Fall head over heels in love this with stunning waterside home made for rest, relaxation and exploring this stunning corner of Cornwall.

Set on the banks of the River Lynher with views across to the lush Antony Estate (National Trust), this is an ideal location for exploring the Tamar Valley, the sheltered bays and beaches along Whitsand Bay, or popping across the border into Devon where the dramatic landscape of Dartmoor and the historic maritime city of Plymouth awaits.

Wind your way along the leafy 'no through' lane that leads you to this charming mid-terrace holiday haven, situated in the tiny and peaceful hamlet of Antony Passage. Reversed level accommodation is the order of the day, making the most of those stunning views out over the water from the large windows and Juliet balconies from the first floor open plan living-room. With its high vaulted ceiling, it's an impressive room offering a great space for all to gather and the toasty wood-burner is a welcome sight on chillier nights.

The sleek and stylish kitchen comes complete with all you need to whip up your holiday meals and those not cooking can pitch up at the breakfast-bar keeping the designated cook entertained. Meals are best served up at the dining-table which takes prime location directly in front of the window with those wonderful views framing your mealtimes.

Throughout the interiors are light, luxurious and very comforting - laid back and stylish letting the view take centre stage. On the ground floor, two sumptuous bedrooms, both with their own en suite facilities, beckon you to fall into them at the end of the day, with more gorgeous views of the river to send you off to sleep and such a welcome sight waiting to greet you in the morning.

Inside and out, you will soak up the setting. From the front you can get a little closer to the view, enjoying morning coffee or evening sundowners at the little bistro table and for more private get-togethers there's the secluded terrace at the back.

Mrs Belton

Lynher House is in a stunning, peaceful location - the views from the living areas are amazing. The house itself is a joy, so well appointed and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Dog friendly too with walks from the door. Would return in a heartbeat.

Mr Waters

Lynher House is in a beautiful, peaceful location, with ever changing views from the lounge windows. It is tastefully decorated and fitted out to a high standard. There are good walks along the river and country lanes. The secluded seating area at the back, off the kitchen is a sun trap where you can sit weather permitting. We enjoyed our week here apart from the noise from the building work next door, fortunately it seemed to be coming to and end.

Miss Moultire

We had a lovely stay at Lynher House the view and location was beautiful. The house was very well presented kitchen and seating area making the most of the views. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean.

Mr Hummerstone

A great stay and very peaceful environment.

Mrs Challis

We had a comfortable stay. Lots of local walks. Loved the views. While we were at Lynher house new recruits at the small Naval Base were training.

Miss Michael

Great house in a beautiful location, will be fabulous once building work on the house next door is completed.

Mrs Anderson

Lovely property, great location. Access tricky - very narrow lanes, but worth the journey. Lovely for walking but hilly!

Miss Davies

A very special property with an outstanding view. You can sit and watch the boats and seabirds go by for hours. Easy to find and great location, so close to Saltash and Plymouth.

Mrs Bull

This is a very special property. Amazing view, amazing location, amazing house. It had everything we needed and we loved eating dinner looking out onto the amazing views. We spent lots of hours paddle boarding and canoes straight from the house and enjoying walks in the nature reserve at Forder. We did miss having a garden for the dog for the night but she quickly got used to the having a torch walk down the road. Every room was very choicefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable with lovely firm pillow (which we all loved). The only down was not having anywhere to put the bin bags as when we arrived the previous persons rubbish has been eaten by the seagulls as it was left outside. The cleaner quickly cleared it up. Also need to change the time of arrival as we got there for 3pm as per the email from Classic Cottages, but the cleaner was still there and we panicked her as she said it was 4pm onwards arrival (the folder said this as well). Overall would highly recommend.

Mr Hayden

Excellent place to stay for peace and quiet, watching the river activities.
