Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed at this property.

Mrs Heller

Ocean View is a fantastic place for absolutely relaxed holidays. The property exceeded our expectations by far. It was much bigger and immaculately clean. The deck was huge with modern furniture, the hot tub new and exactly the right temperature. The garden with palm and olive trees added to the magnificent views and surroundigs. There are some steep steps to the backdoor, also inside the house to reach the second bedroom but oh it`s so worth it! Views are to die for. Waking up to the crashing sound of the waves and watching sunrise every morning - stunning! The kitchen is perfectly equipped with lots of dishes, glasses etc. We also found tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar. Everything you need to settle in comfortably. There are comfortable chairs everywhere and a large sofa along with an electrical fireplace. There was absolutely nothing we missed here and we enjoyed a wonderful week. Only sad thing was having to leave.... Thank you, Assumpta and Classic Cottages for your perfect service!

Mrs Rose

If you like stylish and modern combined with a homey, romantic atmosphere, then you won’t be disappointed with Ocean View! This far exceeded our expectations and we felt the hosts went that extra mile to think of every detail to make our stay a truly memorable experience! It was immaculate from ‘top to toe’, equipped with everything we could need, and quite simply beautiful in every way.

Mr Clutton

Easy website to search for properties to visit and I’ve already recommended your website to friends

Mrs Wardley

Ocean view is a very very special place to stay. Everything is perfect from the welcome cream tea to the views! Very comfy beds and calming decor. We will be back!

Mrs Kerr

Absolutely loved the cottage the views were to die for the cottage was well equipped and spotless The scones were delicious, loved seeing the peacocks at the back of the property Definitely take the advice on the directions NOT to use your sat nav when you get near ?? Can recommend the Copley arms to eat And so dog friendly

Mr Fleming

Super comfortable accommodation, well equipped including everything you could possibly need……fab hot tub with amazing views………..all with a dog friendly beach yards away….perfect!! ??????????

Mrs Cyprus

Quite simply it’s beautiful, stunning, amazing….. previous reviews all totally accurate. Yet another Classic Cottages winner, we don’t book with anyone else anymore, I guess that says it all. We had a wonderful holiday, thank you.

Mrs Leadbetter

Lovely cottage, with everything you need. Hot tub was clean. Lovely welcoming gifts ,beautiful flowers and home made scones. Very beautiful views from the windows and from the hot tub. So peaceful and can hear the ocean. Comfy beds and sofa's. The Smugglers Inn is just a walk away. The food is good too. Plus very dog friendly. No shop in Seaton or the village near by.

Mr Walters

We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean View. The house was clean and well equipped. The views are just excellent from almost anywhere in the house. One of the best holiday rentals we have stayed at.

Mr Shroeder

Ocean View definitely has the wow factor. It is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed, everything was spotless & the attention to detail was 1st class. Very well equipped & super comfy beds. Very much appreciated the fizz, flowers & scones upon our arrival & our dogs loved their treats too!! The location is good & the view is amazing. We enjoyed the beach every day with our dogs & the local cafe/restaurant was good too. The hot tub was much appreciated after a chilly wet walk or sea swim. The coast path walk to Looe is recommended (4 miles) with fish & chips as a reward at the end, Looe is nice & has good shops & cafes. We didn’t find the steps (as in previous comments) too bad especially if you park your car at the top. Special mention goes to Assumpta & Seth(housekeeping )for very quickly resolving an issue on our 1st day & for looking after us so well afterwards . We will 100% be returning to Ocean View, we’ve already starting looking for suitable dates later in the year, says it all really. Thank you again Classic Cottages for another gem to add to our favourites list

Mr Edmunds

We have rented numerous properties across the UK for short and long breaks. The standard and cleanliness of this property far outweighs anything we have stayed at previously. We were also impressed at the minor things, like cleaning products and even foil for cooking. Will be booking again for sure. This property has views to behold and the cottage is finished to a very high standard.

Mrs Crabtree

Perfect paradise away from it all. Stunning location and a real home away from home. Local amenitieS, pub and beach cafe/ restaurant in easy walking distance and offered good value. Beach was perfect, clean and safe and easy access to attractions nearby. Would definitely return.

