Pheasant Cottage

What can we add this is now our second holiday at the cottage. We can only say why should we visit again but a big yes because the cottage is great !!!

This was our second visit over the New Year period and everything was excellent as before. The weather was generally very wet and windy, which unfortunately meant that some of the local footpaths were very muddy or even flooded but returning to the warm and welcoming cottage to dry off more than made up for this. We look forward to visiting again.

Spotless little cottage, warm and cozy over Christmas. Excellent appliances although I didn't use the washing machine during my short stay. Comfortable bed too, so important. Luckily I don't have to get up in the night as the bathroom is downstairs. I would stay there again.

Beautiful cottage, perfect for a short staycation. Despite the weather, the cottage was cosy, clean and the area very quiet. Kerry the cleaner was lovely, she came back to check after a village power cut to make sure everything was ok and customer service was great by calling also. It’s the first time I’ve ever booked with classic and I will definitely be booking again!

Pheasant cottage is a lovely place. Tastefully decorated and all is provided for. We could easily imagine to have stayed longer. We were sad that we had to leave after a week. We did a lovely walking tour around Stithians lake and were lucky to visit the Stithians Show.

This is a very well presented cottage. The decoration and cleanliness is superb. The owners obviously take great pride and it shows with all the little touches around. A very pleasant stay which far exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful cottage has everything you need for a perfect holiday

I stayed at Pheasant Cottage for three weeks in May and June and it was a super pleasant experience. The cottage was just perfect for me and my two small dogs. Cleanliness was outstanding, the kitchen perfectly equipped and from the overall renovation, the looks of the cottage and the tiny details concerning decoration you could feel how much love is invested. I chose Pheasant Cottage due to its location quite in the middle of Cornwall. It was my first trip to Cornwall and I was looking for a place where I could easily reach the southern and the northern coast alike. That was totally given and I took a lot of very nice trips. Also the location near Stithians Reservoir was perfect for us, as I could do my morning and evening walkies starting directly from the cottage with almost no traffic (only the first 100 meters). For me it was a perfect stay and I can warmly recommend Pheasant Cottage and the services of Classic Cottages.

Pheasant Cottage is a lovely little place to stay cosy and comfortable. There is everything you could possibly want or need. The location makes it easy to reach both north and south coasts. There’s a couple of good pubs nearby doing great lunches which is always a winner!

Lovely cottage and decor, in a beautiful village, cosy and supplied with absolutely everything you could need as well as thoughtful touches from the owners. Bed and sofa very comfy and nice to have a wood burner, though we didn’t use it as cottage was warm without. Parking right outside, easy access. Good access too to both north and south coast and inland towns around. Great base for exploring this part of Cornwall, everywhere was nearer than we’d expected. Handy shop in village and two pubs and lakeside cafe close by with great food.

I thought it was a lovely cottage and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I can recommend.

We stayed at Pheasant Cottage over the New Year and found it warm and comfortable and very well equipped. We appreciated the extra touches such as the Christmas decorations and the dog treats. The kitchen is excellent and provides everything we could imagine wanting to use. Although compact the layout and fitting out of the cottage has been carefully thought through to make best use of the space available and everything is finished to a high standard. The location is convenient for accessing the north and south coasts and points in between, and there are some good walks available directly from the cottage. There are two pubs close by, both of which offer a good choice of food and which welcome dogs. We hope to return later this year

This is a beautifully presented cottage. It’s comfortable and very well equipped. The attention to detail was impressive, with the owners providing everything you need. Definitely the nicest cottage I’ve hired for quite some time.

Pheasant Cottage has been finished to a high standard. We found the cottage to be very clean & comfortable and there has been good use made of the space available. Cottage is easily accessible and adequate parking space for one car provided at the rear. Ideal location for travelling to other parts of Cornwall with easy access to road network. We had a lovely stay here, you will not be disappointed if you book this lovely little cottage.
