Surrounded by the sea and sitting on the clifftop in an area of enchanting, outstanding beauty, gorgeous Lighthouse Keep is calling. Imagine relaxing in a luxurious hot tub under the huge blue skies without a care in the world, soaking up the sun and never ending sea views. Recommended by House Beautiful in July 2019 as a great place for a romantic hot tub getaway, this delightfully renovated traditional terraced cottage sleeps six and is equally suitable for families and friends reuniting.

Located just two miles from the picturesque seaside village of Dale, this unspoilt beach is popular with swimmers, sailors, kayakers and paddleboarders, and children love crabbing off the pontoon in the summer months. The popular beachside cafe offers a hearty breakfast before a day on the beach, and also sells beach ware, crabbing lines, buckets and spades as well as a few essential items. There is also a great hire centre next door for beach sports. Enjoy lunch in the award-winning waterside Griffin Inn or dine al fresco under the stars, with the murmur of the sea lapping on the shore. Coco's Brasserie is also highly recommended.

Immaculately presented and effortlessly combining the traditional character with every contemporary comfort, the cottage creates a peaceful, calming vibe and is perfect for a long awaited break. A good night's sleep is promised in the three stylish bedrooms - a twin and en suite king-size room overlook the lighthouse with sea glimpses, and the double room to the rear enjoys stunning panoramic sea views. Imagine falling asleep listening to the waves crashing on the craggy cliffs below. On the ground floor, the charming sitting-room invites leisurely times together in the glow of the wood-burner, perfect for reconnecting with family and friends. Just off the well-equipped kitchen, which enjoys breathtaking and mesmerising sea views, is the charming dining-room. Calming blue hues pervade with subtle seaside themes, the perfect spot around the table for relaxed holiday meals and lots of laughter. In addition to the first floor en suite bathroom there is also a ground floor shower-room.

Jump into the hot tub to blissfully recharge after a day exploring the magnificent beauty of the surrounding area and soak up the sight of the ever-changing seas surrounding you.

Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed at this property.

Mrs Scanlan

Gorgeous remote location with spectacular views. Very comfortable cottage and ideal for exploring the wonderful Pembrokeshire coastline.

Mr Pickard

We had a great week at Lighthouse Keep and loved the place. We have stayed at Dale before but I would recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a base to explore the walks and beaches in the area. Well done to the owners for thinking of everything we could need, right down to binoculars. The hot tub was and added bonus!

Mr Parkin

Our favourite cottage and place to stay in Pembrokeshire. Totally unique with incredible views. It has everything you need and the hot tub is a real boon.

Ms Rigby

This is a very good cottage. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are lovely. You can walk the coastal path directly from your door. We would come back another year.

Miss Apicella

Lovely cottage in a perfect location to explore Pembrokeshire, with walks to secluded bays right on the doorstep. We loved the hot tub and the cows!

Mrs Scanlan

A really comfortable and well- equipped cottage in a remote location. Dog- friendly and cosy for winter breaks.

Miss Tout

We had a lovely stay here. It’s a super cosy cottage and even when the weather is bad you can’t help but love the lighthouse and view! I would really recommend staying here if you enjoy the beach and a slightly remote location. We have rebooked for September.

Miss Woodman

Wow! What a lovely cottage in the most fantastic setting! We arrived in a storm and the sea was so rough. The wind howled round the property but we were so cosy. It quietened down as the week went on! Loved watching the tankers and tug boats coming in so close to the shore! I became such a geek with the marine app as well telling me where the ships were from etc!! We were the only ones in the 5 properties which was great! Fully enclosed garden for our dogs! Lovely big hot tub! You’re not disturbed by the lighthouse light or the fog horn! Fantastic amount of cups/mugs etc! Nespresso coffee machine, any amount of pots n pans. T towels, scourers, cloths, black bags, dish washer tablets. A few things like salt and pepper and vinegar! There wasn’t one thing I needed that they didn’t have! It was lovely and clean and very comfortable (king size) bed! Didn’t use the other rooms! Super walks from property but our dogs liked the little estuary beach just outside Dale. Very interesting and pretty area. We travelled through Pembroke over to the Castle Martin peninsular that you see from the property…. You need to check Road closures over there as the MOD use live ammunition and as it’s near the road they close some of them! It was fun watching them firing at night from our cottage watching red lights fired into the sky! We visited a place called St Govans Chapel and the beach where Dobby from Harry Potter is buried Freshwater Bay! A lovely area of Wales and an exceptional property.

