The Willows

Ideally located on the North Devon coast, able to reach all the amazing beaches etc within an hour. The cottage is emaculate, has everything you need! Owner's are local and very helpful and were on hand if you needed anything or help. Definitely recommend and would love to return in the future!!

Just fantastic in every way. The accommodation is amazing. Clean, tidy and looks like it’s brand new. The owners add some very nice extra touches that just make the whole experience wonderful. Ideally located for the beach and The Burrows as well as the heart of Westward Ho! Itself, this is simply the best place to stay.

Well appointed, well equipped, well located and very comfortable holiday home. Very peaceful setting made for an enjoyable and relaxing stay at The Willows. Location so close to the amazing beach in Westward Ho! meant that the car barely moved all week. Our 'doodle' loved the enormous beach and was completely happy chasing her ball and jumping the waves. Owners were very friendly and helpful with top tips for walking and shopping! Welcome hamper on arrival was a nice touch. Planning our next stay at The Willows but 2 weeks this time.

We stayed at the Willows for two weeks June 2024. It is located on a quiet side street only a very short walk from Northam Burrows. Upon arrival the property was spotlessly clean and we were delighted with the welcome pack (including Prosecco and scones). We enjoyed the “upside down” nature of the property and found the upstairs living /dining are very comfortable and well laid out. Communication with the owners from booking through to departure was excellent and we were very grateful for their local knowledge and recommendations for places to visit. We would happily recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful break in North Devon.

A outstanding property it was truly amazing, communication with the owners was spot on. Fully enclosed for anyone staying with pets, the property has everything you can think of and more and just a short stroll to the beach and local shops,bars &restaurants. The Willows is located within walking distance of the sea and offers excellent accommodation. The hosts were very attentive and ensured that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Fresh flowers, home made scones and a bottle of wine provided those special touches which enhance the feeling of being on holiday. I recommend The Willows without any reservations.

The Willows was perfect for an extended family. It was spacious, well equipped and very well situated for the town, the burrows and the beach.there was also ample off road parking. The owners were very receptive, helpful and prompt with communication. We will certainly book this property again.

The Willows is a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable with all the equipment you need for your holiday. Excellent location for us as we had 3 dogs. Hardly used the car during our stay. Emma the owner lives across the road and was there to help us out when we needed it. We will return.

The Willows is a beautiful house to stay at. The owner has thought of everything, wet suits, body boards & beach towels for the beach which is a 5 minute walk away. The house is fully equipped, it felt like home from home.

Location perfect for access to the beach both the dog friendly area and family area. Hosts were on hand to support and offer assistance when needed but not intrusive in any way. Wonderful homemade scones on arrival all basic amenities provided which were very useful and appreciated. Attention to detail in this property was excellent! Highly recommended and we will return!

Wonderful property. The owners had thought of everything and the property was beautifully presented. Very close to the beach and the town. Also perfect location to visit other Devon attractions. We couldn’t have had a better week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend staying at The Willows. Excellent standard of accommodation in the perfect location for us. So much thought has gone into the requirements of guests. This cottage is beautiful, modern & has everything you could want & more. It's particularly good if you have a dog, as it's steps away from the Burrows & the beach. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending a stay here. C, C & Marlow :)

Beautiful, clean, modern yet cozy, warm and perfect property. We didn’t want to leave and wished we had booked a longer stay. The location was perfect, the owners were welcoming and so very helpful - they had thought of every need we could’ve had. All in all an amazing place to stay in North Devon we cannot wait to come back…..

This property is absolutely stunning - beautifully presented and in a fabulous location. Lovely welcome products, including milk, an array of teas and coffees (including coffee pods for the machine), lovely scones, jam and cream, milk, butter and prosecco. Fresh flowers in the living area and bedroom, which was a really nice touch. The property was immaculately clean with gorgeous linens and an abundance of towels supplied. It provided a lovely comfortable, light and airy space to relax in - the perfect holiday home!

