Weatheroak and The Sail Loft

The house fully met our expectations after looking at the pictures when booking, a generous size, in a great location.

Absolutely superb location, beautiful property, we have stayed numerous times.

Our third week at Weatheroak this year - we love everything about the place!

Weatheroak and The Sail Loft are the most perfect places to stay. The houses are very comfortable and it is wonderful to be able to kayak, sail x swim from the bottom of the garden. It is a magical place for a holiday

Had a wonderful stay at Weatheroak the house is absolutely beautiful and the location stunning. Loved the little touches too such as tea, coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival. Would highly recommend and would love to come back.

We had a family get-together and had the most wonderful week. It could not have been better, and the cost per person was very good value.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Weatheroak holiday property, and our experience was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene beauty of the surroundings and the warm hospitality that greeted us. The property itself is a gem. Nestled in a picturesque location, Weatheroak offers a perfect blend of modern comfort and rustic charm. The accommodations were immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The spacious rooms were tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our own meals with ease, and the comfortable living areas were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to the Percuil River. Just at the bottom of the garden, the river is an absolute treasure. We spent many blissful hours kayaking/crabbing/paddle boarding on its calm waters, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of nature. The riverbanks are lined with lush greenery, creating a peaceful haven that feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether we were paddling along the gentle currents or simply sitting by the water’s edge, the Percuil River provided a serene backdrop that made our stay truly special. In the evenings, we returned to the comfort of Weatheroak, where we could relax on the private patio and enjoy BBQs with the family. The property’s quiet and secluded setting allowed us to fully disconnect and rejuvenate. Overall, our stay at Weatheroak was an unforgettable experience. The combination of exceptional accommodation, the enchanting Percuil River, and the natural beauty of the area made for a perfect holiday. We highly recommend Weatheroak to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in a truly beautiful setting. We can’t wait to return and create more cherished memories.

A beautifully furnished and comfortable ‘home from home’ - a perfect place for a large family get together.

I would love to keep this secret but of course it is not mine to hold. That such a place as this exists with the river at the bottom of the garden in which to swim or canoe, the enchanting garden with its magic spaces in which to rest, or the kitchen where you all can gather to share in the joys of the day.. this place simply makes beautiful memories.

There is no better place to have your boat on the water in all weathers in Percuil. Weatheroak is in a stunning position and a perfect size for family and friends.

We had a fabulous stay in Weatheroak and The Sail Loft for Easter. The house is wonderful - its location, views, garden, furnishings and equipment. We all loved not having a TV and played games or stargazed in the evenings. All in all a lovely, active holiday in a beautiful house. We would love to return as soon as possible!

This is a great house for a family holiday. It is well equiped with everything needed to make your holiday a success whatever the weather, ( games, books, puzzles etc). Plenty of communal space, lovely bedrooms with wonderful views. A beautiful garden to explore and well placed for walks into Portscatho. You do need a car for going to St Mawes, well worth the drive for the fish and chips, and pasties, as well as the walks and catching the ferry to Falmouth.

A summertime visit...we thought it would be busier than our December/January stay...our journey was.... but the peace at the property prevailed....so restorative..... Wall to wall sunshine enabled us to use the estuary to its fullest....swimming..,crabbing..fishing..paddleboarding..we were able to hire extra paddleboards from the boat yard next door and we hired a boat from St Mawes....and explored a little.. Our grandsons had an amazing time...no television...what a joy! We ventured as far as Portscatho and the Hidden Hut..but too many humans and soon returned to the peace of Weatheroak. Once again a very big thankyou to the owners for sharing their special property.....

Fabulous house in a beautiful setting. The beds and furnishings are extremely comfortable. When arriving by car make sure you have Classic’s instructions for the last bit of the journey because Sat Nav stops.

We had an amazing stay in this wonderful property...enjoying everything it had to offer..the magical grounds..the position on the river...cooking on the AGA...crabbing..browsing huge selection of special books.. So we have already booked for a return visit in summer... 3 generations from Hampshire....

THE most amazing cottage that we have ever stayed in. The highest quality throughout with the added benefit of no TV. Easy access to the sea directly from the grounds ideal if you paddle board or kayak. Would fully recommend.

A beautiful house in a stunning location! Cracking week all round!

There were a few maintenance issues which we shared for attention on our departure however that being said we had a wonderful time in a beautiful house and very special location, we will be back!!! It’s a treasure to have found ??

Absolutely gorgeous property which all ages enjoyed. Percuil is a hidden gem with walks and stunning scenary. Absolutely best house in the village!

A great place to be at any time of the year as it is a lovely house in a protected area.

We have stayed at the Sail Loft on 8/9 occasions and loved it. Weatheroak took our enjoyment to another level. It’s difficult to imagine a better location or stylish property. We have already re- booked for 2021: what more needs to be said.

This is a true wonderful property in a fabulous location. We moored our dinghy and had great fun exploring the local area, by boat, by foot and by road. The house absolutely stunning, is well equipped and has with some great art works to admire. Please don't book it though, as it might not be available for us next time!

A magnificent house,which has a unique and very attractive style,with fabulous gardens and views over the river.The surrounding countryside is also magnificent,and on sunny days,it's beyond compare,every view seems to lead on to another,and thebeaches are clean and so very special.
