Oh my, what a special place this is! If Enid Blyton could have imagined a perfect setting for 'Five go glamping in Cornwall', I am sure she would have created this idyllic rural paradise. Set amidst glorious countryside, in the breathtaking Fowey Valley, this gorgeous wooden cabin has been perfectly crafted for a couple or family of five and of course any little Timmy (the dog) you want to bring along - OK so technically that's six but who's counting!

Blissfully quiet, this is the perfect spot to chill out, unwind and reconnect with the world around you. Discover a bounty of bird and wildlife whilst lazing on the loungers, soaking in the hot tub, or snoozing in the hammocks - some might even come close to say hello - or head off on foot to and create your own adventures as you explore the delightful five acres of wildflower meadows, pastures, woodland tracks and even a babbling brook. Dining al fresco is a must and what a choice you have. Stay close to base camp for a home-cooked meal or fire up the barbecue with the obligatory campfire songs around the fire-pit or pack up a picnic and find your own special spot to enjoy lashings of ginger beer and potted meat sandwiches of course!

The Little Cider House is as perfect on the inside as it is on the outside. Lovingly crafted by the welcoming yet discreet owners, who have ensured that you will have the most comfortable of stays. The stylish interior is befitting of any interior magazine with fashionable tones, striking wallpaper and fabulous rope lights. The super kitchen has a two-ring hob, oven, fridge and even a dishwasher - well this is glamping after all - and a dining-area should you wish to dine inside. There's a proper king-size bed for the grown- ups with a beautiful bedstead that is partly partitioned from the living area. At the other end of the cabin is the 'scrumptious' bunk-bedded room (please note one bunk is 2'6" and the others 3'), this room is charming and will delight the younger members of the party with beds that criss-cross each other - night times will be an adventure in their own right but parents do not worry it does have a door to provide some privacy! With an equally special wet-room complete with drench head shower, under-floor heating and a toasty wood-burner to ensure you are warm and cosy whatever the weather, The Little Cider House is here to welcome you all year round.

Mrs Grimditch

We loved our stay. It was so relaxing, even with our 3 kids, plenty to do and we loved getting chicken eggs each morning! Hot tub was a treat!

Mrs Warren

The Little Cider House was everything you could want in a holiday all wrapped up in a lovely cabin.

Mrs Motion

What a wonderful find The Little Cider Mill was. An exceptionally well thought out property equipped with everything you could possibly need. The decor and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The hot tub was a welcome addition and enjoyed every evening. Stunning grounds and a great location for exploring Cornwall.

Mrs chicken

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful little place and the host was really helpful throughout. It was lovely to look for eggs each day and the hammocks and hot tub were a really bonus. We would definitely recommend it.

Mrs Kelly

What an amazing place! We had the best week. Looking out the window and seeing a deer right outside was incredible. The hosts couldn't have been nicer, we were very sad to leave and return to the rat race.

Miss Selby

Can’t wait to go back! Brilliant space and grounds for kids to play. Beautiful little house. Chickens and duck eggs in the morning. Hosts were lovely and responsive. Couldn’t fault the stay. Really good location- so much to do even in not the best weather. Kids still went in the hot tub regardless. Thank you for a really lovely holiday!

Mrs Noffki

Wonderful little property, lovely touches from the lovely owners. Comfortable, immaculate and containing everything that you would need for a week’s holiday with the children.

Mr. Biesen

Little Cider did not meet our expectations, it exceeded them by far! Details so well thought of, everything taken care of and nothing left to be desired. We stayed in „luxury“ hotels after being here and missed our little hut. Anytime we would come back and recommend it to all Cornwall visitors as it is a great spot to start day trips in various directions. Thank you so much, Siobhan. Keep up the great work - any host could cut a slice from your hospitality! We absolutely loved it!

Mrs Howell

Little cider house is the perfect stay, for a family with young children. It had everything we needed and the kids loved collecting eggs from the chickens and the hot tub. Perfect base to explore nearby towns and beaches.

mr pingree

hot tub, hens and hammocks. just back for an amazing week staying at the little cider house. a truly wonderful and special place the owners have definitely put a lot of thought and effort into making a holiday home that everyone would enjoy. for us it was the little attention to detail that made the place. the hooks on back of doors that most places forget. the equipment in the kitchen everything and more you might need. for our 10 year old she loved checking on the chickens for eggs and making sure that non of them had escaped. a amazing little holiday home

Mrs Mönnich

The hostpitality was perfect for us. A warm welcome and some friendly talks. We like the surroundings near the cottage and the accessibility to a lot of tourist attractions.

