Amazing little place. Would happily return. Such a comfy peaceful stay

Myself and two of my children stayed here for the weekend and we loved it. Had such fun in the hot tub and were given coals for the barbeque which was great. Beds were lovely and comfy that I've purchased the same stuff for our home. Loved that the bunk beds had their own little night lights. Can't wait to stay again!

Excellent location and stay - so peaceful. Loved the little touches like the cream tea and biscuits on arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we might need for our stay too.

Lovely stay, great location for exploring Cornwall. Very cosy, perfect for a couple or small family.

If you need a place to stay that is peaceful and away from it all then this is the place. Well equipped and well designed. Beautiful surroundings and views and lovely hot tub. No TV which was ideal, we sat outside all the time either in the hot tub or around the fire pit. Family are lovely that own it and gave us Scones and cream. Remote, peaceful holiday and well needed.

We had the perfect stay in the Lions Den. The view was stunning to wake up to each morning and enjoy from the hot tub. The location was perfectly central for travelling with ease to both north and south sides of Cornwall. There was so much to do within a half an hour driving radius. We would highly recommend a visit to Fowey, Polperro and Adrenalin Quarry. The London Inn just down the road in St.Neots was great for food. A perfect stay, you could never run out of things to do and see! Highly recommended.

Beautiful shepherds hut with everything you need for a lovely holiday. The hot tub was a fabulous addition- our boys were in it almost every night! The location is quite secluded, though beautiful and has stunning views.

This is a great place for a comfortable 'get away from it' all break. Excellently equipped with everything needed to a very high spec. Great location in central Cornwall for exploring the county. Would be very happy to stay again in the future.

We had the best stay at The Lion's Den! The view from the hut is out of this world and it's very secluded. We were left some gorgeous homemade scones with clotted cream and jam for our arrival which was such a lovely touch and the owners were very friendly, giving us ideas of places to visit locally. We were blessed with the weather for our whole stay but come rain or shine, this is a hidden gem and we will definitely be booking again! Thank you for providing such a beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful, quiet location with a well-equipped, nicely furnished shepherd’s hut. Cosy and charming. We loved the view and the hot tub too. Great location for getting to lots of Cornwall gems - Eden Project, Fowey, Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Michael’s Mount all within an hour or so drive.

Can’t recommend enough a hidden jem! You won’t be disappointed if book here, we stayed in the lions den and loved it, lots of memories made!

Wonderful place for our honeymoon Cream tea on arrival which was delicious, milk and flowers were lovely touches. The hut was very clean and well equipped. Hot tub was fab especially after long coastal walks, being able to relax and look at beautiful views was perfect. Rosie loved the dog treats and running free on the grassy area. The under bed storage was ideal and the wardrobe behind the bed also, was perfect to store a big suitcase! Such a peaceful place, loved hearing the owl at night. Nearest amenities 20 minutes drive to Bodmin.

Beautiful and very spacious accommodation finished to a very high standard. Immaculately clean with all the facilities for a relaxing week away. Large very powerful shower, the fridge is silent..great cooking facilities - everything is so well thought out, We arrived after a long journey to homemade scones, clotted cream, jam and milk in the fridge. Stunning location for a restful week away. Highly recommend to anyone wanting peace, quiet and tranquility - the hot tub was a bonus and with wonderful views. A real gem!

Loved our stay here, beautiful location, our little shepherds hut came equipped with everything you’d need. Great location some beautiful hidden beaches 30 mins drive and plenty of beautiful walks on your doorstep.

My husband and I had a weeks brake at this beautiful little slice of heaven with our fur baby. We have had the most amazing time and enjoyed every minute of the holiday only thing I would say is that it needs to be better sign posted as took us a while in our tired state for instance having a sign at the top of the drive We will definitely be coming back 1000%

Lovely location if you want peace and quiet. Views were outstanding. Hot tub was great and very relaxing. Ideal for visiting many places in Cornwall as quite central. Cream tea on arrival very pleasant. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Perfectly appointed accommodation. Stunning views of the valley, especially from the hot tub. A wonderfully relaxing destination for a staycation and great base to explore Cornwall.

