Wootton Secret Hut

If you're in need of a relaxing reset, hidden away from the stresses of daily life, then this luxury hideaway in the heart of north Devon is the perfect choice. Set within 90 acres of private woodland, meadows and streams that are just waiting to be explored, this is rural bliss at its very best and the perfect setting for a couple or solo traveller with man's best friend in tow!

Step inside Wootton Secret Hut and you will instantly want to sink into the plump and inviting king-size bed, just the tonic for a heavenly sleep and lazy lie-ins. So, swing open the doors and climb into bed with your morning cuppa, watching the sun rise on the day ahead with the cheerful tunes of the morning birdsong to entertain. On chillier days, you have the luxury of under-floor heating to keep you warm and the toasty wood-burner will be crackling in the background as you lose yourself in the latest page-turner.

The cute kitchenette sits to the far end of the hut and is well-equipped with a two-ring electric hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and the owners have even included an air-fryer! You have all you need to rustle up a meal whilst listening to some holiday tunes on the radio. Just off the kitchenette you have the fully fitted en suite shower-room which is surprisingly spacious!

The outside really is a glorious extension of the hut. The owners have thought through every aspect to ensure you get the best the setting has to offer. The wood-fired hot tub has been positioned perfectly to take advantage of the view across to Exmoor and as the night sky darkens simply look up and star gaze! There's also a barbecue and garden table and chairs creating a cosy nook for al fresco eating and, if that's not enough, the lawned area is perfect for the hound to exercise and run off some steam, not forgetting the woodland that surrounds you.

The beauty of this hut is the indulgence of space whilst being surrounded by nature. Being on the owner's land you have the joy of knowing that help is on hand if required but, if not, you will have your privacy so you can simply set about enjoying your idyllic escape to the country.
