This huge shepherd's hut, measuring 36' long, has been lovingly treated to a bespoke make-over, and offers two bedrooms at either end which between them accommodate five guests, a living-area with cosy wood-burning stove, comfy sofa and even a TV for any rainy days.

There is a fully fitted kitchen in one corner with full-size oven and fridge and all the equipment you will need for your stay. The lovely en suite shower-room is along the corridor leading to the spacious double bedroom. The second bedroom consists of a double bed, suitable for both adults and children, with a single bed above (please note that the single bed is only suitable for children aged 10 years or younger) and this room can be made up as two singles if preferred. Mrs Lotter

A little piece of heaven - pure relaxation, tranquility and nature. Would definitely recommend if you need to recharge your batteries xx

Mrs Newell

What a fabulous Shepherds hit. Much more spacious than a normal one and the bunk beds for the kids were a real hit. The sunsets really are quite magical. Had everything we needed, we really enjoyed our stay, so nice to switch off and be surrounded by nature.

Mrs Lee

Such a beautiful tranquil setting, this shepherd’s hut is warm and cosy even in November rain and wind. It is exceptionally well equipped and very welcoming to dogs. The sheep come right up to the private garden fence, giving a real “shepherd” experience!

Mrs Stanbury

This is a lovely property. Really enjoyed it and welcome and amenities excellent. Great for the dog's too.

Mrs Harper

We stayed here to celebrate our sons 2nd birthday surrounded by his favourite things, farms and tractors… and we were keen for peace and tranquility for a week. WOW this spot delivered just that! The perfect location for true R&R! We even lucked in with the birth of lambs during our stay and the hosts were so kind and allowed us to meet and cuddle a few! It was a fantastic stay and a memorable way to celebrate our sons birthday! I couldn’t recommend it more highly!!!

Mr Galt

This was our second magical stay at this property. Set amongst rolling Devonshire hills with easy access to towns (Tiverton & Crediton) as well as historic Exeter. Beaches are also close at hand Exmouth is beautiful. Plenty to keep young and old occupied a real gem of a holiday in a truly magnificent setting.

Mrs Borremans

We had a lovely stay with our 2dogs at the Shepherd's hut. It was our 1st time in a Shepherd's hut so had to adjust to the size and set up. It's in a very rural setting perfect for the dogs and if you like peace and quiet. No wifi so used quite a bit of data to google walks etc. There is a folder available with some very good circular walks in the area though. We visited 2 NT properties abt 25mins away and went to Exmoor area few times too but that's a bit further. Victoria, the owner, is very helpful and approachable. All in all a lovely 5days away from it all exploring mid-Devon and Exmoor.

Mr Langford

Great welcome and arrangement texts from the owner, everything was as agreed .. Ring O Bells, the village local was excellent too. Dog friendly, superb food and drinks. A warm welcome from the landlady and clients. The village is walkable to, but a steepish hill on the return !! Jan & Mel, Oct 22

Mr Loonen

We truly enjoyed our stay there. It is so peaceful and the evening skies were amazing. Also the owners were lovely people and were very helpful. The cottage is very cozy and has great beds. Everything we could have hoped for we had an excellent time.

Dr Buckle

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, stunning location, friendly help from the owners when we needed it, very well equipped and brilliantly large shepherds hut, just superb ?? cannot recommend it highly enough !

mr cook

The hosts were very friendly and could not have been more helpful to any requests. We all had an excellent holiday and would recommend the location and the shepherds hut to future guests,

Mrs Jefferies

What a lovely spot! So quiet (and we live in a little village) and spectacular views. The layout in the hut is well planned to make use of the space. We had no trouble with mobile reception. Visited Powderham Castle and the House of Marbles - both excellent and the latter is free!

Mrs Thornett

We had a great few days at the Shepherd’s Hut. It is in the most beautiful, very rural, area and was so peaceful. The views are gorgeous. We are a family of 4 and the hut had everything that we needed and was very comfortable. It is walking distance to a great pub in Cheriton Fitzpaine and isn’t far from other amenities despite feeling as though it’s the middle of nowhere! The owner was lovely and let us meet some newborn lambs and goats, which the boys loved. I’d really recommend the hut for families or couples looking to escape for a bit!

Mr Galt

Shepherds Sky is a beautiful shepherds hut kitted out with all the comforts of home which the shepherd could only ever have dreamed of! Our family loved it here and will be booking early to make sure we secure next years holiday here before the ***** star reviews come rolling in. The location is beyond stunning set in rural Devon countryside looking over the valley and rolling green hills. Within easy distance to Exeter, Crediton and Tiverton have amenities and attractions on hand. Bickleigh Mill a few miles down the road was lovely and popular with our two. The accommodation is excellent very comfortable and homely with all the facilities you would want for an exciting and unique family holiday experience. Special thanks to Victoria and family for welcoming us and letting us meet the orphan lambs and Pygmy Goats. Shepherds Sky simply stunning inside and out a real Devon gem!

Mr Knowles

Great Location, great Shepherd's Hut, spotless clean, and even had a goody box bottle of local wine and biscuits and something for thedog, pick the perfect touch, loads of logs for the log burner,

Mrs Hurst

Highly recommend sheperds hut. Everything you need is there, so cosy. Woodburner kept us nice and warm. Although remote setting, not far from many places. The ring of bells pub serves lovely food and the staff are just so friendly. A big thank you to Victoria, the owner who was very helpful indeed

Mrs Bence

We had a wonderful time!! Glorious views and beautiful hut. Perfect place to recharge your batteries! Short drive to pretty towns and about an hour to the seaside. Absolutely perfect if you have a dog!! Secure place to run around, our dog was in heaven!

