A mere hop, skip and a jump to the beach you'll find this gem of cottage waiting to welcome you. Nestled in the heart of Kingsand, an utterly charming village set right on the coast with pretty cottages huddled along a maze of narrow streets and alleyways, along with shops and galleries and a choice of places to eat and drink right on your doorstep it's a jackpot location for a great Cornish getaway for couples, families and your loyal pup too!

From the minute you step inside, you'll find yourself immediately immersed in the laid-back loveliness of this charming cottage. Surprisingly spacious the open plan living-room is furnished with style and comfort in mind, in tones and materials that reflect the coastal setting. The cottage kitchen with its homely wooden surfaces and fabulous larder cupboard is perfect for creating your holiday feasts all served up on the dining-table, but with so many places to eat and drink within walking distance and the local village shop only a few doors up the street selling yummy fresh pastries, I don't think there will be much cooking to be done!

The sitting-area beckons you to chill out and relax at the end of a great day in the beautiful corner of Cornwall, cosied up in front of the toasty wood-burner, making this a perfect retreat all year round.

Upstairs along with the shower-room there are two lovely bedrooms with vaulted ceilings creating a great sense of space. The main bedroom feels terribly romantic with its exposed beams and gorgeous bedstead and the second bedroom has a 'zip and link' bed which can be made up as twin beds or a king-size if you want to snuggle up together.

Beautiful cottage!!! Very well equipped, clean and cosy with the lovely wood burner. Additional touches were very much appreciated (Milk, coffee, tea, water, wine, biscuits, lovely flowers and much more). Will definitely stay again in the near future.

Mrs Jones

Very comfortable and well appointed cottage in a superb location. A wonderful stay

Mr Bayfield

We would highly recommend Classic for their seamless booking process and efficiency. We stayed in a beautiful cottage of the highest standard and were totally delighted. We plan to return as soon as we can. Little Stables is centrally located in the charming village of Kingsand. The cottage is very well appointed and beautifully decorated and furnished. We had a wonderful stay, thank you.

Mr Crocker

A very comfortable property in a delightful setting. Very well equipped. Enjoyed it so much we re-booked before we left. Great local pubs and small, peaceful beaches at both Cawsand and Kingsand. Good local bus service and many interesting places within very easy reach and Plymouth is only a short ferry trip away.

Mr Scholes

Well equipped cosy cottage in an excellent location. Kingsand and Cawsand are traditional charming Cornish villages with history and amenities. We will certainly return to this area.

Mrs Walton

Mr Summers

Excellent location close to beaches and village amenities. Comfortable cottage, smartly furnished.

Mr Roberts

Great location, ample space for couples or familyx4. You will not be disappointed. This visit we also took the train to St Ives from local St Germans station which I would recommend as it was cheap and no stress.

Mr Dawson

Thoroughly recommend a stay at Little Stables, perfect location and extremely comfortable and cosy.

Mr Bourne

A wonderful little bolt hole in the heart of a welcoming and charming Cornish village. The accommodation has some beautiful little touches and details that add to the extensive facilities within it. The owner hugely cares about her guests and goes the extra mile to ensure that your stay is a very special one. We’ve booked to return…again!

Mrs Whicher

We love this little cottage! The position is perfect. The village Spar is close by, the little village deli serving hot coffee, pasties and other delights is also just up the road, opposite the Halfway House Inn and car park. There are also three beaches, with the closest just a stones throw away, five pubs all serving food, a bakery and tea shop, a cafe, gift shop and lots of lovely walks to enjoy along the coast. What is there not to love? The cottage is very comfortable and caters for everything you might need. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms have ample storage. The cottage is dog friendly with the added bonuses of a Smart TV, fast internet, and a log burner for those cold winter evenings. It had everything we would need and we will return

Mrs Whicher

We have just got back from a wonderful week in this beautiful little cottage. It is perfectly positioned on Fore Street, a stones throw from the clock tower and beach. The shop and delicatessen are minutes away as are the five pubs in the villages, all within walking distance. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were also left Cornish tea, coffee and biscuits upon our arrival- and even a pack of dog chews for our mutt. We enjoyed lovely dog walks up on the Minnadhu and along the beach every day. The views of the villages and coastline right round to Plymouth Sound from there are breathtaking. The footpath takes you all around Rame point to Mount Edgcumbe house and grounds, and down to the Cremill foot ferry which runs daily into Plymouth. The cottage is perfectly positioned to access the wonderful coastline of this beautiful part of the world. We have already booked to return in September !

