Lowenna is a fantastic property, very nicely presented to a very high standard. The hosts are fantastic and gave great advice on local places to visit and eat. We will definitely return in the future.

Perfect location for walking coastal path and so close to the beach/portscatho. Didn’t need to use the car all week. Recommend Sunday lunch at the standard ( book) Owners friendly. Cottage well stocked with plenty of everything for the stay. Would definitely stay again!

We had a weeks holiday staying at Lowenna. The quality of the accommodation was amazing and the finishing touches very well thought out. It was close to a beautiful beach and near to the centre of the village. A perfect holiday.

The property is beautifully decorated and very clean. Lovely location with plenty of parking and easy walking access to the beach, Portscatho and The Hidden Hut. We love it here!!

Cosy accommodation, well equipped (plenty of room in kitchen cupboards for personal food items which is also a bonus). Easy to get to beach on foot.

Very comfortable, homely cottage, clean and modern. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Plenty of hot water and heating. Very well equipped especially kitchen items. The owners have thought of everything! A warm welcome when we arrived with Cornish tea and biscuits, milk and coffee. Lowenna is set in peaceful surroundings with fenced grassy areas in the grounds, perfect for walking our dog. The cottage is in a super location. Just a 10-minute walk to beautiful Porthcurnick Beach with a stop at the cafe for coffee and cake. Portscatho is also a short walk away along the coastal path. A wonderful holiday and stay at Lowenna. Hope to return next year.

Lowenna is comfortable and well equipped. It is ideally situated for the beach and walks on the coast path. The owners are very friendly and helpful and we look forward to further visits.

What a wonderful time we had at Lowenna. The property was beautiful and the location was perfect for what we wanted. Close enough to walk to the beach and Portscatho. We enjoyed a few lunches at The Hidden Hut. A thoroughly brilliant time!! We will definitely return.

This is great accommodation -simply furnished but well equipped it had everything we needed. Plenty of storage space for our food and belongings. Friendly owner. Good views of the beach from the orchard. We have booked again.

I can’t recommend this highly enough. The accommodation and location were fantastic. So well equipped and surroundings were wonderful, esp having an enclosed deck area for the little ones to play. The beach is only a walk away, as is portscatho itself. It’s tranquil and peaceful and a great base to explore. The owners are so lovely and welcoming, we will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lowenna Cottage. It is a very clean, comfortable and well equipped place to stay. It is situated in a beautiful part of Cornwall on the Roseland Peninsula. It was only a few minutes walk to the coast path and Porthcurnick beach. Our dog had a lovely holiday too!

Great, well presented accommodation, with a welcoming and helpful owner, in a beautiful location ideal for exploring the Roseland and beyond. We will definitely be making return visits.

Superb loaction, Superb Prorperty and brilliant that the owner has really thought about the guests... big, small and furry, Go on book this one you wont be disappointed, just dont book the first week in November 2022 as we want to go again..

Excellent accommodation in a wonderful location. Owner very welcoming and happy to help with any questions regarding property or area but did not intrude on your privacy. It was the perfect place for us and our golden retriever Cara to relax in after our many walks on the beaches. We would love to come again. Sue , John and Cara

Lowenna is a fantastic holiday let. It exceeded our expectations and is extremely comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. Highly recommended. The cottage itself (all aspects) and location are both excellent.

Absolutely loved our stay at Lowenna. Jean is lovely, very welcoming and on hand to help with anything, otherwise leaves you alone to relax and enjoy. Lowenna is spotless, i actually thought we were the first people to stay as it is immaculate. Fabulous location, no distance at all to the beach and 10 minute stroll to Portscatho. One of our favourite spots on the 380 miles of the SW coast path that we have walked. Thank you.

Everything about our stay at Lowenna was great, the warm welcome, the location, quality, cleanliness and facilities at Lowenna were exemplary and we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lowenna. Jean and Doug, the owners (and Sidney the dog), were really helpful, friendly and helped us make the most of our stay and discovering this beautiful area of Cornwall.

We had a wonderful week at Lowenna. A modern comfortable property perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday with our teenage children and dog by the coast. Excellent location for coastal path walks and fabulous local pub, shop and coffee huts. We would love to visit again one day.

A well equipped beautiful property, recently renovated to a high standard. Amazing rainfall shower over the bath. Cottage is in a great location - 5 min walk to beach and The Hidden Hut, 10 mins to village. Beautiful view across fields to the beach. Owners live in site so were there for a chat or questions if we needed but left us to get on with our hols.

We can't praise this place enough we absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning. We haven't stayed in such a fantastically equipped self catering before it had everything we needed and more. The welcome was lovely and the owner so kind.

Really enjoyable week at Lowenna, great accommodation and amazing location! Just a 5 minute walk to the beach, it was perfect for us and our 2 year old. Loads of rock pools to explore and the Hidden Hut nearby to supply us with coffee and cake!

Fantastic cottage in a perfect location. The cottage is furnished to such a high standard and is so well equipped. Brilliant for children, our 1 year old loved it and was safe to play on the enclosed decking. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Lowenna. The location is ideal for walking and close to Porthcurnick beach. The cottage has been refurbished to an extremely high standard, is incredibly well equipped and well presented. The owners are friendly and helpful and we can't wait to visit either Lowenna or it's neighbour, Bryher, next year.

My wife and I stayed for a week at Lowenna and loved it. The overall standard was excellent. The cottage is bright, modern, clean and welcoming. The owners clearly demonstrate a desire to meet and exceed the needs of their customers. The location of the cottage is excellent, being just a few mins walk from the village, very close to the coast path and in a lovely quiet area with views to the sea over the fields. It couldn't have been more perfect. This area of Cornwall is very picturesque and unspoiled. As such we would love to return in the future and will consider Lowenna our first choice for this area.

We loved our stay at lowenna! Really exceeded our expectations - great location and great facilities for us and our dog dougal. The house had everything you needed including a great area to sit outside. I’m pregnant so getting the extra comfort of the lazy chair was brilliant! Would definitely come back to this place

Top class property, easy parking & lovely location.

It's difficult to put our finger on it but the property just didn't come up to our expectations. Maybe we were expecting too much?

This is an excellent property with all the modern facilities you would expected. As a dog owner this a great example of how a property should be. Clean well equipped with modern facilities. The orchard was especially useful and something that we and Jasper enjoyed daily. The location was superb, close enough to Portscatho to walk in and enjoy and meal, but far enough out not to have any problems with parking or noise. The fact that Porthcurnick beach is at the 'bottom of the garden' is also another wonderful feature and the wonders of the 'Hidden Hut' were enjoyed by all of us. Overall a superb property and one that we intend to book again soon.