Mrs McLeod

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay! The Shepherds Hut is very well presented throughout, with comfortable beds and sitting areas. Space constraints have been well managed and thought through and the location feels remote with amazing sunset views. Other reviews mention about no Wi-Fi which did initially put me off tbh, but I found my 4G worked just fine all week if you do need internet access.

Mr Curtis

Excellent get away from it all experience; truly amazing

Mr Mills

Fantastic location and garden if you are travelling with a dog!!

Mrs Biddiscombe

The hut lived up to expectations. Beautiful rural location, so peaceful and we saw the most amazing sunsets and star filled sky’s. Set in a good sized enclosed area that was great for the dog. The hut itself is cozy and clean with all the amenities needed to self cater. We were blessed with good weather so BBQ’d over the fire pit in the evenings. We really enjoyed our stay.

Mr Walker

Idyllic beautiful hut in peaceful surrounding countryside with rolling green hills and starry sky's. A home from home!

Mrs Cunningham

Beautiful and very tranquil. The lack of WiFi and phone reception was well documented in the description and actually made for a very relaxing holiday

Miss Carter

We loved the shepherds hut. Beautiful location and views. Fab enclosed garden for our dog and everything there for a comfortable me stay.

Mrs Roques-O'Neil

This was a wonderful stay hi-lighted by the uninterrupted views and peaceful surroundings. The interior social space was a little tight but in general a very high standard.

Mr McAndrew

With other holidays and events sadly cancelled this year, we feel very lucky to have been able to return to this little piece of paradise. Pure relaxation, and just a mile from one of the prettiest villages in Devon. Well worth the very narrow and winding roads to get there. The weather has been amazing too!

Mrs Gaylor

This was a perfect get away. Location fabulous! It was peaceful and relaxing. Great location for exploring. Fire pit was really good to sit and toast marshmallows while watching the beautiful sun sets. Very dog friendly, perfect garden for them to run and is fully enclosed. Hut was cosy and clean.

Mrs Dunham

Great location, fantastic property, we all hope to visit again! Shepard’s Sky suited all the generations who visited; 8 - 80 years old! Totally recommend.

Mrs Mashiter

We had a lovely week - it was definitely off the beaten track and very peaceful, it was great to look out at sheep and the occasional pheasant over breakfast! The weather was mostly wet during our stay but it was lovely to be able to curl up by the wood burner in the evenings , very cosy. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the decor very pleasant - and the owners have gone to great effort to make the property eco friendly which is a plus. A word of warning - there is no WiFi and if you are on the 3 network you won’t get any phone signal - this is great for getting away from it all but not so great for practical things like checking the weather forecasts and tide times etc and I wish I’d known this ahead of our trip so I could have done more “homework” before we started our holiday. This is only a minor issue though - overall we had a lovely time and we’d happily book again. Ps : try the lamb inn in Sandford village for a Sunday roast ??

Miss Cooper

Thank you so much for our stay, we had the most wonderful time! We enjoyed all aspects of the hut- even the pups had fun.

Mr Grover

Lovely secluded location. Very peaceful listening to the wildlife while sat round the fire pit toasting marshmallows.

Mr Harris

Excellent, spacious accommodation, superbly presented in a wonderfully quiet location. Perfect for those who like their own space!

Mr McAndrew

The property exceeded all our expectations. Shepherd's Sky is beautifully & tastefully decorated, with all the facilities to keep even novice Glampers more than happy. The owners have obviously put a lot of time & effort into getting everything just right. Our thanks to Victoria & Mike for the lovely welcome gift, & for the additional directions needed on arrival due to the snowy conditions.

Mr Mialhe

The place is so peaceful and the hut is so lovely and cosy ! Perfect

Mr Drouin

If you are looking for a peaceful break away from noise and traffic then this is the place to head for. Make sure you see the sunset, magnificent. Just take some books, food and drink and relax.

Mr Elliott

A wonderful location, away from it all, we spent a lot of time in the garden listening to birdsong. Thank you.

Miss Anker

Perfect location for a Honeymoon. Dog friendly and away from anyone else (rare to find both!). Very central so we even made it to the beach for the day. Absolutley perfect and we will be booking again! Rachel, Maredudd and Daisy dog

Mrs Cogdell

Location,setting, simply lovely .

Mrs Sharp

If this is your first time in a hut it won't be your last. Give it a try

Mr Chesterton-Kay

An amazing Shepherds Hut with all the facilities you could ever want in a beautiful location. Would recommend to anyone.

Mrs Mackay

Beautiful, peaceful location. Very central so perfect for visiting all parts of Devon.

Mrs Wilson

Fantastic cabin for our family holiday. Perfect setting surrounded by wildlife. Everything you could need and close to some great attractions.

Mr Harley

The first thing that struck us, upon arrival at the Shepherds Sky Superhut, was wow.....these Shepherds certainly know how to live! We were presented with a very clean & well maintained cosy accomodation, that easily suited the requirements of our party of two adults and two dogs, for the week. A welcome basket of 'goodies' greeted us in the kitchen, a lovely 'touch' we felt. Good housekeeping instructions and information about the local area was made available....very helpful indeed. Even through the most awful weather, we felt warm cosy and safe inside this hut. All of which added toward making a most enjoyable experience. Many thanks to the owners for allowing us to share this lovely hut and to Classic Holidays for making it available. Anne, Graeme.....Barnaby & Brandy
