Our hosts were incredibly helpful and there to greet us after a long journey. The cottage was very comfortable and warm with a well stocked kitchen , everything that we could have wished for.
Mr Gales
We have been visiting this part of Cornwall for over 20 years and this cottageās location is probably one of the best we have been to.
Mr Coley

First things first; when putting the address in the sat nav just put the postcode in don't put the whole address in like I did, as it sends you an hour and a half away from the property to another property that has the same name. I used google maps and it looks like its sending you to the middle of nowhere as there is no pictures anywhere of the property and all's it shows you is the surrounding area so it can be confusing (with the postcode only) but it knows where it's going. Whereas, if you put the whole address in on google maps it brings up pictures of another place called the dairy but that's in Bude so don't go there. Took me 9 hours from Liverpool it was a Saturday and it was a bank holiday. Also, to get into the property it tells you to take a sharp left up a hill you have to put your foot down to get up said hill. Furthermore, if you're not a confident driver don't go, the surrounding area is all farmland and single lanes, and if a tractor comes which it did nearly everyday while I was there you have to reverse back to let them through and its tight. I am used to city driving and its very different. You need a car to get to places everywhere is about 30 minutes away which was fine for me as I enjoyed going out and coming back to the quiet of the farm. So many things to see and do I didn't get the chance to do everything I wanted. Lots of walking and stunning views. Very dog friendly, beaches are beautiful very picturesque. Polperro was lovely with its own beach, lovely fish and a boat trip. You need to plan and get up early to go to places as parking is limited and it can get busy. Take essentials with you. You also have to pre-book places i.e adventure places, restaurants, the Eden project etc. You can eat out or eat in I didn't think the food, coffee or dining out was expensive. The only thing I found expensive was the petrol it was lot more expensive than back at home so fill your tank up. There's a spa about ten minutes away in the local village sells everything you need and the locals are nice. Also, there's a Morrisons, Aldi, b&m about 20 minutes away. The cottage itself was very clean, cozy, and modern and very spacious. Towels nice clean, white and fluffy in the bathroom. Shower very easy to use just flip the switch on the wall. The bathroom is in the bedroom as an ensuite. Kitchen very modern, and very clean on arrival. All appliances very easy to use if you wanted to cook every night you could. There's a table in Living Room to sit at and eat your food. The couch was comfortable, a small television you can log into your Netflix if you like, also internet if needed. French doors that lead out with a table and chairs and a beautiful view that you could look at all day. You can sometimes hear the animals of a morning and night. I watched the farmer herding the sheep one morning while relaxing. You can also walk the land if you like. Some cute little extras for the dog when we arrived which was a lovely touch

Despite the weather not being so good we had a great relaxing stay at the dairy and the friendly owners were nearby to deal with any issues or have a chat with about the local area. The cottage is very comfortable and cosy and provides a great view to look out on each day and a good nights sleep is guaranteed with the comfy bed and quiet location. We would have no hesitation in staying here again when we are back in this area of the country.
Mr Holkham
Very much enjoyed our stay , everything of a very good standard . The Country side is beautiful around Barton farm and very peaceful . I would highly recommend this and the other cottages on the site. Every thing in the cottage seemed to be thought of including some very nice complementary Cookies on arrival. Barton is a great location for both the Southern Cornish coast as well as Bodmin moor and not too far from the North coast Around Padstow.
Mrs Barter
This is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It was spotless and everything was provided that you would need. The bed was very comfortable. There were little extras which were appreciated. We planned to take our dog but then left her with a friend. There was a bowl, towel and biscuits left for the dog which was a great touch. The owner told me to contact Classic Cottages for a refund. I emailed when home and the £38 I paid for the dog was refunded straight away. Great service.
Mrs Montgomery
A gem of a place with the tranquility we were looking for. Great hosts, would thoroughly recommend and hope to return again.
Mrs Boyes
Delightful property. Ideal for two. Our dogs loved the place too. We were made very welcome
Mrs Price
Very homely. Beautiful surroundings & views. So quiet. Clean. Lovely hosts. Shower excellent. Felt really relaxed here. Own patio with bistro set was perfect. No ironing board in the property. A mini ironing board would be useful (e.g stored in wardrobe?) I took my own travel iron. A real log burner would be a lovely future addition too. Had to turn the mattress as it slumped on my side but was much better after that. Would definitely like to return one day.
Mrs Gadsby
The Dairy is set in a pretty courtyard down quiet, narrow leafy lanes. No nearby roads or passing traffic, so incredibly peaceful, just the deafening sound of birdsong. There is so much to do and see if the local area. We enjoy walking and had plenty of opportunity on the coast, moors, rivers and woods. Also National Trust houses Lanydrock and Cotehele nearby. Such a beautiful and diverse area, we had a fabulous holiday and were sad to leave. Our cottage was clean and comfortable with all we needed to self-cater, although quite small it felt spacious and had a little sitting out area to enjoy a morning cuppa and evening glass of wine. The local Spa does tasty 'Cook' meals if you want an easy night in. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and although there are other holiday cottages on the site , it had a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It would be nice to return and try one of the other cottages if visiting the area again.
Mr Gollop
