A truly fabulous house with breathtaking views. Great location, spotlessly clean, couldn't ask for more. We all said that on arrival, it was even better than we had hoped for.

Our 5th or 6th time here, light, airy, large patio doors in lounge and all bedrooms, kitchen has been refitted, always lovely and clean, 10 mins walk to Port Mellon about 12/15 to Mevagissey. View of Chapel Point, great place . Mark ,Tina

Lovely cottage in a quiet spot looking over beautiful Portmellon valley. Easy walk into Mevagissey but the uphill walk back is not for the faint hearted. The cottage provided everything we needed, including a comfortable living space for us to enjoy ‘together time’. Local activities include fishing, the museum, the aquarium and several walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay.

Netherway is a lovely house in a great location. There are great walks and an excellent choice of eateries nearby. We were not expecting such a good range, and high standard of cafes and restaurants in Mevagissey. We ate out pretty much everyday. The hilly walk home helped us to burn off some of the extra calories! The house is very comfortable, clean and well equipped for all your holiday needs.

Beautiful views, lovely comfortable cottage. We had everything we needed. Good facilities. Dishwasher was super handy. Pub is about 7- 10 minutes walk away to Portmellon. Yes, the hill was steep back up but not too bad if you took your time. The sunrises were wonderful when it wasn’t foggy. Great balcony to step out on to. If it had been summer we could have been out on it every day. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Fantastic cottage with gorgeous views. Just a short walk into the main harbour and the view is so stunning you don’t mind the steepness. We had a wonderful week in Netherway.

We had a fabulous stay in this stunning location. Netherway was ideally placed to enjoy all of Mevagissey and Portmellon on foot and lots of walks to be had. A car for further trips would be needed. The property was clean, comfortable and spacious. We hope to return some time.

We loved Netherway. It was everything you want from a holiday house. It was bright, very clean and welcoming with comfortable furniture and well equipped. The location was perfect: a short distance to both the centre of Megavissy and Portmellon beach. It would have been good to have the washing machine and freezer in the kitchen and as we had seen on a previous review our dog could get out of the bottom area of the garden. He was however secure on the large decking area. However, given how lovely everything else was these were both very forgivable.

After spending hours looking for a place for our family I found Netherway which ended up fitting our requirements perfectly. Non of us wanted a bunkbed being “more mature” and minimal steps for mum (86yr young) and a view but close to places of interest to walk to. We had an amazing week revisiting locations from our childhood with our mum and my husband who had never been to Cornwall! We have already recommended this location and can’t wait to return again soon. Comfy and well equipped with amazing views.

Netherway is a very special place to stay. So it was our third stay there. The cottage is very comfortable and cosy. Nothing is missing. The fireplace brings warmth and the view from the livingroom window is breathtaking. The kitchen is very well equipped, the terrace has a lot of space to sit and relax in the sun. Mevagissey is a nice little harbour village with little shops and a lot to see. The coast path runs through the village and it is a nice walk either to Pentewan or Gorran Haven where you can rest and than walk back. A wonderful place!

Netherway is an incredible getaway, with character and unique charms that make it stound out from other great places we've stayed. The views are amazing - better in real life than pics can convey - and the lightness and airiness of the rooms with their patio doors leading onto the balcony were really special. We visited during the October heatwave - so got full benefit of the balcony and outdoor seating. Clean and comfy, good kitchen equipment for cooking, big telly, strong wifi and decent power showers. Quick access to Mevagissy and Portmellon - the hills are steep but short, so you're back home before you have a chance to get too puffed out. We really loved this place and highly recommend it.

We loved our stay at Netherway, despite the weather. The house is so comfortable and well furnished and was certainly as good, if not better, than the photos. We really enjoyed the walk into Mevagissey every day, so picturesque. Loved the views out of the dining area, both sea and countryside. Just gorgeous.

Had a lovely two week stay at Netherway which is beautifully appointed with wonderful views from the veranda. Couldn’t really ask for more at this property which is why so many guests return year on year. Spacious rooms throughout with comfy beds & furniture. Hope to return next year.

Netherway is a lovely location and we spend to wonderful weeks there.

This was our second stay at Netherway, although there was a long gap in between. Being in a bungalow came as a welcome relief after walking the ups and downs of the coast path, which has many steps! It is an easy-ish walk into Mevagissey and back for an evening meal. The house is generally well-equipped, and the utility room a veritable aladdin's cave of equipment for children from high chair and padding pool to other toys and even body boards.

Just returned from a wonderful 4 night break at Netherway. An absolute gem of a property, comfortable furnishings, a nice big lounge for socialisation, a dining room with a view, (spectacular views in general!), lovely big bedrooms... I could go on! The property was close to town (down the hill) and within an hours' roundtrip had walked the dog to Colona beach and back. The only negative is the garden as it wasn't enclosed and we had to take the dog on the lead every time she wanted to go outside. However, it was such a beautiful property that it more than made up for this niggle.

Beautiful location and we loved the balcony looking out to sea. Housekeeping service was disappointing.

Netherway is absolutely stunning, the minute my family and I walked through the door we all just smiled and felt very comfortable there. We were lucky with the weather in November and was able to sit out on the beautiful balcony with the most amazing views of the sea and hills. It was so clean and bright and the decor was beautiful, very seasidish (if that is a word)!! In the morning we could all see the sun rise from our bedrooms as all the bedrooms are along the back of the cottage, just perfect. Thank you!!