Mrs Shipway

The Little Cider House is a real gem. We had four days here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The weather was wet and windy but the property is very warm and cosy and the hot tub is superb. We donned our wellies and coats each day and walked around the grounds and were lucky enough to spot a deer, a snipe, several pheasants and woodpeckers. The owners were very friendly, sending messages prior to our arrival and a quick visit on check in to ensure everything was ok. We didn’t have any issues but I’m absolutely sure they would have been dealt with immediately if we had. We would certainly recommend this place and who knows we might visit again, probably in the spring or autumn next time in the hope of better weather so that we can use the outdoor BBQ and fire pits (especially the hidden one in the grounds). A lovely place and so close to many beautiful parts of Cornwall.

Mrs Waterman-Jones

Special property, lovely peaceful location, excellent outdoor facilities, perfect for a relaxing break

Mrs Chaloner

Would really recommend a stay. The owners leave very thoughtful gifts of scones, homemade jam and clotted cream. As well as a bottle of milk! The hot tub is an added bonus. Very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Mrs Peat

This is a little gem of a property! Beautiful in every way and so well thought out. Set in a stunning location and extremely peaceful, yet only a short drive to everything you could possibly need. The moors on one side and the coast on the other. We enjoyed some great days out at The Eden Project, Fowey and our boys loved the Football Golf at St Austell. We spent our evenings relaxing in the hot tub, toasting marshmallows on the firepit, barbequing, and walking in the tranquil grounds surrounding the property. We were even greeted at breakfast by two deer grazing out the front of the cabin. The owners could not have been more welcoming. They really have made this a very special place to stay. Our children loved feeding the chickens and checking out the daily goings-on in the wormery. We can highly recommend a stay at The Little Cider House - you will not be disappointed!

Mrs Cheney

The Little Cider House was perfect in every way. We received a lovely text from the hosts the week before we were due to arrive asking if we required any recommendations. It was a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome before we’d even left home! We were welcomed warmly on arrival and absolutely delighted with the property. For all it’s a small space, it’s very well considered and equipped excellently. The location is excellent with plenty adventures accessible on foot including Restormel Castle and the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery. In addition, access to both sides of Cornwall are easily accessible. Highly recommend this beautiful little property for instant relaxation and adventure! Thank you again.

Mrs Griffin

Our family of 5, including 3 children, 11,11 & 3yo loved our stay at The Little Cider House. Although the inside is small it was comfortable and had everything we needed. It also meant we had to keep it tidy! We were lucky with the weather and so we could spend a lot of time making the most of the fabulous outside space. Our boys loved the chickens and our youngest insisted on visiting Boris and Co for fresh eggs as soon as he woke every morning. We made use of the hammocks, bbq, fire pit (toasted marshmallows) and the hottub. We also enjoyed shooting some hoops and a few games of darts. We walked into Lostwithiel a few times too. It’s a lovely village with some great shops for gifts. Also a few places to eat. We enjoyed one of the cafés a couple of times. There is also a park not far from the bridge (which goes over the river Fowey) for the kids to let off some steam. Overall we had a great stay and will return to The Little Cider House.

Mr Kraaijeveld

A really beautiful little holiday home with all the amenities your need and more .. like the hottub. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Mrs Blanchard

Absolutely idyllic cabin in idyllic setting and we didn't want to leave... The owners Siobhan and Mark are a delightful couple and welcoming, helpful but don't invade your privacy at all .... The hot tub was heaven and we had 3 barbecues with meat from the amazing local butchers in Lostwithiel. We wandered around the grounds woodlands and enjoyed watching the ducks and chickens . So peaceful at night time and we made good use if the firepir too ... all logs provided and extra if you ask.. It was a slice of heaven...our second visit and most definitely going back.

