If you love the sound of birdsong and a wonderfully peaceful rural location, Barn Owl Cottage is the perfect holiday home for you. Wind your way along the country lane that leads you to this charming semi-detached retreat yet with the beaches and coast just over a mile away an escape to Barn Owl Cottage really does offer the very best of both worlds.

Much thought has been given to the quality, furnishing and decor throughout, with the owner cleverly combining a mixture of old and new finds to create wonderful relaxing interiors that perfectly complement the gorgeous setting. And what a setting it is. Your private terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or lunch cooked up on the barbecue and the gardens are simply glorious with a large lawned area, play area, wildflower meadow and little orchard and plenty of places to sit out and enjoy the peace and beauty that surrounds. The gardens are shared with the neighbouring cottage Bumblebee Cottage (5016), ideal if you have friends who want to join you on holiday, but there is plenty of room for you to find your own private space.

We absolutely loved our stay, we worked from the cottage for the first few days and the wifi was very fast, something we were a little worried about! The cottage was so lovely, really nice decor and in such a peaceful location. Only comment was the TV was very small but would 100% recommend.

Barn owl cottage is the perfect place to stay. The children's bedroom is so pretty and there are even toys to play with. There is a box of outside play toys as well. A beautiful garden has swings. There is a washing line and a washing machine. A dishwasher is also provided and there were dishwasher tablets, a couple of teatowels and a pint of milk in the fridge. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds very comfy. Everything you need for a lovely holiday.

Nice cottage within easy distance by car from Looe and by foot from the south west coast path. Beautiful garden, cosy decorated and nice room for the children. Good value for your money.
