White Coast
Welcome to White Coast, tucked away on the north Devon coastline, this traditional stone cottage has been lavishly renovated with luxury and finesse. With stylish details and beautiful finishes throughout, this four bedroom cottage is the perfect place to gather with loved ones for a sumptuous stay by the sea and it's dog friendly.
On stepping inside, you'll find the hallway provides ample space to prepare for the day or unwind from an adventure. With plush seating areas and an array of books to read, it's a great space to sit and relax.
To the right of the hallway is the open plan living area which is accessed via three steps. Here the kitchen comes complete with a slickly-designed island with a built-in wine fridge. The lounge is comfortably furnished and has the addition of a Smart TV, electric fire and a cosy reading nook with a noughts and crosses wall game. Sleek, modern and stylish it's an ideal space for gathering together, whether for meals round the table, games by the fire or a movie night on the big screen.
Off the kitchen/dining space is the Island bedroom. Decorated in a lush sage green, this bedroom enjoys great sea views looking out to Lundy Island. Over in the other wing and down three steps to the left of the hallway, you'll find the other three character bedrooms, named Lighthouse, Beach and Ocean. Each one has been designed thoughtfully and dressed with sumptuous linens and charming details. Each bedroom also comes furnished with a wall-mounted Smart TV, air conditioning unit, an en suite shower and heated towel rail.
Stepping outside to the front of the house, you'll find the property enjoys a generous decking area that features a barbecue, hot tub and outdoor furniture for both dining and lounging. There's gentle outdoor lighting too so you can sit out as the sun sets and stars appear, enjoying some bubbles and laughing late into the night. The owners have also now installed an entrance gate and further fencing to enclose the garden meaning you can sit back and relax!

Mr Howard
This is a lovely property in a great location and was beautifully clean on arrival. When we arrived the Electric car charging point was not working and we were not informed prior to arrival. 8 of us stayed for a week and we were expected to use 1 hand and 1 bath towel each for a week. The hot tub was not maintained during the stay, so it began to go hazy on the last few days. Also, somewhere to hang towels near the hot tub would be nice. We stopped in Dec/Jan and it was very wet, but there wasn’t anywhere to really dry clothes. Be aware, if a few of you (8 of us) want to use Wi-fi you can’t. It is not super fast as advertised it barely works at all.
Mrs Shipway
Whit Coast is a really beautiful place, furnished to a high standard and spotlessly clean. The outside space is perfect for fine weather dining, the hot tub was warm and serviced twice during our 10 day stay. The lawn was flat and even and great for boules, (our own). Inside was cosy despite the large lounge/dining area which didn’t feel too austere for the four of us. The bedrooms were all well appointed and the showers powerful and hot. The Island bedroom is good for older people (like us) as it’s on a level with the kitchen (for midnight snacks and cups of tea etc), whilst the three other bedrooms are down a couple of steps off the main lobby entrance. This is a fabulous place, well worth the money, well appointed and well positioned to visit the many lovely places on the north Devon coast.
Mrs McKnight
White Coast is a gorgeous property- luxurious, private and relaxing, with loads of space. We loved the surrounding area too. Would definitely recommend and re-book!
Mrs Scott
Had a lovely stay with family, kids and the dog. Was super dog and child friendly and in a lovely location. Cottage was beautiful and clean. Everyone enjoyed their stay and would definitely recommend.
Mrs Kydd
Gorgeous house in lovely location. Presented to high standard with attention to detail. Loved our time here.
Mrs Page
Fantastic property, especially for larger groups.
Mrs Sheldon
We loved our stay at White Coast, what a beautiful property. The bedrooms were luxurious with lovely decor, as was the property throughout. The outside space was equally lovely , the garden cared for very well, very smart decking and plenty of parking space. The hot tub was an absolute highlight on a mums and daughters week away! It was wonderful to come back to after a day sight seeing, or at the beach. White Coast is a very peaceful property, in a great location to explore North Devon, and the local pub, The Hoops Inn, was a quick walk down the road, with great food. I highly recommend White Coast.
Mrs Pascoe
Thanks for a perfect family get-together at White Coast, it's a great property for a group with the four spacious en suite bedrooms - the beds were incredibly comfy so ideal for a holiday lie in! The outside area was really nicely presented, even in winter - the fencing and gate across the drive encloses that area and there's plenty of parking too. We star-gazed from the hot tub, played games in the sitting-room and enjoyed cooking together in the lovely open kitchen; we'd definitely return.