Mr Slade

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Little Cider House. It is situated in a beautiful part of Cornwall with easy access to so many attractions, whether it's the wilder Watergate Bay for surfing, the amazing Lost Gardens of Heligan or pretty Mevagissy. The accommodation is very well thought out, both practically in terms of the bunk beds, to the lovely homely touches such as the welcome food pack. We loved making use of the outdoor space, especially the BBQ & hammock. We wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Mrs Flatters

We had a lovely stay, the cabin has fantastic views and it was very relaxing. The cabin is compact but has everything you need and has been very well designed and thought of. Dogs loved it. Outside space around cabin is excellent for Bbq, lying in the hammock or sitting in the front of the fire. (Wood is plentiful)

Mrs Mackay

This exceeded expectations! Such a Beautiful property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Extremely clean and welcoming with lovely added extra touches. The jacuzzi hot tub was just gorgeous! Again really clean and so warm and bubbly! Just couldn’t fault the place! The hosts were lovely as well! We didn’t really see them so we were very much left to our own devices and very private but we had a lovely welcome and a fond farewell! Fantastic location to explore the local areas and some great recommendations from the hosts!

Mrs Blanchard

The best most magical place ...just a short break but we left feeling revitalised, rested and completely relaxed .It sure is a windy one ....red sky in the morning ??...? The owners had thought of every single detail to make our stay perfect ....it was the ambiance of a log cabin filled with luxury and comfort . The hot tub was amazing overlooking the beautiful countryside and we loved the chickens and ducks plus the fire pit and log burner were to die for . The veranda hammocks were such a lovely touch and I enjoyed my morning cuppa in pj's there . We also had a fabulous woodland walk and visited the Duchy of Cornwall shop and had a meal in the Teepee ... We cannot wait for our next visit .. A slice of heaven for certain. 5star 10/10 Sandy & Mike

Mrs Findlay

We really enjoyed our stay. It really is a beautiful cabin with amazing views. The hot tub was a special extra treat

Mrs Thompson

What a wonderful location! The hosts were available to help if needed and were not at all intrusive on our holiday. We loved getting up early, getting in the hot tub and watching the day start, and the mist rise over the fields. My son loved visiting the chickens each morning and would say ‘ good morning ladies do you have any eggs for me today’. It was fabulous to explore the open space, which is for me especially nice in the autumn. In the little cider mill, everything had been thought of, and whilst it was small the space was utilised really well and it was well provided for. Can’t wait to go back again!

Mrs King

We had a great stay, Lady our sprocker thoroughly enjoyed all the space she had to run around in. Our boys loved that we could collect eggs from the ducks and chickens to have at breakfast and the apples from the tree were delicious ????

Mrs Ropelato

We really enjoyed our stay at the cider house, we stayed with our two teenage boys and they had a great time too. Fowey is a beautiful little town that we had not explored before and Lostwithiel itself is also lovely with the river to play in.

Mrs Chaloner

The property was very well equipped. Cosy and warm. Very considerate owners who left scones, jam and cream as well as tea, coffee and milk. They text before we got there offering advice on walks, eating and anything we needed. We highly recommend.

Mrs Thompson-Boyce

A beautiful little place with excellent hosts.

Mrs Clayton

A bit of luxury in the countryside. Homely, welcoming and the personal touches made this a magical stay. Can't wait to return

Miss Pinchon

We had the most amazing week away at The Little Cider House. It was our first time in Cornwall and Siobhan and Mark made it spectacular.

Mrs Stephenson

We can’t wait to go back

Mrs Campbell

An absolutely gorgeous cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. It was very clean and despite a fair bit of rain, we had a wonderful stay here!

Ms Allsopp

Property is absolutely beautiful and everything so well thought through, we wanted for nothing!

Mrs Wallace

Lovely glamping experience, our first in the uk. Everything has been provided for your enjoyment and we were comfortable even during an unseasonably cold and wet week in July! Thank you!

Mrs Nimmo

The little cider house was the perfect place for us and exceeded expectations. Our 3 year old son loved running around the garden and seeing the chickens and ducks every morning. Closely located to a number of beautiful beaches and Fowey which had some lovely restaurants. Would definitely recommend. Very clean and some nice little touches like the cream tea to welcome us. The hot tub was a lovely extra too!

