The Enchanted Wardrobe at Warleggan
The Enchanted Wardrobe is stuff that dreams are made of - a holiday here will transport you to the magical land of Narnia - no, really! The pretty hamlet of Warleggan is twinned with CS Lewis' fantasy land and is where your adventure begins.
Nestled into a peaceful corner of a meadow, surrounded by 12 acres of open countryside, historic woodlands and moorland streams - along with its siblings The Lion's Den and The Witch's Wagon (picking up on a theme yet?), each with plenty of their own private space - you will soon fall under the spell of the breath-taking panoramic views across the Glynn Valley. Perfect for families and couples alike, wake to the sound of birdsong, spend the day spotting wildlife, marvel at spectacular sunsets, share stories around the fire-pit and enjoy meals in the great outdoors as you embrace country living at its very best. At the end of the day, watch the stars twinkle in the sky from the bubbling hot tub - this is a designated dark landscape area, after all.
Step inside and it's anything but a wardrobe, super-spacious (seriously, it's huge!) with all you could need for a comfortable stay, lovingly handcrafted with the utmost quality and an exceptional eye for detail. The bespoke fitted kitchen includes an oven, two-ring hob and full-size fridge, and there's a dining-area too, with a picture window looking out on the beautiful view. The warming wood-burner ensures year-round cosiness, with the sofa providing the perfect place to sit with a good book - perhaps a du Maurier or Rosamunde Pilcher, both of whom were inspired by this wonderful county. There's a sumptuous king-size bed (lazy mornings gazing at the view are a must) as well as triple bunk-beds that the kids will love and, in true luxury glamping style, a stylish en suite shower-room.

What a wonderful setting perfect for what we needed. Perfect we could add my child on last minute and was no trouble. We had a small problem when we was there and with in 10 minutes the owner had txt to sort it. Very very good service. It was really clean and welcomed with cream tea and milk. Hot tube was amazing noone could look over us and is was so quite and the fire was romantic to sit next to. Thank you so much
Mrs Collins
A comfortable and easy stay, in a lovely part of the country
Ms Walker
Owners are very happy to provide support and information. Shephards hut is cosy and comfortable, it brings you back to the minimalist way of life with no TV, a log fire for heating and board games for entertainment. Alongside a hot tub and great scenery. At night it was very peaceful and quiet, we were the only ones there for the 3 nights and 4 days. The local was great for a roast. Will be visiting again
Mrs Archbutt
We had the best family time, enjoying the beautiful relaxing views, green space and hot tub in this fabulous shepherd's hut. Brilliant location and value for money in the spacious and modern enchanted wardrobe hut.
Mr Clarke
We loved our stay, it was full of comfort, warmth and relaxation and the hot tub just topped it off. It was beautiful waking to the sound of birds and the long views of beautiful scenery that surrounded us. One thing that could be of benefit to people would be a clothes horse for the wet garments to be hung on outside after hot tub use. Will definitely be booking again
Mrs Lynch
Second time visiting and was just as good. We love it here. Open space, away from it all shepherds hut and wonderful hot tub. Although a bit of a drive to our favourite beaches it’s worth it. The owner’s are friendly, welcoming and on hand to sort anything if a problem. We’ll be back.
Mrs Ward
Absolutely fabulous stay. The shepherd's hut is so well thought out and very well equipped with everything you need. Super comfortable beds too. Hot tub definitely a bonus. Spent an amazing weekend away with the family feeling like we got away from it all. We will definitely be back.
Mrs Tew
Gorgeous place with amazing views. The shepherds hut was brilliantly laid out and surprisingly spacious for a family of 5. Great launch pad for exploring Cornwall. We will be back.
Mrs Taylor
Perfect Week away, Bed so comfy, good shower, lots of hot water. Hot Tub Bliss, Sharon And Stuart on hand if needed, they let our Grand daughter Feed Blackie the Lamb, so cute. Fantastic views, good memories.
Mrs Lynch
Beautiful hut in a peaceful setting. We really felt like we were away from it all. Spent lots of time in the hot tub, which was so lovely. The kids loved the bunk beds and the facilities were great. Weather wasn’t brilliant but made the most of it. Was a little drive to our favourite beach - Constantine Bay but once there didn’t disappoint even with a downpour! Great break away and we will return.
Mrs Taylor
Cosy and quirky with all the home comforts necessary for a comfortable stay. The hut was surprisingly spacious with great facilities and beautiful views. The kids loved the bunk beds and the hot tub and the scones and cream that greeted us on arrival were a lovely touch. Only wish we had stayed longer.
Mr Talbot
Would just like to say how nice this place is and would highly recommend it. The hosts were great nothing was ever an issue and was always there if needed but also let you just get on with your holiday. Will definitely be going back at some point.