Just returned from a wonderful holiday at The Willows. Such a beautiful house in a great location for exploring North Devon or just wondering down to a fantastic beach!! Would most certainly recommend a stay here!!

Excellent property in a good location for beach walks with the dogs & walking into westward ho for a good variety of cafes, pubs & restaurants. Lovely welcome pack from the owners. This was our second visit & we would gladly return.

If you want a wonderful house with great dog walks, an amazing beach, peace and quiet and an incredible welcome then this is the cottage for you! We loved our stay here and will be coming back. Thank you Emma and Warren for making us so welcome.

We stayed as a family of 5, with a grandparent, 2 teenagers and 2 small dogs. The Willows us amazingly located for the beach and the area known as The Burrows as well as the Coastal path. We were unlucky with the weather but the amazing WiFi kept the teens occupied along with the games selection. We still walked to Appledore along the coast path, ate at The Beaver. Visited Clovelly and ate at The New Inn, walked the Kipling Tors and ate at The Thatched Inn, walked up Hartland Point and ate at the lovely The Hoops at Abbotsham. Definitely try their Orchard Pig cider on tap. The teens loved the arcades at Westward Ho! only a few minutes walk along with the great So Sweet shop and the delicious cakes from Bessys bakery. Warren and Emma were very helpful and left scones and milk etc for our arrival. The Willows was beautifully clean and well thought out and we would love to come back....maybe not in a storm this time!

We loved this ?? it has everything you need to enjoy your stay, and so light and airey, the open plan zone upstairs is great for chilling out and having meals together and very comfortable enabling you to unwind. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need, we plan to come back again. Keith , Debbie, Charlotte, ric,& baby Harley ?? xx

Fantastic! Hosts thought of everything for our stay. The welcome hamper, flowers, fizz and everything from cleaning products to washing. First class comfort and we are already planning our next year break at The Willows.

The Willows truly reflects its owners and the love and dedication they put into building it. A home from home. It’s as warm and welcoming as it’s owners and hosts Emma and Warren. Every detail is thought of to ensure the perfect holiday. So many media options for a rainy day, books board games etc. Great location for brighter days with the beach a short walk away. Local amenities again just a short walk away. Also a great place to explore the wider local area with some great places nearby. Highly recommended.

Above and beyond to make you feel so welcome. It's definitely a home from home property. Everything you could possibly need for your holiday and loved that the beach and amenities are a short stroll away.

Fabulous property in a great location with High Burrows at the end of the road ideal for dog walks and access to the beach. Great outdoor space where we spent most of our time as the weather was so lovely. Everything has been thought of here, it is just lovely :)

We stayed over the new year period after what has been a terrible year and it was I have to say the highlight of our whole year! We felt totally chilled and relaxed from the minute to got into the property. It is very tastefully decorated, whilst not being overly fussy and super comfortable. The only thing it lacked was a log fire, but we quickly found that the YOUTUBE version of a crackling fire felt just about the same :>) The little extras were also very appreciated and very thoughtful. We will definitely keep it in our stay again list and recommend as a lovely home from home to anyone looking to have a peaceful, restful and re-energizing stay.

The Willows was immaculately clean. The location & proximity to the beach is great. Appreciated all of the extra touches like fresh flowers, scones & Prosecco, extra towels, beach & dog towels, dog bowls & poo bags. There were even wet suits & bodyboards for your use! The 2nd fridge freezer & the utility area was very useful. Garden & patio are completely enclosed so great for the dogs, who had a great time! All in all we had a very comfortable & relaxing stay. Emma & Warren, the owners, were nearby but not intrusive , it was obvious from their communication that they really wanted us to have a good stay, which we did, thank you

We had a lovely time here, loved the closeness of the beach and other amenities. My grandchildren spent hours chucking huge pebbles into the sea from the pebble ridge at high tide.