We had a wonderful stay. The hut was in a beautiful location and you can see all over the hills when you take a dip in the hot tub! Nice and cosy inside especially when the log burner is on.

The owner came down and had a long conversation with us. She was extremely friendly and welcoming. Beautiful location. Perfect break for a couple, family (up to 4) and puppy dogs

Beautiful hut in the most peaceful and stunning location imaginable. It can’t fail to meet expectations. Well equipped to cook a meal/have a bbq and sit in the hot tub, which is delightful regardless of weather. We had a fantastic relaxing week and enjoyed every minute of our holiday.

This place is an absolute treasure, we loved every second of our stay and will be back as soon as the bookings open for next year!

Despite the constant rain we still had a lovely time at the Lions Den. The scones and dog biscuits on arrival were a lovely surprise and the hot tub was amazing. It's a great base to explore Cornwall from especially all those great beaches.

Lion's Den is a fantastically situated and luxuriously appointed hut in the Cornish equivalent of Narnia. Even with 2 dogs in tow we watched deer, fox and even a badger from the bliss of our hot tub after a day of exploring Cornwall. A great base and to return to this level of luxury every day, pop a cork and settle in to the hot tub to watch the stars meant we really didn't want to leave !

This truly was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed, the views over looking the countryside are simply amazing, peaceful and calming. The Shepherds Hut is extremely cosy and comfortable. You feel like you are the only ones around for miles and we came away feeling very relaxed which is exactly what we wanted. A perfect excuse to get away from TV and technology, instead we enjoyed BBQ's, games and a nice glass of wine as the sun goes down. Most of all, they are very dog friendly. Our dog loved being able to roam free and explore, he especially liked the treats that were waiting for him on arrive while we enjoyed a very lovely homemade cream tea which was ready and waiting for the humans. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Lions Den. The hut is decorated beautifully throughout and has amazing views. The cream tea was a lovely welcoming surprise. The hot tub is a fantastic addition to the hut and is definitely a wonderful way to relax and unwind. Just a note to future visitors that the hot tub is visible from the farm house which does loose your feeling of seclusion.

We had a lovely stay at the Lion’s Den. Everything we needed was provided. Home made scones and cream were a bonus! It was so nice and cosy and very comfortable. The kids loved the hot tub.

Had a wonderful break in Lion's Den - quite idyllic - Narnia like as it's twin!

We were looking to book something a bit different and we definitely found this. The owner was very helpful and friendly too. Beautiful attention to detail and the hot Tub was a benefit.

We had the most fabulous stay at The Lion's Den. The views are outstanding. The hut itself is so spacious for a family of four and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We did not need to eat out as the kitchen/cooking/indoor and outdoor dining facilities are perfectly adequate - the fire pit was brilliant and the little oven was amazing - you could even cook a full roast in it! The beds were so comfortable with beautiful linen and towels. The en suite facilities worked really well too. The hot tub was amazing whatever the weather - rain or shine - a perfect place to soak up the stunning views or follow the stars at night. Its set in a great situation for exploring both the north and south coasts of Cornwall too. We did a trip to the Eden Project which we all thoroughly enjoyed. I would highly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed!

Highly recommend, we had a lovely honeymoon here it is so secluded, comfortable and peaceful we had everything we needed and enjoyed star gazing in the hot tub during the evenings. It was so relaxing listening to the birds while reading on the lawn or hammock. We even saw a family of deer :) It is central to both north and south coasts and we enjoyed walking along the moors with the highland cows and horses which was on our doorstep. The owners are very kind and easy to talk to, they recommended a lovely pub to visit which was very accommodating to my diet (I am dairy and gluten intolerant).
