Robley Farmhouse

We had such a lovely week at the farmhouse as we had booked on the strength of the older photos, the renovations were beautiful and the kids loved the games room massive tv and hot tub with amazing views, we took our bikes and had great days out exploring the Camel trail & Cardinham woods, would also recommend the Cornwall seafari experience from Fowey, a fantastic boat ride to see the dolphins and seals. contact with classic cottages was simple and friendly, the helpful staff answering any questions promptly, have used many holiday cottage sites but never classic cottages before, they are now our No 1 choice for our next break!

Beautiful views from this property and the hot tub. Nice walks up the lane and into the woods. Good WiFi throughout the property. We did unfortunately have several major problems with the heating (non existent in the games room) and tv which the office and owner tried to fix. The Weavers Inn in Bodmin has excellent food, great roast dinner and the best fish and chips. Worth getting a dessert too, and are very dog friendly. Ideal location for visiting the North or South of Cornwall. All in all a beautiful house with plenty to occupy everyone even on a soggy day.

Very good house for a large family. Particularly when the weather is not so great. The location handy for North and South coast but also not close to anywhere at the same time. This was ideal for our annual family holiday. We certainly had good value following the recent upgrade.

Having been newly renovated Robley Farmhouse exceeded our expectations. We had booked based on previous photos of the house and were blown away by the large extension. The games room, large TV, hot tub and stunning views provided plenty of entertainment. My toddler very much enjoyed playing with the outdoor toys provided and running around in the spacious and secure garden. We particularly enjoyed waking up to the view and watching the sheep in field with a morning coffee. The house is quite rural, so a car is a must, we had to drive out to visit most places, however this did not bother us as the house and views are more than worth it.

We were the first to stay in the newly renovated Robley Farmhouse. We hadn’t seen any new photos before we arrived and were absolutely blown away! The games room is an amazing space and we loved the full sky package. The view and the hot tub were simply amazing. Overall the house was beautifully light and airy, the beds were comfy and it was genially a lovely place to be. The location is also great being only 10 Minutes from Bodmin and the A30 for getting around. I would absolutely recommend this holiday house!

Robley Farm was the perfect getaway set within a peaceful location, just what we needed. It had everything you could want, with the added bonus of a hot tub, amazing!

What we liked in our return visit: The view, the comfort of the house, the quality furniture, the space in the house, the cleanliness. There is a very warm and lovely feel to the house and its position overlooking the green hills with sheep and lovely garden. We are especially impressed by the customer service of Classic Cottages and the owner. You helped us out and really came through for us! Thank you!

Excellent, modern, comfortable holiday home. Super well equipped with a view to exceed most expectations. Safe for children, our toddler loved running all the way round and the children’s toys and games were brilliant. Great location between north and south coasts and many famous and wonderful places close by, think Eden, Lanhydrock, Bodmin and so forth… Very comfortable beds and three bedrooms benefitting from the extraordinary view, a great place to extend early morning tea in bed. Bonus contact with wildlife including deer, hares, swifts, swallows, all kinds of finches, a regular natural paradise. You’re off the beaten track and absolutely need a car but equally if you’re after a stroll you can go from the front door and see fields, sheep and deep forest within 15 minutes. Very quiet and peaceful.

Fantastic location with superb views and very quiet

Lovely house; great surroundings and facilities. The hot tub: superb. Our dog Ruby loves it and is always sad to be leaving, as we are!

we very much enjoyed staying at Robley Farmhouse which is ideally and centrally located for many attractions and places to visit in Cornwall. It is a comfortable house, well equipped and in a lovely peaceful location with a safe and secure garden.

