Lovely cottage in a prime location in St Mawes. Amazing view, great facilities and space and looking forward to returning

Die Lage des Cottages ist sehr gut. Es liegt sehr ruhig, man benötigt nur ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bäcker oder zum Lebensmittelladen, der jeden Tag geöffnet hat. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es ist zwar tatsächlich in die Jahre gekommen, aber das hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Als Willkommensgruß stand Cornish Tea, Cornish Fudge und Cornish Shortbread bereit. Herzlichen Dank hierfür. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in St. Mawes! Viele herzliche Grüße Fam. Reuther

A great location with fantastic views. Has everything you need including a parking space. Outdoor space great for watching the boats in the estuary and enjoy a BBQ. Also a lovely welcome pack. Can definitely recommend.

Excellent specification, situation, views and amenities. Negative issue was broken toilet flush in en-suite room.

Lovely views and great location. The cottage however felt tired and in need of TLC.

We would stay again because of the good views over the roof tops and out to sea.

The view from this cottage is absolutely beautiful and the location is great in the heart of St Mawes. Very well equipped and dog friendly. Comfortable beds and sofa. I would totally recommend it but not perhaps for those with mobility problems as the walk to it from the village is very steep. I would love to live here. Lucky owners.

What a gem of a property, within handy reach of the village of St Mawes which allows dogs to stay. There is a great view from the front room and terrace. Clean, comfortable an very well equipped , with decent implements if you decide to cook; although there are great pubs etc in St Mawes and the foot ferry to Falmouth from the harbour, gives easy accessibility to more walks, eateries and things to do.

Great property,stunning views, so close to the water and to the shops yet blissfully quiet. We would definitely book this property again.

We had a lovely week in Mimosa and the view and location are fantastic. We did find the double mattress to be too soft for are liking.

Genuinely fab and easy views inside and outside of nearly every room of St Mawes sea and boats. Parking on site. Clean and airy property. Needs outside to be cleaned and tidied with reclining seats; and seaside curtains in living and main bedroom.

Be aware this property is not up to the usual standard of other Classic Properties (that we have experienced). The views and location are amazing but the property is a little tired and needs some love and attention. Fabulous spot in St Mawes and the parking is very useful.

We had a lovely family holiday at Mimosa Cottage in St. Mawes. Beautiful views of the sea and boats from the patio and lovely cottage with everything you need for a great family holiday. If you love kayaking canoeing and paddle boarding the beach and harbour are excellent for this.

Lovely cottage (bungalow) - good sized rooms including 2 large bathrooms (we were a family of 5 including 3 grown up children), and perfect location in St Mawes. Nice to have great views from all of the rooms (save bathrooms) and a great terrace with table and chairs and stunning views of the harbour. Well appointed neat kitchen but plenty of space and all the right utensils/cutlery etc.

Mimosa cottage is a lovely spacious and well equipped property. The views from the terrace are wonderful. Watching the sail boats was mesmerising. The parking was a little awkward and the roads a bit steep but this did not spoil the overall experience. St Mawes has some everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Mimosa has the most stunning views from a terrace that is private and enjoys all day sunshine. The location is just perfect and private parking a real benefit. We've already re-booked for next year!

We enjoyed our stay at Mimosa Cottage and found that the reality met our expectations. We were left a small welcome pack of local produce and milk which was a lovely touch, and the property was extremely clean. It was easy to find according to the instructions, the parking is on the end of the cottage, in front of the garage (blue) doors with a decent sized space to tuck into. We made the most of the view in spite of the weather, if the sun had appeared I can imagine the patio area would be a good sun trap. The location is great, a few steps down to the front and you are close by to all amenities. It is a steep walk back up to the cottage, but very short. Bed is comfortable, towels and linens all good and plenty of hot water. There is adequate seating for 4 in the living room, plus a dining table and chairs and the decor and furnishings are fresh, though some while clean and perfectly serviceable are a little dated. The only cons are that the electric shower in the ensuite is just not powerful enough, and there was a considerable draught from the front door that opens directly into the living space. Hopefully the second can be remedied quickly to save on using the extra heaters provided unnecessarily.

Brilliant view, good location and the car parking is a bonus albeit requires some careful manoeuvres.

The position of Mimosa is the winner for us.

The property (Mimosa) was excellent, super base for the holiday and when you were in the property the location was superb with an ever changing scene outside the window, my only regret is that I don't own the Mimosa

Patio and outdoor area could be improved but adequate. Brilliant location minutes from harbour area. Incredible picture window with amazing views Needs a power Shower in en-suite . Well equipped kitchen . Complimentary local food items a nice touch!

Great location and view .

The sea view is amazing and the location so close to town makes it very easy to leave the car and do day trips to Falmouth or Trelissick by ferry.

The sea view was excellent with lots of activity and the convenience of parking up the car and using the regular passenger ferry was a bonus. We also had the benefit of Doggie Day Care provided by Emma from K9 Capers who are 5 doors down while we visited the Eden Project. We were pleasantly surprised at how close to the village centre we were with pubs etc and a small Co-op.

Lovely cottage with wonderful views. Excellent facilities and everything we wanted. St Mawes is just a short walk away but the very steep hill should be highlighted.

the location of the cottage was perfect from the front window you could watch all the boats going in& out of the harbour, the local pubs were dog friendly & all the boat trips to Falmouth & the Fall river & bus stops were all within 200 metres. weather was very good & the garden was a suntrap

Shabby inside and out. Without the view from veranda cottage only worth £500 per week. If weather had been bad would have been very disappointing.

The property was absolutely perfect, had everything that we needed and was in a truly stunning location. Everything was spotlessly clean and the general presentation of the cottage was to a very high standard. Definitely exceeded our expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to my friends. We had a wonderful 'long weekend' and would have loved to have stayed for longer.

Mimosa is the perfect holiday cottage in St Mawes, we were all thrilled with the view from the cottage, which kept us enthralled every day. It's location is ideal being just minutes, by foot, from St Mawes' centre and harbour and it's neat, clean and has great bathrooms and a lovely, well stocked kitchen. We loved it.
