Swn Y Mor (Sound of the Sea)
Swn y Mor is the perfect traditional Pembrokeshire stone cottage, nestling in the pretty coastal village of Trefin. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this idyllic cottage is set down a quiet lane at the edge of the village.
Once home to a sea captain, the characterful cottage is the end one in a row of three and has been furnished throughout with loving care and great attention to detail with lots of paintings and artwork.
The cosy sitting-room has an open fire and the bedrooms are a delight with lovely bed linen and a super-king size bed in the main bedroom. Enjoy glimpses of the sea and coast from the main bedrooms, kitchen and garden. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en suite) as well as a further shower-room, and sleeping a maximum of six, the cottage is ideal for families and groups of friends wishing to take time out on the spectacular St Davids' peninsula. A real delight is the separate garden-room with chairs and coffee table overlooking the pretty cottage garden and patio - a lovely place to relax in, get away from it all and simply while away the time!
For guests' use is a very handy 'hut' with boot rack, ideal for walking gear, beach games and boogie boards - please note this space is for use at your own risk.
The idyllic rear grounds offer a private sheltered cottage garden with a spacious patio with lovely seating and a round picnic bench, from here steps lead to the lawn and garden-room.

Perfect place to be away from it all, but still close enough to all of the Pembrokeshire coast. Very comfortable cottage.
Mrs Emmett
Sound of the Sea is a well appointed, comfortable cottage with a lovely conservatory, summer house and garden. We ate in the conservatory most nights and relished the long, light evenings to enjoy the view. The cottage is well located on the Pembrokeshire coast, close to the coast path and ideal for friends or family wanting to explore this delightful part of Pembrokeshire. The picturesque hamlet of Porthgain with a fish bistro and gastropub is only a couple of miles away.
Mrs Pyle
We had a lovely holiday staying at Swn Y Mor! The cottage was beautiful inside & out, and had everything we needed. We loved the views of sea from the delightful garden and its spectacular location so close to the coastal path.
Mrs Ranola
We really enjoyed our stay at Swn Y Mor. It was a very clean and very well equipped cottage with everything we needed and more. We were a family of four adults, but I can see that the cottage would equally suit a family with young children. There was plenty of room for us all. Swn Y Mor is set in a beautiful location with the coast path within close walking distance. There are also excellent road links if you want to explore more of wonderful Pembrokeshire. I would highly recommend Swn Y Mor and it's location.

A very comfortable and well-equipped property in an attractive, quiet location. We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay.
Mr Lee
Swn Y Mor is a delightful property, and to describe it as a cottage really doesn't do it justice. The house is spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had every comfort we could wish for. It was by far the best equipped holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. We were blessed with beautiful weather, so spent most of our time in the lovely garden, summer house and conservatory. We especially appreciated the tranquil location and the close proximity to the sea and Pembrokeshire coastal path. All in all, the perfect holiday and we wished it could have lasted a lot longer. We definitely intend to return!
Mrs Hulbert
We had a lovely time here. Everything we needed and stunning views.
Mrs Smart
The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Having 3 bathrooms also made life very easy. There was plenty of space to spread out. We had awful weather a lot of the week but there were plenty of places to dry out our clothes and the open fire was very welcome.
Ms Douglas
Our second time staying at Swn y Mor, and it was as relaxing as the first time. Very quiet area, great walks from the property and within easy travelling distance of all of Pembrokeshire.
Mr Hussey
Fantastic cottage and very clean and homely. A wonderful location for family holiday with so much to see and do in the area. The beaches are really second to none and the walks along the coast are stunning.
Miss Lumbus
The cottage was beautifully furnished, very comfortable, lovely garden to sit in. No complaints at all. The nearest shop is 5/10 mins away by car but that is to be expected as it is situated in a small village. It is in a very good location for walking the Pembrokeshire coastal path. There is a good pub in the village under new management and the Sloop Inn and The Shed (renowned for its fish) in Porthgain is just 2 miles or so away. We would certainly recommend it to friends.
Ms Douglas
Very comfortable cottage, with plenty of space if a large family, but felt cosy and comfortable with just the two of us and our little dog. Gorgeous location, quiet and peaceful and close to numerous wonderful coastal walks.
