What a delightful getaway this is, set down a tree-lined lane amid the tranquility of beautiful countryside. With rustling leaves and birdsong as a background lullaby, you will relax and unwind in no time at all. Lee Cottage is a single-storey barn conversion, light-filled and facing out over its own secluded garden.

There is a big open plan living-room with archways leading through to the garden room, running the length of the cottage, so plenty of space to spread out.

This tucked-away corner of Cornwall is less well-known, but with countryside all around and the beautiful south coast close by, this is a lovely location. Lee Cottage is perfect for families, couples and dog walkers, with woodland and coastal footpaths, superb beaches and easy access to good roads for exploring further afield.

After days out and about, you'll love returning home and relaxing in the garden to the sound of birdsong or in front of the warming wood-burner in cooler months.

The friendly owners live across the courtyard and are happy to welcome you and offer advice if requested but equally happy to leave you to yourselves so you can relax in peace and quiet. The owners' two friendly dogs will come to say hello when you arrive, offering a warm welcome of their own!

Wonderful location as a base to explore the area. The view from Lee cottage is outstanding Would highly recommend this place !!

Mr Buehne

We stayed 10 days and used it as basis for trips into the surroundings. It's very remote and quiet but fully equipped with a beautiful setting and landscape. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed every single day.

Mr Calder

It was a lovely stay at Lee Cottage lovely and clean, comfortable and in a great location. Had everything needed in the kitchen a regular home from home, beds were pretty comfy to. Throughly enjoyed our stay.

Miss Huish

Lee Cottage was the perfect place for our family holiday. Beautiful cottage with stunning views, fully equipped and beautifully styled. Lovely helpful hosts and would definitely visit again for a Cornwall holiday!

Miss Gauci

Owners are lovely and the cottage couldn’t be any better equipped. The views are fantastic and ideal for a quiet holiday. Well positioned for exploring the whole of Cornwall.

Mrs Mitchell

This is a lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful rural setting. Lovely views from the conservatory across rolling countryside, extremely peaceful with great dog walking right from the door. The cottage is equipped really well and the beds are very comfy. The owners are really lovely and could not have been more accommodating, friendly and helpful. It’s a great area to visit with lots do do for all ages and some great places to eat out. We definitely hope to return.

Mr Hoad

Great cottage, really suited to our expectations and requirements. I can't see anyone being disappointed so long as they read the description. This cottage is tucked away and in someway remote, however, if you're looking for a 'real get away from it all' experience this could be it

Mr Rich

If looking to de-stress in a quiet peaceful location, this is it!

Mr Austin

Disappointing

Mr Allibone

Peaceful location, cottage didn't want for anything. Owners were friendly and very helpful.

Mrs Hodgson

Wonderful stay at Lee Cottage. Laura and Tim were fabulous hosts, welcoming us on our day of our arrival and checking in making sure everything was OK. Cottage itself was perfect and everything we required and an added bonus we had a lovely view of the surrounding country side and donkeys which made our little one very happy!

Mr Surplice

The Cottage was excellent in every respect with ample room for 4 adults and a small dog that enjoyed life in the large conservatory. The on-site owners were extremely welcoming yet not intrusive in anyway. The drive to the cottage was typically Cornwall but all part of the experience! All in all “ highly recommended “.

Mrs Richards

Maybe say the cottage is situated down a very narrow lane,so beware of oncoming traffic and drive carefully.

Mrs James

A very comfortable cottage in a lovely setting. Very narrow roads with passing places, but you soon get used to them!

Mrs Philpot

Very friendly and attentive owners of the cottage. Welcome gift of homemade cookies were a lovely touch. Cottage is beautiful, and has everything you need. Lovely location and beautiful views. Would definitely stay here again.

Miss Robinson

Beautiful and comfortable cottage in a stunning, tranquil setting. We really enjoyed our stay. It's good to be aware that the garden isn't enclosed, so bear this in mind if bringing dogs.

Mr Miller

Tim & Laura (owners) very welcoming as always, cottage perfect in every way, luxury at its very best, Views from conservatory absolutely stunning cant wait for another stay in our favorite location. Keith & Jackie Miller and Chester the Boxer Dog.

Mr Taylor

Really can't praise this cottage highly enough. We received a warm welcome from the owners, who were always on hand but not intrusive at all. Because we had a fairly hectic schedule, our one regret is not spending more time in the cottage itself - it's absolutely gorgeous, and we, our kids (and dog!) loved every second of being there. The kids are already asking when we can go back.