Mrs Trice

Lighthouse Keep is a fantastic property, it felt like a real home from home and it’s definitely one of the best equipped holiday homes we have stayed in. The location is just fantastic, watching the tankers pass by, the helicopter arrive and depart and watching and hearing the waves crash against the surrounding cliffs was just amazing! We enjoyed so many walks along the beautiful coastal paths in Pembrokeshire and cannot wait to return to this wonderful part of Wales.

Mrs Willans

Perched on the cliff edge, adjacent to the lighthouse, a perfect spot for tanker- watching or just gazing out to sea, this cottage has everything you need ( and more) for a great holiday, exploring wonderful Pembrokeshire. Close to beaches or the coastal path, there is plenty to do from outside from the front door. The hot tub is a relaxing way to finish a day’s activities.

Mrs Lewis

What a fabulous, well equipped cottage in a superb position and great for the dogs too. I had forgotten what a beautiful part of the U.K. Pembrokeshire is with some fabulous beaches to explore and St .David’s as an added bonus. We loved our stay here and really hope to return.

Mr Cross

Great cottage in a stunning location. Very pleased with our stay - but beware the Wi-Fi was ok for casual use but could not be relied upon for effective remote working.

Mrs Evans

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location very well equipped and comfortable just be aware if there are six of you in your party you cannot all sit together in the lounge at one time comfortably

Mrs Seaman

We had a great holiday at Lighthouse Keep, many thanks to the owners and housekeepers for all their hard work. We will definitely be returning later next year. It was lovely also to receive a bottle of Prosecco and Welsh cakes with tea and coffee in abundance on arrival after a very long journey. Our dog Drym also appreciated the doggy box and biscuits too. The cottage was beautifully warm and cosy despite the raging storm outside. The hot tub was a great bonus and gave spectacular views of the many oil tankers passing closely by the headland with pilot boats and tug boats trying to slow them down in high winds. The coastal walking was enjoyed by all and some of the beaches we found were amazingly beautiful. Thanks again for a lovely relaxing stay.

Mrs Marshall

A great base to explore from. Beautiful secluded beaches near by Watwick Bay was a gem. Watching the boats go by from the hot tub was an evening delight!

Mr Smith

We had literally the perfect holiday at Lighthouse Keep. The sea view is second to none, the location is so near many magical coastal gems, and the house is stylish, comfortable and welcoming. As a dog owner it couldn't be beaten with a 100% safe green space just through the patio gate. We'll be back!

Ms Brown

A unique place to stay!! Llighthouse was just excellent! Lovely sea views, very friendly little 'community' and a comfy well equipped cottage. The foghorn was great!!!

Mr Parkin

We have never been so happy in a cottage. Lighthouse Keep was unbelievable from start to finish. The fact we could sit in a hot tub of an evening and look at a working lighthouse was so atmospheric and worth the fee on its own. The beds were comfy, the showers were excellent and the kitchen contained everything we needed, including some ingredients we forgot! Oh and Welsh cakes! The views, the sea, the coastal walks were the reasons we booked, but lighthouse keep delivered so much more and kept surprising us throughout our holiday. We didn’t want to leave.

Mrs Smith

We would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to get away from traffic and people ! We easily catered for 6 of us and had cosy evenings with the log burner going in the lounge and the open fire in the dining room, toasty. Great to come back from coastal walking and relax in the hot tub while watching the ships go by ( very close ) on their way in to Milford Haven and Pembroke Dock.

Mr Preece

If you look up the meaning of retreat in the dictionary you will see a picture of this property. It is truly remote and provides the opportunity to completely cut off. The house is well equipped and offers the opportunity to both cook and bake at home, which is just as well as the distance to local amenities makes popping out a little difficult. However, the house is comfortable enough that after a big shop you don't have to move if you don't want to.

Mrs Ellard

Lovely property, great views, enjoyed watching the ships coming past through the kitchen window. The property is warm and comfortable, will definitely return for another holiday here.

Mrs Bristow

Wonderful setting to relax & take in the elements. Beds comfortable, all amenities at hand. Stunning area to explore on foot, by bike or car. A pleasure to stop in thank you.

Mrs Winter

Lovely views and walks, very lucky with weather; however found property tired inside and out - on first impression, looks great, but needs deep clean; garden needs attention; shouldn't advertise bbq and washing machine when both were filthy and unusable. However would say upon having issue with hot tub, this was dealt with efficiently the same day.

Mrs Lawrence

Beautiful cottage with stunning views, equipped with everything you could need and more. The hot tub was fabulous, perfect for relaxing in the evenings with the light of the lighthouse in the background. Cozy living room with great wood burner. Lovely costal walk to Dale with a couple of sandy beaches along the way. Would totally recommend Lighthouse Keep for the perfect getaway!

Mrs Leonard

Lovely cottage. Remote location
