Our third visit to this property great location great hosts and one of the best properties of the many Classic properties we have visited.

What a lovely place to stay. My dog & I had a lovely fortnight here & would definitely come again. The location is very quiet & private with views over fields, yet in a good location to easily access both coasts. The inside is light & airy with everything you could need.

Thus was our 5th visit to The Sheep Shed. We love it here. The cottage is warm and cosy, even on the coldest of days. The furnishings are clean and comfortable, all of the equipment works. The cottage is spotless. The countryside views from the cottage are beautiful. A wonderfully relaxing haven There are numerous clean, sandy beaches within a short drive. We'll be back

Our fifth or so return to The Sheep Shed & we never tire of it. A home from home.

We recently returned after our 4th visit to the Sheep Shed and our already wondering when we can return. The Sheep Shed has it all. Its a beautiful place . Clean, well equipped , super comfortable bed, amazing shower . Has a safe enclosed garden and a wonderful view over green fields. We were there when the storm came , At 4.30am on the Thursday morning it was blowing up outside whirling round the building but this place was sound nothing moved and we felt safe and cozy inside. The position of the Sheep Shed is great because your in a position to visit so many places. We visited Gunwalloe Beach on the Sunday morning then had lunch at the Golden Lion in Stithians followed by a walk round the lake, next day a visit to the Minack theatre and a walk on Porthcurno Beach. Then next day a visit to the Lizard and a Anne's pasty. St Ives another day and then not to be missed a walk at the nature reserve at Ponsanooth with amazing waterfalls and a interesting history. Book you won't be disappointed and will have the pleasure to meet the lovely friendly owners,

Lovely off the beaten track property that is furnished and equipped to a high standard.

Lovely, well equipped cottage set in a peaceful and tranquil location. Great to have a fully enclosed garden for our young dog to run freely and play ball! The cottage is well situated to explore all of the surrounding peninsula and also for watching the wildlife from the garden - fabulous to watch the Barn Owl hunting at dusk. Thank you Ros & Mike for the treats, including the dogs & for providing a great getaway for us to relax & enjoy - perfect.

Our fifth visit to The Sheep Shed and still as wonderful as the first! A real home from home, the cottage is beautifully finished, well equipped and ideally located for exploring Cornwall. Spectacular views, a gloriously comfortable bed & fantastic shower. Ros and Mike are ideal hosts. We do so hope to return again.

This is our second stay at The Sheep Shed and it was just as lovely as last year. It’s spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It’s perfectly situated to visit most of West Cornwall, as nothing is too far away. It’s also so very peaceful with a wonderful view across the beautiful Cornish countryside. We will be back !!

We had a lovely stay at the Sheep Shed. We have stayed before and will definitely return. It is a lovely place, situated in a really quiet position easily located to explore Cornwall. It is immaculate and had all the essentials we needed for a very comfortable stay. The garden is secure so perfect for our dog with lovely views, especially at sunset. Ros and Mike are the perfect hosts. We look forward to coming back next year!

The Sheep Shed lived up to our expectations and for us, was the perfect location from which we were able to revisit some of our old haunts as well as to find new ones both inland and from coast to coast. Lovely, quiet and peaceful, rural accommodation to return to and unwind after a busy day exploring this wonderful part of the world. The wildlife was all the company we needed, and we even saw a deer on the track when out walking with our dog. A memorable week.

We had a very comfortable stay at this cottage in April. It is warm, light, spacious and very well equipped including electric blinds on the veloux windows! It is well located, you can get to Penzance, Helston, St Michaels Mount, Truro or the north coast in 20-30 mins. The hostess was friendly and helpful. This is one of the few cottages that we plan to return to another year.

