The house was perfect and all the little extras like the biscuits and the fudge just added to our amazing stay. We will definitely book again as the location was ideal. Everything was so clean and tidy and the house was equipped with everything you could need.

Miss Palmer

Excellent cottage, very well equipped, a great base for our holiday, fantastic location, short walk to the shops, harbour and 10 minutes to the beach.

Dr Kirk

Our second stay this year at Church Avenue Cottage was just as good as our first. The cottage is in a great location near to a cluster of beautiful old buildings and with the centre of lovely Fowey only a few minutes walk away. The cottage suited us, a couple and two dogs, well. It’s was very comfortable with great sofas, beds, quality bedding and linen, and very nicely decorated (especially upstairs). Nice bathroom (though if very tall the shower might be a problem), all very clean, with a convenient kitchen and open plan eating area. The downstairs utility room was useful. We had some problems after bad weather with the Wi-Fi, this was sorted in a few days. Long term park is in the public car park where we always found space but it is worth noting that it is quite a steep walk up from the cottage. One of the joys of this location was being able to walk to Readymoney beach for a swim and to Fowey river frontage. We will most likely return again.

Mr MacKintosh

As a couple we had a lovely peaceful stay at the cottage. We loved the ease of dropping off and packing the car and the simplicity of parking in the main car park without having to drive through Fowey. The cottage is situated very centrally, very well appointed, comfortable and a pleasure to visit. We will definitely consider staying in the future.

Church Avenue cottage is lovely and a fantastic place to stay. The cottage decor is particularly nice upstairs, with very comfortable beds, great bed linen and bathroom. Our dogs enjoyed the stay and the cottage worked well with a large open plan area downstairs. It was lovely to be so close to the town centre and the river, we walked most nights beside it and one of us fished in the river. The church bells regularly ringing we found charming. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working during our stay but that was due to a wider network problem in the area and we were recompensed very much to our satisfaction.
