The Granary at Polwrath

We’ve stayed at this stunning property twice this year & it won’t be our last! It’s so peaceful & comfortable we’re already looking into when we can return. You can’t fault this beautiful place. Many thanks to the owners Fred & Donna.

The property was amazing and so much more amazing than the description and pictures showed. The hosts were lovely and friendly and even let us go into the property a little bit early after arriving after a long driver a bit earlier than expected. Nothing was too much trouble if we needed any support or had any questions and even had a chat with the couple one afternoon in the sunshine getting to know them a bit more. Such an amazing place and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Cornwall.

We chose this property for the pool and it was even better than we had hoped! A beautiful home with everything to an exceptionally high standard. We would love to stay here again.

We had an enjoyable & relaxing stay. The accommodation, grounds & gardens are presented & finished to a very high standard you cannot fault it! The Granary is absolutely stunning & the swimming pool is the icing on the cake, we’d go as far as saying this is the best property we’ve stayed in. We’d recommend this holiday to anyone, thank you Fred & Donna we’ll definitely visit again!!

We have stayed at Polwrath Granary for years and never disappointed. The location is peaceful, the swimming pool lovely and the barn is really comfortable. I do however have trouble justifying the summer rental cost.

Lovely property and beautiful surroundings, the owners seemed really nice and sorted our only problem very quickly. I cannot really fault this property and although it's slightly off the main roads this only makes it better.

Bedroom layout of one up two down was perfect for family with two seniors and two adults with three children. Pool was fantastic for a dip at the end of each day. Everything one could wish for

I have paid for “luxury” before (different company and area) and sadly been disappointed by the false advertising but this property “ The Granary” is genuinely a luxurious property that is exactly as shown, if not better. You will not be disappointed. Every detail has been thought of and supplied. It is spotlessly clean and warm. The beds are all very comfortable, with high quality bedding and pillows. The grounds are beautiful and spacious (we played a great game of hide and seek). The swimming pool is the absolute icing on the cake - clean, warm and a good size for getting some lengths in or playing with the kids. The location is great as there are lots of places to visit within a fairly short distance, but it is a quiet location away from the busy centres of tourism. I would highly recommend this property, it is well worth every penny as, in this case, you do get everything you pay for and more!

A beautiful cottage in Cornwall that boasts a private pool and lovely countryside views. My experience staying at this property during the February term was simply wonderful, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing retreat. The Granary at Polwrath is a stunning cottage that is beautifully decorated and very spacious, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. The private pool is a real highlight, and we had a fantastic time splashing around and enjoying the warm water. The views from the cottage are simply breath taking, and we enjoyed many lovely walks in the surrounding countryside during our stay. The cottage itself is very well equipped, with everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable during our stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had all the necessary appliances and utensils for preparing meals. We also appreciated the little touches, such as the welcome cake that was waiting for us when we arrived. Overall, I cannot recommend The Granary at Polwrath highly enough. It is a truly amazing property that is perfect for a relaxing and rejuvenating break in the beautiful Cornish countryside. Whether you are traveling with kids or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, this cottage is sure to exceed your expectations.

We had a wonderful week at The Granary at Polreath. The house was amazing and spotless. The swimming pool was a luxury. We could walk the dogs in the grounds, which the loved. Owners couldn’t have been more helpful but unobtrusive.

Excellent luxury accommodation. Pool a bonus. Nothing negative about this property. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Granary is exactly as pictured on the site. Just lovely in beautiful grounds. The pool area was fabulous, and warm, and the pool a comfortable temperature for swimming. Immaculately clean on arrival with everything you need. Felt as though we had our own private spa break would highly recommend and will certainly return.

Exceptionally picturesque and clean house in the countryside with well manicured gardens. Beautiful private pool with shower room. Equipped with all essentials required for a hassle-free holiday. Even our dog was provided with her own bed, blanket, food and water bowls and the most important doggy treats!

A superb property with all the amenities and swimming pool. Positive feedback from the whole family, not often easily achieved. A brilliant location, with really good tourist attractions within easy reach.

A great place for a holiday. The property, pool and grounds are all exceptional. Suits all ages and there are plenty of places of interest nearby provided you can finally get the children out of the pool!

We have just returned from a WONDERFUL stay at the beautiful Granary. We could not recommend this property enough from the amazing indoor pool to falling into one of the big, comfy beds at night. The property is immaculate and very well equipped with everything you could want and need for your holiday. We travelled with two young children and found that Fred and Donna had thought of everything from providing a travel cot to having a well placed stair gate. We will definitely be returning, thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We originally booked for 5 nights but enjoyed our stay so much we extended by a further 7 nights. We were very fortunate to be able to do this.

A beautiful house for a relaxing stay in quiet countryside. The indoor swimming pool is a big asset.

A spacious and very well equipped luxury property with a superb pool. Both pool and house were beautifully warm and welcoming in a rather wintry time of year. Donna was very helpful - and we enjoyed a brilliant break. The area around the property is really good for exploring and walking and the coast is never far away. Great pubs are close at hand. We had a fabulous time and would certainly consider a return trip if we are able.

We had a lovely time at The Granary. Property was clean, furnished to a very high standard and in a nice location.The pool was a wonderful addition. All of the showers were great and had excellent water pressure - including the fantastic pool shower room. The Granary is a very comfortable and spacious property. There are a few little quirky extras-remote control curtains in the living room and mood lighting in the beams (which we didn’t find until the day we left) The Owners were lovely - there if you needed them but not “in your face”.

If you want somewhere to stay where you can relax, swim and have a luxurious stay then this is the place for you. The grounds are wonderful especially for dogs. The swimming pool is fabulous. There are fabulous walks and beaches close by.

We had the most wonderful stay in July 2021 in this beautiful property. It is immaculately clean and spacious, beautifully decorated and offers real luxury (to a much higher standard that other UK based stays). The hosts are charming and welcomed our family with real hospitality - allowing them to roam into the extensive grounds to meet the horse, goat and chickens (they were even allowed to collect eggs). The landscape is extremely tranquil, and the location of the cottage is peaceful and quiet. The pool is a real treat - at nighttime, the lighting is quite magical. We ventured to the local pub, to various different beaches and to the local town, using the recommendations in the visitor book. This property will enable you to have a truly wonderful holiday. We will be booking again and are so thankful that we found it. Although the photos on the website are good, they can't represent how truly special this place is for a family holiday. We loved every minute of our stay there!

Excellent property, could not want for more, it's an ideal base for exploring Cornwall but honestly there is everything there you will need to keep occupied on those days when the weather is not good. The indoor pool is just the thing for those rainy days, I would thoroughly recommend this property and cannot wait to return.