Robley farmhouse is one of the most amazing holiday cottages which we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot over the years, it is very well equipped and very comfortable it’s like home from home, the views across the valley are just stunning, and having spent every day hiking different sections of the Cornish coastal paths to come back to the farmhouse and slip into the amazing hot tub was just heaven to soothe away the aches and pains ??. So thank you all at classic cottages, and also the owners for a very memorable holiday at Robley farmhouse, and not forgetting the house keeper who does the most amazing job looking after the property to a very high standard. This is a stunning holiday home and their inclusion of dogs was really heartwarming. The area itself is well set back from any main roads which did mean having a car for this stay is absolutely essential, but also meant it was blissfully quiet. The view from all areas of the property are stunning and relaxing in the hottub looking out over open fields and woodland was wonderful. The house was really well equipped (no steamer that we could find so bare that in mind if you’re planning to cook veg) and very prettily decorated with lots of little Cornish themed trinkets around the house. We’d definitely go back there.

The house is tucked away in the countryside, very quite and has beautiful views. However it’s still only 10 minutes to the supermarkets in Bodmin and convenient for exploring the moor and both north and south coasts. It’s well equipped kitchen / diner has a lovely range, and in good weather, there is easy access to the patio for outside eating. The hot tub was very welcome after a day of walking and surfing. The two main bedrooms were very comfortable. Overall, we had a lovely stay and will have this on our short list for next year.

Wonderful cottage in a great location within easy access of plenty of places. Cottage was clean and tidy and very well equipped. Hot tub was a great addition.

We have just had a wonderfully relaxing and happy stay at Robley Farmhouse. The property is very isolated which we loved and roughly a mile away from a public road. The house is very well equipped and clean. Beds are wonderful and comfortable. The outside was totally perfect for us and our dog. We have just booked to return next year and we can’t wait.

It felt like a real family home with lots of space and comfort to make you feel relaxed instantly. We are having a big photo printed to put up the wall in our bedroom at home with your window with the view…. Cant do without anymore!! We also rebooked straight away for next year. We had an amazing stay at Robley Farmhouse, the pictures are good but the real thing is even better, stunning views and centrally located for visits to both coasts and great walks out from the property. So peaceful and quiet we completely switched off and relaxed. The property is very well equipped, there was nothing we needed that wasn't there, very clean with very comfortable beds and furniture. We were very lucky with the weather 10 days of sunshine and G&T's in the garden every evening in March, it was perfect, we would walk or head out to visit nearby places like Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Fowey, Mevagissey then back mid afternoon to relax and read in the lovely garden then hop in the Jacuzzi early evening for a relax before dinner, would definitely recommend staying here, even if the weather isn't great sitting looking out of the huge windows at the view was amazing, loved the sofa at the end of the bed a great look out spot. This was our second stay at the farmhouse as we had such a lovely time here before. Great location with the most stunning views. You definitely feel calm and a sense of peace and tranquillity staying here. Well equipped house with lots of thoughtful items for children. Thank you.

A comfortable, spacious well equipped house in a beautiful location and so convenient for many of Cornwall's attractions, if you can bear to tear yourself away!

Well equipped, spacious and comfortable with good location for exploring both north and south coast of Cornwall. I would definitely recommend staying here for families or friends. If you want a place away from it all this is the one.

We had a wonderful 5 days in the cottage and it exceeded our expectations. My husband says it was the best cottage he’s ever stayed in in the UK. Perfect to relax, unwind, and explore Cornwall. Will definitely be recommending and also booking more classic cottages. This experience was fabulous.

We're in the middle of nowhere as my 3 year old granddaughter put it when she looked out of the window but Bodmin only 15 min drive (if that) to big supermarkets. We all loved the middle of nowhere!

We had a lovely time at Robley Farmhouse. The house is very well equipped for two families. The hot tub was an excellent addition. The house is well located for lots of activites e.g Eden Project, Lost Gardens, North and South coast beaches. We would definately recommend this property.

My family and I have just returned from a week stay at Robley Farmhouse and I've not felt this relaxed in months. The layout of the house, the facilities, the outdoor space and views are perfect for escaping away from busy everyday life. My children had so much fun exploring the garden and the toy boxes in the shed. It was a perfect touch. We used the house as a base to explore the beautiful Cornwall coast and I feel the location was great for this - private but close enough to access north and south coast with ease.