Netherway is a stunning place to holiday. The views are excellent and the property is first class. As long as you are prepared for the hill in and out of Mevagissey you could not choose better.

This is a beautiful house with stunning views. Clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Short walk to Mevagissey and within easy reach of many gorgeous beaches.

Netherway is like your own little, magical Neverland tucked away in Portmellon / Mevagissey. This was our 2nd stay and we will be back next year. It's wonderful if you need a single level cottage with a few steps to enter / exit. It's well appointed and has peaceful views of the surrounding area. The back deck is wonderful for sitting outside with your morning tea or sipping a glass of wine to end your day - although tis a bit chilly at the end of March.

Great cottage in fabulous position, the views really are amazing from every room. Clean and well kept. Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Various places to eat without having to drive. Would highly recommend.

Netherway is perfectly located with beautiful views across the countryside and the sea. We spent alot of time on the lovely decked area enjoying the sunshine. The outside furniture is very comfortable. The accommodation is excellent, beds are very comfortable and we slept well. We will definitely return.

Had a fantastic holiday at Netherway, really didn’t want to come home. The location is perfect with amazing views over countryside and the sea. Would definitely recommend.

Netherway is a lovely bungalow that is a perfect base for touring the local area. The property comes with everything you need for a perfect stay. We hope to return soon to enjoy another relaxing holiday.

We had a really lovely holiday and felt chilled the moment we looked out of the windows at the fantastic view. Very clean and well kept. A really comfortable apartment.

Lovely comfortable accommodation, nice views too! The decking would be a bonus in good weather. A short walk to the village for shops and places to eat. Driving through the village is not for the feint hearted, as the roads are very narrow in places, and can involve a lot of reversing!

Well equipped and very comfortable cottage with amazing views of the sea and countryside. We loved sitting on the veranda in the afternoons and evenings after a day's exploring and visiting. Lots of narrow lanes to drive when entering and exiting Portmellon but that's all part of visiting Cornwall! We only used the car a few day's as lots of coastal walking from the doorstep . Would thoroughly recommend staying here .

This cottage is in an expensive area of outstanding natural beauty. I think it is excellent value for money, providing cosiness, comfort, plenty of light and space and beautiful views.

The views are even better than the photos!

Position/views were fantastic and great to be able to sit on the deck (weather permitting!!) Generally bright and airy and well appointed. Tip, after a stressful journey through the extremely narrow streets of Mevagissey on the way to the cottage we choose to use the slightly longer back route for the rest of our stay. Highly recommend The Lost Gardens of Heligan and fish and chips from Gorran Haven. The beach at Portmellon was great at low tide, but note it completely disappears at high tide. Visiting the area during the restrictions of a pandemic was different but most shops were well prepared and we avoided very busy places.

We had a wonderful week at Netherway. It have everything we needed for a comfortable stay for 5 of us, 3 of whom are 80 plus. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the decking for leisurely cups of coffee or afternoon tea.

We had a lovely stay. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. Lots of books and leaflets about the area which was nice, as well as a selection of DVD's and old board games. The view from the porch was perfect. We spent a few mornings having our breakfast out there which was very relaxing. Its a good location near Mevagissey. We had several walks along the coast straight from the house which was nice.

This lovely cottage is spectacular! I don’t want to rave it up too much as then it won’t be available when we want to book it next. Seriously though, it’s a little gem. Even on grey days it just makes you happy to look outside. Plenty of room for everyone in our party with room to spare! Netherway is beautifully appointed and has everything you need!

The views from the back windows / patio doors and deck area of the property are wonderful even if we didn't have the best weather. Watching a storm from the elevated position was fascinating and we felt very warm and cosy in the cottage.

Fabulous cottage, light, airy, lots of personal touches from the owners, really clean and bright, bathrooms clean good showers, lovely place, cracking views to Chapel Point, love patio doors in bedrooms, thoroughly recommend this property.

We immediately felt at home in this beautiful cottage! Loved to have breakfast on the sunny terrace. There are a lot of interesting places in the immediate surrounding. The location was also a good base to discover places in the south and northwest of Cornwall.

It is a light and airy property with a nice decking area with seating which is great when the sun is out with views to the sea, not bad inside but needs some loving care.

We enjoyed our week in Netherway. It was better then expected. There is so much light in the rooms. The views from nearly all the rooms are fantastic.

Excellent cottage with spectacular views. Very comfortable and well equipped.

The views were excellent from the decking area, and the outside decked area was excellent for outdoor eating or evening drinks. The bedrooms were very comfortable with more than adequate storage, and flexible enough to accommodate families of different numbers. The kitchen is well-equipped and the appliances provided covered every need or eventuality.

We have been to Cornwall many times ,but this was the best .beautiful views comfortable lovely house great walks.dont think it could be improved on .we hope to book again as you can tell we loved it.

Welcoming and convenient with stunning views and a wonderful deck area. Lovely walk down to Mevagissey to soak up the harbour atmosphere without the hassle of parking and to Portmellon bay in the other direction for swimming. Easy access to stunning coast and countryside especially in the Gorran Haven direction. A very relaxing break.

Wonderful situation with very nice views which can be enjoyed from the decking. A well equipped house. Some lovely walks from the house both inland and along the coast.
