorgeous cushions and a calming colour scheme. Two of the bedrooms have the most fabulous en suite bathrooms and with a third family bathroom on the first floor and a shower-room downstairs, everyone gets their own little private space.

Mrs Potter
Love this property, excellent location, very well equipped, comfortably furnished this is our second stay and we have rebooked, some of our family stay with us age range from 5 years to adult, absolutely recommend without hesitation.
Mrs Whiteley
Our family of 5 had a lovely stay at Primrose Hill. It is a beautiful house in a wonderful location - a short walk down to the waterfront but far enough away to be quiet and relaxed. Even with a week of rain, we were able to enjoy the space and coziness of Primrose Hill. Plenty of room for us all to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views. St. Mawes has a number of excellent restaurants but the kitchen at Primrose Hill is so well equipped that we could quite happily eat at the house with supplies from the brilliant Mr. Scores deli. Definitely worth a visit!
Mrs Potter
From the moment we arrived this house felt welcoming and homely in an excellent position. Ages ranged from 9 years to over 70 years and was appreciated by all.