Our stay at the Sheep Shed was simply perfect - with friendly hosts it‘s a warm, modern, very well-equipped and comfortable cottage. Everything is extremely clean and welcoming and all the little touches (bright colour splashes, lovely mugs, deco etc. ) made us feel right at home. The location is exactly right to see the South of Cornwall. We enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen area. We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough

Gorgeous cottage, perfectly located and very well equipped. Our little dog was very well looked after and even though the weather was poor we had a lovely stay. Will definitely make a return trip to this cottage.

The Sheep Shed was definitely one of the best holiday lets we have stayed in with a huge comfortable bed. Ros is the perfect host. Very friendly, and the welcome gifts were much appreciated. It was our dogs first holiday with us and we took all his bits with us but there was really no need as everything was provided for him. Lovely pub, bakery and shops only minutes away and access to both sides if Cornwall was easy. We will definitely return.

We love the Sheep Shed! Our fourth stay at this beautiful place but first with our little one in tow. Fab base for exploring Cornwall and just the cosiest bolthole for Christmas. Ros and Mike are such wonderful hosts - friendly and attentive without being obtrusive, and added some lovely festive touches to the cottage to really make it a Christmas home from home. I’m already missing the world’s most comfortable bed! We very much hope to return again whilst we can. Thanks so much Ros and Mike

A cosy, tranquil retreat brilliantly equipped.

The Sheep Shed has been a fabulous base for our week in Cornwall. Not too far off the beaten track, it was easy to drive in and out and not too far from all our favourite haunts! The owner was very friendly with a warm welcome for us on arrival. One place we will most definitely be returning to.

This is the third time we have stayed here and have already booked to come back next year. Ros and Mike are wonderful hosts. The sheep shed is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. It is set in such a peaceful location and we enjoyed some stunning sunsets. The location is great for exploring Cornwall with easy access to the beautiful coastline, Truro, St Ives, the Lizard and many more places. We can't wait to come back!

We arrived to a very warm welcome from the owner(s). The property was excellent in accommodation, everything we needed was there. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Ideal location to explore Cornwall, we visited Falmouth, Portreath, Newquay, Perranporth, Lizard and we then cycled Penzance to Marazion. Our dog, Bruce, thoroughly enjoyed his stay, loved his biscuits and the big dog bed; garden is secure too. It was lovely to wake up and go into the garden to see the sheep. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful cottage, very tastefully decorated. Everything you could possible want right down to treats shampoo, bed and poo bags for the dog. Fully enclosed safe garden. Great for visiting all.parts of Cornwall from its central location. Perfect for a couples get away from busy everyday lives.

A beautiful barn in a tranquil setting with owners who go out of their way to ensure all is good with your stay. I’d strongly recommend this property and will without return upon our next Cornwall vacation.

The Sheep Shed is in a very good location and very quiet, Just right for 2 people and it has all your home comforts with the added feel of Farm life with sheep grazing only yards away from your door, Ros and Mike are the perfect hosts and kept us topped up with fresh eggs and home grown produce, we can't wait to stay again next year.

This is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. It is located within easy access of most parts of Cornwall. The Sheep Shed is beautiful and well equipped for all our needs. Ross & Mike were the perfect hosts and it was lovely to return and see them again having visited once before. It was also the perfect place for our dog with the enclosed garden and the dog bed and treats were very much appreciated by her! We've already booked again for next year and can't wait to retutn.

The Sheep Shed is a wonderful place. A real escape from the world especially at the moment. The garden is private, facing beautiful country side with fresh clean air. The barn itself is lovely and very well equipped. The owners are really nice and very helpful. It was our 2nd visit and we return again next month.

We had a fantastic stay at The Sheep Shed, it was the perfect get away for us with easy reach to lots of rural Cornwall, plenty of walks and cycling routes. We'll be back next year!!

This accommodation is in a rural setting allowing for a completely relaxing break. But if you want to explore Cornwall it is ideally situated allow you to strike out and discover all that Cornwall has to offer with many of the main attracwithin a 30 minute drive. The accommodation itself is spacious, tastefully decorated with all of the comforts of home. The hosts Mike and Ros are welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure that guest have everything they could possibly need. The added bonus to staying at the Sheep Shednis that if you gain an insight into the life on a working sheep farm. This was an absolute joy given that we stayed during the lambing season. All in all we had a fabulous stay at the Sheep Shed and will definitely book again.