Mrs Chambers
Absolutely stunning place to stay. So clean and beautiful. Loved we all had our own en-suite. Kitchen was really well equipped you didn’t want for anything. Fantastic location very private but close to a lot of beaches in the area, 15 -20 mins drive to each. Loved the hot tub and the decking was really lovely and so was the garden. Was really impressed with the garage on the property to put our cars on and charge the electric car over night. Only down side was the sofa in the living area was exceptionally low and my elderly parents (84 & 85 yrs old) could not attempt to sit on it so they sat in the two separate higher chairs, I could not sit on the sofa either as Iv had 2 knee and a hip replacement and could not get down to sit on it. Everything else was fantastic, loved the little touches from classic cottages keeping in touch during our stay and with milk, tea and coffee on our arrival. Would definitely recommend the place. ??
Miss de la Mare
We had a wonderful stay at White Coast, the property is modern, clean and has a great layout for a large group. The outdoor space is well thought out and the hot tub was a real treat. Beautiful views and lovely area. Highly recommend!
Mrs Brimble
The standard of the property is lovely. The layout works well with the family . The hot tub was a bonus as the weather was atrocious . The grandchildren and parents loved the warm tub and it was well appreciated. The location was good. The garden was nice and comfortable seating if the weather had been better it would have well used.
Mrs Houssaye
Lovely house to spend family time. We had a great Christmas week all together but had enough room for us all to get away from each other when needed…. Maybe not ideal for people with mobility issues (my 85 year old Mum struggled), as steps up to house and different levels in the house.
Mrs Hunt
The cottage was set out well and worked for 8 adults. It has been done to a high standard. Poorer aspects were not enough tableware or cutlery, no oven gloves, poor storage in kitchen for items that you bring with you. The bedroom beach has a window above the bed which is fine but also has a small shelf with a picture on it which makes it very difficult to sit up in. Good position just off A39. A couple of good pubs nearby. Air conditioning/heating was hard to control. We have been going away as a group for about 20 years so have become very fussy over time and know what we like and don't. it was a good entertaining space and we had a lovely wek there.
Mrs Barker
Our party of 8 adults enjoyed a week at White Coast, and whilst it is beautifully presented and the outside space is lovely with the bonus of the hot tub we felt that the property is ideal for the summer with outside living but not so comfortable out of season. We visited RHS Rosemoor, Tapeley Gardens, Hartland Abbey and Quay, Clovelly, Bideford Museum and Gallery
Mrs Arnold
Lovely place to stay, very quiet, but in a good position for trips out.
Mrs Windsor
Very comfortable cottage, lovely hot tub, plenty of open space indoors and outdoors.
Mr Barrett
We booked White Coast for a family get together and with our pet dogs as it looked like perfect set up with large spacious accommodation, hot tub and a secure garden. Well, the place certainly didn’t disappoint! It definitely had the ‘WOW’ factor as we pulled up with being tastefully illuminated by garden and building lighting. The house itself is beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you might need and the layout was perfect for our 3 generations of family plus the dogs. Having 4 bedrooms, each with its own en suite was perfect, as was the open plan kitchen/dining/living area. The garden is secure and so we were happy to let the dogs roam around off lead under supervision. The hot tub was superb and a great way to unwind, day or night, rain or shine. The location was also perfect for us, a nice and quiet countryside position but being just off the main A39 we were only a short drive from the town for shops, attractions or the big sandy beaches for lovely walks. We had a wonderful relaxing week with family and pet dogs, and we would all highly recommend a stay at White Coast!
Mr Braund
White Coast is a stunning property. All the rooms are beautiful and the outside area gorgeous with beautiful views. The hot tub was lovely to return to everyday. The property is just beautiful. Someone has done a great job converting it. Loads to do everyday, far more than we thought within easy driving distance. Large shopping centre and beaches fifteen minute drive which was handy. Waterpark and adventure park minutes away, garden centre (with gnomes) and lunch!! Clovelly is pretty but was arduous for some of us! But the gardens that are open to ticket holders to the village are lovely and well worth a visit separately. No problem with White Coast's garden, perfectly enclosed for us and set well away from main road which we could not see or hear. Would really highly recommend and would come again.
Miss Merrington
The comment I would publish in a review is the warning that the garden is at the front and the garden is not secure so that people don’t arrive with dogs and kids and realise they won’t be able to relax.
Mr Joy
We had a wonderful stay at White Ocean. Our dog loved the garden. Very spacious and lovely modern decor.
Mrs Laughton

Mr Horsfield
This is one of the best properties we have stayed in. In a country side setting but within 5 to 6 miles of beaches and town. Property is exceptionally well appointed
