Carwin takes full advantage of its reversed level layout with splendid double doors opening onto a Juliet balcony at the end of the cosy living space on the top floor. The super stylish kitchen with its huge central island, will delight the chefs in the group and there's oodles of storage for your delicious, locally-sourced ingredients. Start your day with a warm croissant and a welcome cuppa perched at the delightful breakfast-bar, enjoying the bird's eye view out over the surroundings with glimpses of the sea in the distance.
Leading off from the dining-area on the top floor is the fabulous, sheltered terrace which offers a superb spot to enjoy the sun in the company of a good book. When you start to feel peckish, fire up the barbecue and enjoy a wonderful al fresco dining experience on the gorgeous, raised decking area complete with a sheltered dining-table and chairs.
Downstairs on the first floor are three bedrooms, all with lavish, inviting king-size beds. One with double doors onto a Juliet balcony and another with an en suite shower, the perfect place to refresh yourself after a great night's sleep. Here you will also find the family bathroom, home to a separate shower and freestanding double ended bath, inviting you to pour in some bubbles and enjoy a lazy holiday soak. Two more bedrooms are on the ground floor, along with a huge wet-room ideal for rinsing off sandy bodies after a long day on the beach whilst beach towels and wetsuits can be hung up to dry in the large utility-room. For those who need to catch up on some emails or work whilst away or want some quite time away from the group catching up on your favourite, there's even a separate snug/office.

Mr Crossley
Lovely 10 days away in Carwin. Property was perfect for a family of 7 with dogs. Location was excellent really close to the beach. The house is a lot bigger than the pictures and so clean. Would definitely recommend staying at Carwin
Mrs Payne
A very comfortable stay in a spacious house a few minutes from the beach. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped. Lots of bathrooms! Seaton is really well located for travelling around Cornwall. The local beach bar and pub are lovely. Nice coastal walks from the doorstep.
Mrs Jakeway
Great location very close to excellent local facilities. Lovely welcome provisions for cream tea and fresh flowers nice touch. Very clean & spacious accommodation.
mrs DENTON
The house was excellent. Spotlessly clean, very well stocked with glasses/tablewear etc and very comfortable with beautiful furnishings etc The beds were comfortable and its a very spacious house. Each floor has its own bathroom which is perfect if you're staying with another family as you get your own privacy. We loved the house. There is no pathway directly outside the property and for about 50 meters up the road. This means that you're walking in the road when you first leave the house. This was ok for us but I would worry if I was using a pushchair or had small children with me. The property is in easy walking distance to the beach/cafes etc The garden area does need some TLC. Upon arrival we had to sweep it, the leaves were covering the floor, we had to get rid of cobwebs and generally make the garden tidy enough to sit in. However, there are garden seats and it did get a lot of sunshine up until around 2pm. There is a BBQ and its very peaceful. Overall I would recommend and revisit this property and location. Perfect for beach walks and strolls to the local eateries.
Mr Reed
Excellent location with a year-round dog friendly beach on the doorstep and perfect base to explore the South Coast villages and towns of Looe, Fowey, Polperro and Cawsand/Kingsand which are all within a short drive and with some fantastic pubs and restaurants. The house was spacious and well equipped with large bedrooms, comfy beds and a huge kitchen. The ground floor wet room and drying room were just what you need after a long dog walk along the beach and the office/snug was perfect for a few hours of work at the end of the day. The double garage was also handy for storing our bikes so this cottage worked really well for us and we had a great time and would certainly consider coming back again to Carwin.
Mr Mitchell
The house was very comfortable and well equipped.
Mr Taylor
Carwin is cleverly designed, so spacious, but at the same time feels warm and cosy with a lovely, homely feel. It has everything you need for the very best dog inclusive family holiday. The kitchen is amazing as are the bedrooms (very large and comfortable). The beach is obviously on your doorstep but the nature trail walk along the river up to Hessenford (and The Copley Arms for Lunch) was beautiful. The outside lights were very pretty, and we had one afternoon/evening warm enough to eat alfresco under the Gazebo which would be fantastic in the Summer for BBQ’s. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again!
Mr Gilbert
Fantastic place, spacious and comfortable with the beach a five-minute walk away, which is visible from the lounge and kitchen on the top floor, but you know it’s close as you can hear the sea when its windy! Whilst there were only three of us, this would be a great place for a large family gathering. Highly recommended!
mrs parkinson
Very nice place to stay, quiet area, beach lovely and a great walking area. The house was great for the 6 of us having our own rooms, you need a car to get around the area as there isnt a local shop in walking distance.
Mrs Murphy
Very disaapointed in this house. Website implies luxury. Sunny terrace ??? - no sun after 2.30 pm. Phone call day before arrival to say internet not working and no mobile phone signal at house. This is not mentioned on the website or on arrival information. Woken early first morning by BT engineer. Not told he was coming. Decking not swept. Leaves everywhere. Opened storage box for garden cusions - cobwebs, spiders, snails and damp cushions. Gazebo - cobwebs everywhere. Had not been cleaned. Only 1 white bath towel each for a weeks stay - had to wash them. No washing powder.