Miss Davies

Generally really liked the cottage and found it very well equipped and comfortable. King sized bed especially comfy! Location is superb, we loved how close we were to the beach, coastal walks and the amenities.

Mr Roberts

A lovely cottage in a great location. The quality of the fittings and fixtures is good. We can’t fault it.

Mrs de Prez

Little Stables is a comfortable, well equipped cottage in an excellent location. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Ms O’Reilly

We had a really wonderful stay at Little Stables. It’s a cosy, inviting and comfortable space, beautifully decorated, and great facilities. There’s everything you could possibly need in the kitchen – even an air fryer! The pub just a short stroll down the hill offers great food, as does the corner deli (delicious coffee, croissants and pasties!). The beach is also an easy stroll down the lane. We arrived tired and left replenished after sea, swimming, coast path walking and long lazy evenings by the log burner. This was the perfect out of season retreat. We are looking forward to booking again.

Mr Harvey

Little stables is a very well appointed cottage in the heart of the historic village of kingsand. It was clean and comfortable and the owner could not have been more helpful. The bed was really comfortable, the lounge very relaxing and the location so close to the pubs and beaches, made little stables the best place we have stayed at in kingsand in the 10 years we have been spending the winter half term there.

Mrs McCormack

We had a lovely week at Little Stables to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were so grateful to be accommodated there at short notice. The cottage was warm and cozy and very well equipped with comfortable bed and hot shower ! No outside space but very close to the harbour where we took our coffee in the morning. There are good pubs close by and a wonderful deli with fresh bread, pastries etc and a useful Spa just steps away. Kingsand is a lovely friendly village with so many walks around and about. Highly recommend the Cliff Top Cafe at Whitsand Bay too.

Mr Roberts

What a autumn retreat! Log burner after a chilly walk , just bliss. Not forgetting the mere 2 min walk to either pubs or shop!! Ideal

Ms Rufus

A pretty cottage that has been thoughtfully equipped and furnished and is ideal for a short or longer break in the picture postcard seaside village of Kingsand. No need to go anywhere else as it's within close reach of the beach, coastal paths, village shops and restaurants. Idyllic.

Mrs Ellis-Baker

A perfect place for two and our pooch with the owner going above and beyond to think of all the little things that might be needed to really enjoy a place, often missed in other self-catering places. There was a quality fridge freezer with plenty of space for all our 11 day needs, a quality, easy-to-use cooker and even sharp knives. The property is situated down a narrow main route through the little town and parking is about 200 metres away. The town itself is compact, friendly with excellent pubs serving quality food. This is a place where there is a strong residential presence and the community are friendly to each other and tourists alike. The Kingsand bay is quite sheltered leaving no excuse not to join the local "bluetits" with an early morning swim. We tried it a few times at Kingsands just in front of the Devonport Inn, which has to be one of my most favourite pubs ever. Even in September, we found ourselves fighting for a table. This Inn was also "Kevin's" favourite pub, and sitting outside on the tin chairs overlooking the bay, a drink or two on a tray attached to the railings watching the sun go down, Kevin retrieved his ball and brought it back to anyone who would throw it over onto the beach. He did this non-stop for hours, maybe longer. we'd gone before he gave up. A very friendly town.

Mrs Lidstone

A perfect little cottage - clean, cosy and dog friendly! Perfectly situated for lovely walks. We particularly enjoyed visiting The Devonport Inn. Thank you.

Mrs Sweryda

Lovely well stocked and very comfortable house in perfect position. We had a lovely time. Thank you.