Mrs Saunders

Really lovely place to stay. Lots of great views. Peace and quiet. Plenty of wildlife. Great dog walks. Everything you need to hand. We would definitely go back again. Welcoming hosts. Exactly what we wanted in a holiday home.

Mrs Raison

Lee cottage is very clean, warm, cosy, lovely views & owners Laura & Tim great hosts very friendly.

Dr Jones

Very useful large panoramic conservatory and surprisingly good mobile phone coverage on Vodafone and O2

Mrs Walton

Wonderful cottage in a beautiful location - I would highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing family break

Mrs Knight

We felt that the particular care has been taken with the cleanliness and hygiene precautions required because of the pandemic. The cottage completely met our expectations. This is somewhere very special and rural, where it is possible to escape and enjoy tranquility. The friendly owners live on site and are available to give suggestions of places to visit depending on your requirements. We hope to return!

Miss Thomas

A beautiful cottage - delightfully decorated, immaculately presented, well-stocked with amenities and spotlessly clean. A lovely tranquil and relaxing setting and very helpful and friendly owners. In terms of our booking - this was all very easy and efficient, questions were answered swiftly, helpful information was provided and we felt very confident booking with you, especially in these times of Covid. Thank you very much.

Mrs Styles

Very peaceful, lovely views across the open countryside, we did not see any deer but evidently they are quite often seen in the field at the back of the cottage, wonderful bird song and very inquisitive squirrels!!

Mr Miller

The 3rd Visit - cant wait for the fourth in November, Faultless,

Mr Hoad

The Owners are on site, they are so welcoming and helpful. This is a wonderful cottage with plenty of space around. The location is remote but that's part of the charm (don't be put off by this, once you get your bearings it's easy to get around and there's little traffic you'll meet on the lanes). We had a wonderful time during our stay and happy to stay around the cottage if we didn't fancy going anywhere.

Mrs Peart

The property exceeded our expections . It was spotlessly clean and the conservatory in particular was delightful - especially since we had poor weather and were not able to use the outdoor facilities. The dog walk to the bluebell woods was much appreciated. Our hosts were very pleasant and helpful.

Mr Vallis

Great location, everything on-site or to-hand, no need to venture out (provided you take your own food, although the owners did say 'takeaways' knew the location!). Alternatively, the glorious coastline is only a short(ish) drive away.

Ms Weston

The property is fantastic, certainly the cleanest cottage we have ever arrived at. It is well equipped, the space is well planned, the fittings and furniture high quality and well maintained. The shower is amazing (we live in a hard water area!) Laura & Tim (the owners) were welcoming, chatted when we had the opportunity, but (and this is the important bit) were in no way intrusive. They had other guests staying (they have four properties to let) and we felt like we had it to ourselves, with our two dogs, we had the best week. Thank you so much all for helping us to enjoy our week away. We are hopefully returning with friends/ family when times allow, and take a number of the cottages. The beautiful Golitha Falls are just a short drive away, we found Seaton beach lovely, and the stunning fishing village of Polperro is also a short drive: try the Three Pilchards for a warm welcome and great food at Polperro, and also The Plough at Duloe; again fantastic service, and a great Sunday roast.

Dr Letcher

Very well organized. Welcoming owners who were always ready to give advice which was always useful. We had a wonderful stay and loved the cottage. It was a good starting off pint for many tourist sites. It was quiet and we had very restful stay.

Mr Lowe

A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay at this lovely cottage. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well equipped with the bonus of the conservatory. There are some narrow lanes on the approach to the cottage. If you stick to the route given, then the sightlines are good, there are plenty of passing places and it is well worth the drive. In these Socially distanced times, Laura and Tim and the dogs were friendly and welcoming hosts and always had time for a chat.

Miss Crofts

Beautiful property and Laura and tim where lovely at all times throughout our stay!

Mrs Byrne

A lovely property for a break. So peaceful and an added bonus of having a garden. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Although you are well into the country, you are only about 15 minutes from Liskeard, so very handy. The owners were very helpful and their land and woods are great for a walk. The donkeys in the neighbouring field were very sweet!

Mr Miller

2nd Visit - AWESOME our 1st time with our new dog, with gorgeous walks from the back door, Dog Biscuits, Towel and Bowl all provided attention to detail for your four legged member of the family 100 %. The owners Tim & Laura go out of there way to make you feel welcome and at home. Tranquil, peaceful a home from home, we can recommend this property for a amazing getaway, you wont be disappointed, Can't wait for the next return to Lee Cottage. Keith & Jackie Miller & Oakley Boxer Dog.