Our third Christmas at The Sheep Shed and I sincerely hope not our last. We love it here; a real home from home. Fab central location for exploring the coast. The cottage is well-equipped and thoughtfully finished; super dog friendly and perfect for our needs. Welcoming and friendly but unobtrusive hosts, and views to die for. Would heartily recommend for a peaceful break.

We loved our stay at the Sheep Shed; it was a beautiful barn conversion in a lovely rural setting, but not too far from all the places we wanted to go.

This is a great place to stay. Well designed, light and airy and very well equipped, in a great location with easy access to all coasts and great walks. Ros and Mike (on site owners) were most welcoming and on hand if we needed anything at all. We hope to be back!

The sheep shed is a beautiful barn fixtures and fittings are exceptional It’s in a lovely rural location but easy access to both coasts . Mike the owner was very friendly and passed on local knowledge but was not intrusive. Highly recommend . Impressed by classic cottages very efficient and certainly would use them again .

Lovely clean cottage which was larger than the photos suggested. Very well appointed with plenty of storage. We'll be recommending the cottage to friends and will look to book the same cottage again next time in Cornwall.

A wonderfully peaceful Christmas at The Sheep Shed. Ros and Mike both warmly welcoming and unobtrusive hosts, the property is exceptionally well-finished and furnished, and in a lovely setting. Our second Christmas here and hopefully not our last!

We enjoyed a wonderful week, 7th -14th September, at The Sheep Shed. The property was immaculate, spotlessly cleaned and all in good order. The Shed was equipped with everything you could think of and there was nothing we lacked. The Shed is warm, cosy and extremely comfortable. The garden is totally, fully enclosed and safe for dogs. The accommodation is rural yet close to supermarkets and several beaches, we spent our days at Perranporth and Holywell, although we were also happy to spend days in The Sheep Shed watching the changing skies across the fields. The sunsets are a wonder to behold and I loved listening to the wind blowing around the cottage whilst looking up at the night sky through the skylights. Ros was there to greet us on arrival, she is the perfect hostess, friendly, warm and approachable but totally non-intrusive. She had baked us a delicious sponge cake which we happily demolished in no time at all. Everything was perfect for us and our dog at The Sheep Shed and we are intent on another holiday here as soon as we are able to organise a break from grandparent duties! We cannot find any negatives with our stay except to say Cornish weeks are much shorter than West Midland weeks! Thanks Ros and Mike for a wonderful holiday home. ,

A perfect cottage in a beautiful location. We had a lovely two weeks, the cottage was everything we hoped for and Ros and Mike (the owners) were wonderful. The cottage is on a small working farm and it was lovely to see the sheep and lambs each day and we had many visits from the cheeky farm cat. Having visited Cornwall for over 20 years, this is an area we have not stayed in before, the coast is about 20 minutes drive (Porthtowan, Portreath and Chapel Porth), you are very close to Redruth, Helston, Stithians Lake and Truro is not too far away. There are many cycle routes for all abilities and a very useful map can be found in the cottage which details, walking and cycling routes. The Great Flat Lode Trail is a really good cycling route, but be warned it is not flat and there are some steep sections, however, it is worth the effort. We would love to return and would highly recommend the cottage to anyone considering staying at the Sheep Shed.

What a gem! The sheep shed is situated in a lovely rural position on a small holding. It has an enclosed garden which was perfect for our dog and has lovely west facing views so we were able to enjoy some stunning sunsets. It is well situated for access right across Cornwall. Mike & Ros were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble and the cake Ros baked for us was delicious and a lovely touch. The accommodation was beautiful and in an excellent condition. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