Ms Anderton

Extremely well appointed with friendly, thoughtful hosts. Not so happy about: Weather! liked: Hosts. Hot tub. View. Layout. Wet room Cream tea ......

Mrs Bray

This little place is so beautiful, well styled and well kitted out with everything you need. It’s like a home from home. Lots to do and explore nearby, everyone is so friendly and the drive round Cornwall makes you feel like your in France, so pretty. Cannot wait to come back again in the future.

Ms Munir-Asen

An incredible get-away, set in beautiful grounds with lovely owners who were incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The property was homey, kitted out with everything you need (including excellent wi-fi), and the space surrounding it was absolutely gorgeous.

Miss Roberts

The Little cider House had everything you need for a fabulous break. The location was beautiful, peaceful and private. Siobhan was really helpful and gave some great recommendations for places to eat. The girls loved the hot tub, the hammocks and making s'mores on the fire.

Mr Drew

Fantastic base for exploring Cornwall. Would throughly recommend the Little Cider House as a choice for a stay in Cornwall.

Mr Davis

Comfortable and cool, quirky and high end. A perfect little hideaway! Swinging in the hammock after a dip in the hot tub with the most amazing views is the cherry on the cake.

Ms Denton

Highly recommend the Little Cider House for a break - the location is perfect with so much to do on your doorstep, even if it rains! Hosts were brilliant, so much local knowledge and super helpful but left us be to enjoy our space and break. The standard of the accommodation is very high and you have everything you need. It's the best of being outdoors with some home comforts and beats camping when you really do need a proper break but still want to be around nature. The hot tub and fire pit are fantastic to enjoy at sunset and we left feeling relaxed and revived. Even the dog had a great time chilling out on the veranda. Would definitely love to go back!

Mr uddin

A fantastic break in the Little Cider House we look forward to returning soon. Thank you so much for a great experience.

Mrs Petts

This is a beautiful property with lovely hosts. We couldn't ask for anything more for our weekend break.

Mrs Brindle

Absolutely brilliant property with great attention to detail. The owners were wonderful - very welcoming even to our loud dog Rosco. Our daughter loved collecting eggs from the chickens and also playing in the stream. Overall a brilliant holiday.

Miss Knight

We loved The Little Cider House! We had a warm welcome from the owners who did all they could to make our stay as easy as possible, which meant we totally relaxed. It's situated with gorgeous views of the quiet countryside - particularly from the hot-tub! It's very stylishly decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a welcome Cornish cream tea which was a really nice touch. We've already booked for next year!

Mrs Titchmarsh

A beautiful shepherds hut in a magical location with incredible facilities. Fabulous owners who had thought of every little touch to make it a perfect break. We shall return!

Mrs Leigh

The Little Cider House was a real treat away particularly given the beautiful space to roam. The Little Cider House is spacious and beautifully decorated. The double bed was very comfy and the children LOVED the bunk beds! Having the sunken hot tub and fire pit really added to the overall experience. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and they provided us with great recommendations on local beaches, runs and rivers to swim in. We had such a relaxing time here, we didn't want to come home! Will definitely be booking again!

Mr Mills

The little cider house was awesome, and the owners Mark, and Siobhan were brilliant with the family. We have two young boys, and they both had a fantastic time exploring the grounds, and loved feeding the chickens. We would recommend the little cider house to any one that wants to get away for some welcomed peace and quiet. The cottage is a one off; hand-built by Mark and a really beautifully building with everything you will need. Finally, a fantastic location for easy access to many beautiful harbours, beaches, and cornish attractions. Kind regards, Anthony, Kerry, Jacob and Rowan.

Mr Webley

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property. The location was ideal for exploring both coasts but isolated enough for genuine tranquility when you come back after a day out. It's small but perfectly formed with a kitchen that had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great way to enjoy a luxurious and relaxing end to the day.

Mrs Gazzina

Beautiful hideaway in the Cornish countryside. Wonderful getaway. Perfect base to explore from. We spent a wonderful week here. Our only complaint was that it went so quickly! Really lovely cabin with beautiful touches.

Miss Butler

Lovely property with lovely hosts in a peaceful location. We were made to feel so welcome and felt at home very quickly and our dog loved being able to run around the trails around the cabin . We will definitely be returning here and would recommend to friends