Dr Farrance

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at lee cottage. It was in a beautiful setting and gave us the relaxation we wanted for a few days. The cottage was even better than in the pictures! Beautifully decorated and furnished. Very clean and everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would love to return. Thank you

Mrs Laxton

Lovely setting. Ths cottage was very home from home and had all the comforts to make a perfect relaxing holiday.

Ms Vincent

Just simply perfect. We would highly recommend this to everyone. So rural and peaceful. We loved everything about our stay. Massive thankyou to our hosts Tim and Laura.

Mr Miller

What a gem - peace, tranquillity - absolutely perfect. A Home from home. The owners are very warm and welcoming, Faultless in every way.

Ms Goss

A lovely cottage with very helpful owners. A great location for touring South-East Cornwall.. and beyond. We enjoyed our break very much - even with the wind and rainstorms.

Mr Mason

Very friendly, hospitality and jolly nice people. Found it very difficult to find, but a great out the way retreat.

Mr Eppink

Like I said before. If you're want to have a quiet place to stay and you're not that pleasure loving person. This is the place to be. We staid several days just in and around the cottage. Loved every day of it! We have staid in different cottages the past 22 years. This one is by far most the best due to the quietness. In equipment it's not the top, we had better (more expensive) ones. But hey, what do you need during your holiday.

Mr Hudson

Lovely cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive. We all really enjoyed our stay, and hope to come again. Next time we will bring our dog as he would love it!

Mr Rubery

We have just spent an excellent week in Lee Cottage. A beautifully furnished, spacious and fully equipped property set in an exquisite location. The owners were always on hand if you needed anything but fully respected our privacy. The local walks from the back garden revealed some breathtaking views, not to mention the donkeys which loved a carrot or two !!! The location was excellent and would recommend Polperro, looe, Fowey and Falmouth (Pendennis Castle) as places to visit.

Ms Newton

One of the best holiday cottages we've stayed in; warm and comfortable, very quiet even with other cottages nearby. High standard of fittings and furnishings and very clean. Really good shower. Plenty of space for 4 people. Hard floors throughout so bring slippers. Conservatory a great bonus. Lovely views, nice garden, pleasant walk directly from cottage door alongside fields and down to woods. Owners friendly and welcomed us with home made cookies. We would be very happy to stay again if we returned to the area.

Mr Huckle

The location of this cottage was great for exploring the local area, it was very comfortable with fantastic views over the valley. The owners Tim & Laura were very welcoming & helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & look forward to returning.

Mr Hanson

Excellent cottage, beautiful setting and a very warm welcome!

Mrs Gregory

Absolutely wonderful cottage, fitted to a very high standard with everything you could possibly need in a self catering property. Very friendly and welcoming owners, would most definitely recommend and hope to be back soon.

Ms Chan

Don't follow Sat Nav instructions on your first drive to the cottage as it takes you to a different cottage, instead, follow written instructions from Classic Cottages. Once you get your bearings, using the post code will take you to the correct vicinity.

Mr Wright

Beautiful rural location high property standards everything you need within the cottage helpful non intrusive hosts

Mrs Maybank

Well equipped cottage, owners are excellent hosts. Great location for visiting National Trust properties and nearby seaside towns.

Miss Humphries

Lee cottage is very spacious, beautifully furnished and very restful. Tim and Laura are great hosts and always ready to help if needed. Lovely home made cookies on arrival. I would have no hesitation in recommending any of the properties on Lee Barton Farm.

Mrs Chapple

We had a lovely week at Lee Cottage - the homemade cookies and the jar of dog treats were a nice welcoming touch. The location is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing and the cottage spacious and comfortable. We would recommend Lee Cottage to anyone looking for a base in Cornwall away from the hustle and bustle.

Mr Lowing

Stunning location lovely owners very comfortable spacious clean and easy access to explore the cornish coast or country a true gem

Mr Brine

Loads of room for a family of four. Beautiful walks and countryside/beaches nearby. Excellent hosts who looked after us - amazing homemade cookies waiting for us on arrival was a nice touch.

Mrs Muldoon

Lee Cottage exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful little gem in the heart of the Cornish countryside. It is clear the owners have put a lot of thought into the decor and personal touches around the cottage. The weather was poor during our stay, so we had to spend a lot more time than usual indoors and it was a real home from home. We loved the conservatory and the piano and the beds were so comfortable. We were disappointed we didnt get to explore the gardens as they looked lovely and secluded. Highly recommend!

Mrs Biryulina

Rural location within an easy reach of the coast and Bodmin Moor.