Had a fantastic week staying at the Willows, 5 adults and a dog, despite the weather being against us. Easy access to the Northam burrows 1 minute away, and beach is over pebble ridge. 10 minutes to center of Westward Ho. The Willows has everything you could want on a self-catering holiday, it really is as good as it looks in the photos. We shall be returning

Lovely welcome from the owner who also provided scones & prosecco on our arrival. Everything you could want for a comfortable stay is provided and the modern cottage is close to beach and the town.

We had a very enjoyable holiday at the Willows. The Willows is a lovely place to stay for 2 weeks but maybe impractical to live there perminantly. Great to be close to the town/beach/Northam Burrows, the owners were available whenever we needed them and went out of the way to provide garden access to a gym for my son. Very dog friendly location having access to the Burrows and the beach within 5 mins walk. Enclosed garden was a big plus for having a dog that can't normally be off lead. It was nice to get a welcome pack with delicious scones, prosecco and little extras like complimentary tea, coffee and condiments provided.

Emma & Warren were extremely welcoming and have made their rental property stunning. They have gone above and beyond with the "extras" (dog treats & towels, scones, Prosecco, toiletries, even wetsuits!). The house and garden were spotless. The information pack covered everything, places to go, things to see, where to eat etc. A brilliant location and gorgeous house. Thank you! All of the places we have stayed with yourselves have been brilliant. The Willows is yet another to add to the list.

The Willows would be hard to beat for holiday accommodation. We all love it. From the youngest to the eldest. We shall return again next summer. We will look forward to it. Our grandchildren are already asking if we’ve booked. We have!

This house is simply beautiful. Finished to a high standard and perfect attention to detail. The owners are lovely being there to welcome us and the welcome basket was extremely well received. The quality of the house is enhanced by the fact that they have made sure made sure that everything you could possibly need away from home is there. The walks from the house are stunning and if we hadn't wanted to use our car once we'd arrived, we wouldn't have had to. That said, there are so many places to visit and the owners made sure to listen to what we wanted to do and advise on the best places go do it. So much to do that we need to come back!! I highly recommend this house!!!

We were welcomed by the owners Emma and Warren who showed us around the home and were very helpful We were most impressed with the extras we were given Fresh flowers,Scones with jam and cream fresh milk butter and biscuits and the use of cleaning products,washing tablets ect Not forgetting a bottle of procecco ??

We love this cottage. It's two minutes from the beach and a five minute walk from the town which means you don't have to use your car too much. The owners are very helpful, welcoming and nearby if you need anything. The sofas and beds are very comfortable. The outdoor utility area is ideal when you have sandy dogs and surf boards! We have visited twice this year and I'm sure we'll go back again.

We had an amazing holiday at The Willows, our best Classic holiday so far. The owners, Emma and Warren, thought of everything and that made our stay hassle free, we simply relaxed and enjoyed every second. Everything is on the doorstep, no need to get in the car. We walked the dogs in Burrows and the beach, went straight out of the house in wetsuits and surfed in the sea for hours and had a nice meal in the town on the way back. Beautiful house, wonderful beach and a perfect holiday for us all! Thank you

We found The Willows to be the absolutely perfect property in which to spend your holiday. Everything within the house was new, modern and of an amazing standard which we have not found anywhere else we have stayed. It's beautifully designed and a huge amount of care and attention to detail have gone into making sure that every need has been provided for. Add to this two lovely, welcoming owners, luxurious little extra extras to make you feel welcome and you have the perfect holiday home. Anyone who stays there will enjoy it as much as we did and we will definitely be coming back.

This is a beautiful holiday home, really nicely finished and very well equipped. The owners are extremely helpful, warm and welcoming. Thoughtful touches, like the welcome cream tea, added to the pleasure of our stay, and little things like having hand soaps, bin bags and cleaning products provided make this a very easy place to stay. Westward Ho! is a lovely place for a family holiday and The Willows provided us with the perfect base, just a few minutes walk from the sea. A real gem!