Mrs Dunthorne

Proper little gem. Gorgeous cottage in a stunning location, super comfy beds, spotlessly clean, close to all local amenities, a good little spar shop just up the road, quite small but stocks most things you'll need. Three very good pubs in the village, all serving excellent food and has entertainment on, friendly staff, make you welcome. Excellent local walks, although as expected in the location very hilly. Only downside is the lack of a rear garden and no outside bins to put your rubbish in (I took ours into one of the large bins in the village) not ideal. Car park just a stroll down the road, plenty of space and very reasonable charge for the week.

Mr Marcangelo

Little Stables is a comfortable cottage in an incredible place and we will return!!

Mr Hornsey

Lovely, clean and well equipped cottage in great setting, moments from pubs and beaches. Enticed back to the village after a family break 3 weeks before, this was just right for a return trip for the 2 of us and small dog!

Mrs Ash

in a excellent location. two pubs within 100 yards. no outside space but the beach is only 100 yards away.

Ms Berry

Our family of 2 adults, 11 & 17 year olds thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Stables it was a great location, within a few minutes walk of the beach, local deli, bakery and pubs The cottage was comfortable & tastefully furnished with good selection of games that we enjoyed playing in front of the woodburner on a couple of cooler evenings. We barely used the car as great walks from Kingsand in either direction along the coast, we also caught the bus to Cremyll which enabled us to travel across on passenger ferry to Royal William Yard for lovely choice of restaurants and also ferry from Cawsand into Plymouth. It was easy to hire kayaks and paddleboards in Cawasand and the well protected bays made it feel quite safe.

Mr Devine

A lovely cottage in a great location. Very well equipped kitchen with every essential catered for. Comfortable clean and cosy. Easy access to to the Village and countryside. A brilliant place to stay.

Mrs Wressel

This is a lovely cottage with excellent equipment & very clean. Comfy beds too. It is in a good situation being in this very lovely village & close to small shops with excellent fresh bread & basic items. Access to the carpark at the bottom the street where the cottage is requires everyone to be considerate. But we had no difficulty getting to & from it at all. Locals where really very friendly & helpfull. Would really recommend it for those who want to bring their 4 legends with them!

Mrs Evans

Cute modernised cottage, upstairs particularly lovely with comfortable bed and fluffy towels. Nice woodburner already lit on arrival with small stack of wood for the evening. We struggled with the shower, going cold for the next person and then another time temp fluctuating, becoming too hot then reducing again & low pressure. A tea towel would have been helpful. Overhead light in the bedroom could have been stronger. Entrance onto a narrow road so care needed when stepping out if with children or pets But these are small details; everything else was lovely and we enjoyed our stay!!

Mrs Cleverley

What a lovely little cottage, loved the simple natural/blue beach theme - right up our street and one of the reasons we chose it. Has everything you need in the kitchen (loved the crockery cupboard). It was perfect for 3 of us and our dog. Spotlessly clean, warm and so close to Kingsand beach and Cawsand. Had some lovely walks to Mt Edgecombe, Rame Head, and also not forgetting the beaches nearby. Enjoyed a few drinks in The Bay at Cawsand too and excellent food at the Halfway House. Thank you for sharing this delightful cottage with us. Would definitely stay again.

Dr Barker

Our holiday at Little Stables was way beyond our expectations (aside the weather which you clearly can’t control!). This did not prevent us from having a truly amazing time. The accommodation location, layout, cleanliness and amenities were all outstanding; we had everything we needed and more! Thank you. We hope to return. Best wishes to you all, Gail

Mrs Drew

We had a very enjoyable week in Kingsand. Little Stables was lovely and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's literally a few steps from the sea and there are some lovely walks in both directions. Lots of things to do eg get the ferry from Cawsand to Plymouth for a few hours, walk to Mount Edgcumbe, visit Whitsand Bay which had a beautiful beach. A really lovely part of Cornwall we had never visited before and we will definitely return.

Mr Elliner

Absolutely beautiful cottage, could not fault the quality of this gorgeous cottage. It felt very luxurious and was very cosy. Lots of wonderful amenities and beautiful walks from the door. Kingsand is a charming, car free village with three good pubs and a very well stocked Spa just 10 seconds up the road. There are some amazing sandy beaches and little secluded coves just a few minutes drive away. We had a very relaxing wonderful holiday.