Already on arrival there was a first highlight and that was the extremely friendly impression The well-furnished and bright property. When entering the apartment, it was immediately noticeable that we were received with great attention to detail. There were flowers on the table, homemade scones and even a bottle of Prosecco was chilled for us in the fridge. The terrace is the real hammer.A wonderful view of the sea is the highlight here, as is the hot tub, which is used almost every day in Gebr

Mrs Burns

Just had a week in October with lovely weather fabulous property shared by 2 couples with plenty of room everything you could need has been thought of the decked area on the front of the property is a brilliant space to enjoy . The housekeeper left the house spotless with homemade scones and a welcome pack for us on arrival she was also really helpful with recommendations for places to eat and visit . The steps to the property are steep it but worth it for the view . 10/10 would definitely visit again

Mr Forrest

Stunning place with stunning views definitely will be back thank you .

Mrs Moss

Absolutely stunning cottage with amazing views Everything is thought of to make your holiday perfect ...comfy sofa, comfy beds, little touches such as home made scones fresh flowers and a chilled bottle of prosecco waiting for us on arrival was just amazing and so appreciated after our long drive We used the hot tub daily and outdoor seating was great as the weather was so hot during our stay We also took advantage of the BBQ which was great

Ms Northend

The house has the wow factor. The view is amazing. Everything has been thought of. Beds are very comfortable. Utility room with a washer and dryer was so useful. TV is provided in each room and Alexa. Great terrace furniture, BBQ, hot tub. Everything was totally spotless. We arrived to find tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bottle of wine, freshly made scones, jam, clotted cream and fresh flowers. We would highly recommend and would love to return. The beach is lovely with a couple of places to eat and we really enjoyed the walk along the beach to the next village which as a few small shops. There are some quite steep steps to the property which took a bit of getting used to but it was worth it for the position of the house overlooking the sea.

Mrs Wright

Stunning views, well equipped and very comfortable

Mr Forse

Beautiful location with views over the sea and Seaton Beach from the large deck area. Lovely to sit and relax in the hot tub whilst enjoying the scenery. The property is well laid out and exceptionally well equipped. Great location for exploring the southern Cornwall and Devon coasts.

Mrs Mundell

I would say doing an honest glowing review is a bit like giving away your babysitter’s number ! That said … it’s only fair that other people get to experience a slice of paradise too x

Mrs Heywood-Holt

The house was as exactly as described. it was spotlessly clean and the beds and sitting area were comfy. Everything had been thought about for your stay at the house. the views from the patio area were wonderful and so relaxing. The welcome cream tea was very much appreciated and a lovely surprise. would definitely recommend this property and classic cottages. you will not be dissappointed

Mrs Haynes

Beautiful property with lovely furnishings, spotlessly clean, comfy beds & sofa. Views are amazing which makes up for all the steps! A top quality holiday cottage. Seaton is a great base for exploring the lovely close towns, dogs loved the beach. Local Pub is ok but this quality of cottage deserves better. Best place we ate all week was Sams in Fowey, highly recommend. Only grumble is found lane & parking a bit tight for a BMW X5.

Dr Tippett

This is a delightful and extremely comfortable holiday let with the highest standards of furnishing and equipment. It is however totally unsuitable for anyone with any mobility impairment or young children, the risk of falls on the access steps is significant, there is no way a buggy can access the property unless carried folded up and taken up or down 30 + or 50+ steep narrow steps , depending on whether you use the top or bottom car parking area. Neither parking area is big enough for more then one average to large sized vehicle Drivers using the property need to be familiar with driving on unmade up roads and managing and reversing back along , narrow Cornish lanes. This property is best suited to adult guests and older children who all have a reasonable degree of physical fitness and their driver is experienced and capable. If you need walking aids or have balance issues this place is sadly not for you. There are no shops in easy walking distance, so you need to bring everything with you. The housekeeper is brilliant and helpful and provides the most delicious home made scones for your arrival.

Mrs Cutler

Overall property is beautiful view is amazing, but not for the infirm.

Mr Chadwick

Fantastic seaside home ! When you are in Ocean View you feel like you are on the bridge of a ship sailing out to sea , the views are amazing. Lovely place to rest , Assumpta’s home made scones were delicious. I would definitely recommend Ocean View !!