Such a wonderful stay, we were relaxed from the minute we arrived. Stunning location, hut was fantastic with everything we needed and meeting the farm animals made our stay even more memorable. Would love to go back
Mrs England
fantastic!!!!!! loved every minute of it. hosts were lovely - perfect scenery, made explore a part of cornwall we have never seen before. Peace and tranquility galore - just glad my husband had to navigate those narrow roads and oncoming fast local traffic!! have booked again for next year.
Mrs Rees
We had a fantastic 4 night stay at the enchanted wardrobe. It was a special place to stay with lovely views, hot tub, everything we needed in our hut and plenty of space for our 2 boys to run around and explore. A great family break.
Miss Slade
We will definitely be staying there again, both hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely additional touches such as scones for our arrival
Mrs Radford
Wow! What fantastic accommodation. This property far exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely stunning and spacious. More than enough room for a family of four or five. This property has everything you need and is in a beautiful location surrounded by wildlife and farm animals. Our children loved the freedom this location allowed them to run around and safely play in the grounds of the farm. It is ideally located to escape the hustle and bustle of busier resorts but close enough to easily travel for days out anywhere in Cornwall. We cannot fault it and we have already decided we are returning next year! Thank you for a fantastic holiday!
Miss Treadwell
Loved the hot tub, fire pit, the bed was super comfy and I loved waking up to the view every morning. Parking was easy, the kitchen had everything you needed, nice bathroom and the quality of towels and bedding was fantastic. Great location to explore from, I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone, it has a real magical feel about it.
Mr Keeling
Our second stay here did not disappoint. Waking up to the view across the moor, a dip in the hot tub and the splendid isolation of it all. The perfect place for a get away from it all break. High standard of accommodation, beautiful location and full on relaxation. We love it here.
Mrs Howell
We very much enjoyed out stay at the Enchanted Wardrobe, it's in a good location and is peaceful with lovely views. We stayed in November and we were lovely and cosy - the woodburner is great and kept us lovely and warm. The hot tub was a good experience, though the cover is a bit heavy and needs two people to lift the cover off and on and carry it. The quality of the furnishings is good, though a couple of the blinds were grubby unfortunately. A torch is a good idea as there's no outside lighting until you get in and switch the outside light on, this is dim though and the hot tub area is a bit gloomy when dark, though some might say atmospheric! We slept well as the mattresses and bed linen were of good quality. The bathroom is tiny but the shower is good and powerful, there is no lock or handle on the door though... perhaps to be child-friendly? There is a combination oven/ microwave that we found complicated to use. We found the main door difficult to open, close and lock but we did mention it to the owner so hopefully they will fix this. It's a good location with access to both coasts and the villages nearby are very picturesque.
Mrs Fricker
This property was of an exceptional standard, can't recommend it enough and will certainly be back.
Ms Fazey
Honestly could not fault this place, it had absolutely everything you could need. The place was very clean and felt very homey, plus the bed was super comfy. The hosts were great and helped us with any extras we needed, also left us a cream tea upon our arrival which was very much enjoyed. Location was great too, not too far from anything, we walked to the local pub the London Inn which was great and the owners were very welcoming. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return. Thank You.
Mrs Furnival
Fantastic property! Luxurious home from home in a beautiful location. Can’t wait to come back.
Mrs Sharp
A very lovely place to get away from it all.
Mrs Adams
If you want to try glamping go to the Enchanted Wardrobe or the other two huts. The area around Warleggan is beautiful and the hut site is excellent. A very good hot tub is present to use. The stars as night were wonderful.
Mr Browes
What surprised me most about this Shepards Hut was the quality of the fixtures and fittings, and the quality of the services in general. From snuggly duvets to china mugs, hot showers to hot tubs, it's all top notch. The whole experience gave you the adventure of the outdoors, without coming anywhere close to roughing it!
Mrs Surrey
Brilliantly designed, comfortable and charming space plus thoughtful touches such as a cream tea and milk in the fridge upon arrival. Refreshingly specified for a family of five too!
Mrs Wallis
The Enchanted Wardrobe was perfect for our family break in Cornwall from start to finish! It is really difficult for families of 5 to find places that can accommodate us all so comfortably and in style - this place has got it so right! The setting was beautiful, there really is an amazing view from the hot tub, outdoor area and from every window, come rain or shine. The owner achieved a perfect balance of welcoming us and being available without any intrusion into our family time. The location is so peaceful, it is a drive to the beaches for day trips but it’s worth it...we loved returning to the countryside views in the hot tub that felt like we’d found a special and secret place to chill out!!
Mr McEwen
excellent place! nice relaxed stay!
