Opie’s Toy was the perfect accommodation in a perfect location. It was extremely clean, comfortable and spacious. We will definitely be back!

Lovely location near to Maenporth Beach. Well equipped with comfy bed and good shower. Field just across the road which was great for the dog - handy bin nearby too.

Ideal location for pet owners to visit the beautiful Maenporth beach and coastal path. A modern 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment with every amenity necessary.

This was our third stay at Opie's Toy which is testament to how much we love this property and its location. We have two teenage children who enjoy spending time on the nearby beaches and swimming in the sea, and we enjoy being able to walk the south west coast path straight from the door, which is always a highlight of our stay. The apartment is spacious and extremely well-equipped, particularly if you prefer to self-cater. Being on the ground floor, the balcony is perfect for all the beach things at the end of the day. No doubt we will be back again!

Excellent location, beautiful outlook. Close to beautiful maenporth cove, and some amazing coastal walks. Apartment is very comfortable.

Opie's Toy is a very comfortable and quiet apartment located within 5 minutes walk of the beach and even closer to the coastal path.

Nice property in pleasant peaceful location. Needs maintenance. Challenging access road not for the faint hearted. Also it is easy to bottom out a car and damage spoilers on the driveway.

Perfect in every way!

We had a lovely break at Opies Toy. The apartment is very well appointed and equipped. We enjoyed the stroll to the Life's a Beach cafe for breakfast in the morning (although very steep downhill). Affords easy access to nearby attractions such as Trebah Gardens, Glendurgan, The Potager Garden and The Ferryboat Inn at Helford Passage. We hope to return.

Just had a wonderful weeks holiday at Opie's Toy. It's a clean, very comfortable apartment, that is well laid out & well equipped. The coastal footpath and beach are extremely close by, and its a great location for exploring Cornwall from. Also, not far to Falmouth for food shopping etc. I would definitely recommend.

Stayed for a week in April and had a great holiday. The apartment really is minutes from the coastal paths via the field in front of apartment. Loved the area and hoping to come back next year and stay in the same accommodation.

It is a lovely modern apartment with plenty of space. It is very well stocked with utensils and equipment. Good location for touring that part of Cornwall.

We like this property very much, it's modern and comfortable, in a peaceful location with lovely views from just outside.

Overall we had a lovely holiday at Opies Toy. The apartment was in a great location, with good access to the SW coastal path and the beautiful Maenporth beach. The facilities within the apartment were great, once we could get to grips with the oven!! The sofas and beds were really comfortable, Lovely to have board games to play ( haven’t played frustration for years) and the OS maps were a welcome addition to plan our days out - thank you ?? The only negative is that the apartment could do with a deep clean, hairy and dusty under beds and sofas, mirrors and glass could also do with a good clean.

We stayed here at short notice, arranged by customer services whose service and efficiency was exemplary. We have booked the appartment again for next year, which is all we need to say!

The views from the property are wonderful, even in wet winter. Access very easy to the beach and cliff walks for the family and our dog.

Opie's Toy is a very comfortable flat. It was very clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. Thank you for the cream tea, the bottle of milk in the fridge and the bottle of wine. They were all very welcome. There are lovely views of Pendennis Castle and St. Antony's lighthouse from the picture windows and the balcony. The local beach is really excellent. We also enjoyed bacon rolls and tea at the beach cafe. We went on costal path walks and visited local gardens - all in wonderful , sunny weather.

Tastefully furnished, comfortable apartment in a superb position near the coast in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Excellent coastal and creek walks, and two lovely gardens on the doorstep. We recommend, and will be returning.

Very quiet location for a great relaxing holiday.

Beautiful property. Beautiful location. Short walk to beach and to lovely views but you can't see the sea from the property, although pleasant outlook over fields. Dog friendly beach 20 minutes along coast path (Bream Cove).

We really enjoyed our stay at Opie's Toy. I can only recommend this amazing apartment as it has everything you could wish for. Very clean and very spacious. A luxury to be able to stay here. Only a short walk from the cove and a good location to explore Cornwall.

A lovely big apartment with glorious views and walks. Very well equipped, and comfy sofas. Loved it here.

The lady we conversed with was very helpful as we had to organise a delivery of oxygen for my mother in law. it all went smoothly. we loved the apartment it had very comfortable beds and we loved the décor. it was very close to the beach and had lovely walks nearby.

An excellent good sized 2 bed ground floor apartment , with an excellent vista . Quiet , secluded , yet not too far from Falmouth and the shopping facilities for obtaining essentials if required . Would recommend for a nice break.

This apartment was in an excellent location and felt like you had your own private beach at the end of the road. The beach cafe was lovely for hot drinks and a bite to eat while watching the wonderful view. The view from the apartment was beautiful. Lovely coastal walks on doorstep. Good location to explore south west Cornwall. The apartment was very well equipped and would recommend a stay.

Beautiful apartment an easy walk down to Maenporth Beach. Quiet location with lovely views. Good places to eat nearby but nothing to beat a sausage sandwich on the beach in September sunshine! Great walk to Falmouth along the coastal path taking you past another lovely beach at Swan Pool along the way. Lots to see and do in Falmouth - quirky coffee shops, restaurants with grand views and a whole host of retail businesses selling Cornish produce, clothes, books ,records and work from local artists. If that’s not enough there are chances to take boat trips to take in more.

We had the most amazing week here, it was comfortable, clean and the most incredible views of the bay. Even though we were out of season and dogs were not allowed on the beach there were plenty of other places to explore. Top tip. If you are feeling a relaxing day in, take a walk along the coastal path for about half hour, there is a lovely hotel that does afternoon tea that you can go to and access to a beach for the 4 legged friends. Thanks again for having us for the week! We would love to sell up and move in :)

Opies toy is so peaceful and relaxing and great views and walks, would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing peaceful holiday! Plus the apartment is gorgeous!

Very nice property ideal for people with dogs who want to explore South Cornwall and literally right next to the south west costal path.

A very nice apartment in a great location. Slept like a dream in the comfortable beds. Equipped with everything you need. Good WiFi signal. You can walk to the beach which is really lovely.

We visit Cornwall regularly and have stayed in many venues near to and around Falmouth. Opie's Toy has been by far the best in terms of location and facilities. I can not recommend it highly enough and look forward to a return visit Thank you

A perfect holiday retreat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Opie's Toy. Perfect location for dog walking with lots of options even though dogs are not allowed on the beach. A luxurious feel to the apartment - we will certainly return in the future!

The apartment is very close to beach which as a marvelous beach café there. The café was very accessible to my husband on his mobility scooter(impacted sand) it was our mini-paradise

Extremely comfortable with great views from lounge windows. The position was great with so many attractions close by.

The quality of the property exceeded our expectations. Also very much appreciated was the tray laid ready to make drinks on arrival. Milk in the fridge. Biscuits, bottle of wine and flowers. Amazing.The whole experience from start to finish was excellent and cannot be faulted in any way. Many thanks. It was a real bonus to be able to bring the dogs.

We chose the property for the location and modern design

We have stayed at Opie's Toy several times and, assuming it remains available, plan to do so in the future. We're regular visitor's to Cornwall with a large family in Falmouth. Growing up, Maenporth was always my favourite beach so the location is superb. The size, style and facilities of the property work well for us especially as our teenage daughters now tend to come for part of the week only. Having broadband is essential for us.
