Mrs Jennings
Absolutely first class accommodations. Much thought and care has gone into the fixtures and fittings, genuinely cannot fault with anything. Lovely helpful owners. Would 100% recommend this cottage to anyone I know.
Mr Huggett
We absolutely loved the Copps, for its location and comfort, on our arrival it was a nice surprise to find home made scones left for us by Karen the owner. The secluded private garden with the addition of a Hot Tub, that we used daily after our days out touring Devon and Cornwall, was wonderful and relaxing. Karen the owner was very friendly and helpful if we needed anything, nothing was to much trouble and she was very informative about the local area. We would definitely recommend to family and friends. Sarah and Les

Nothing could have gone simpler. Seeing what we liked, accommodation-wise, to have an easy booking process, then simple updates on what needed to be paid and when. To the simple instructions of what to expect and directions to get there. A breeze. Just like the weather we had!
Mrs Pope
This was our second stay at The Copps, we enjoyed it so much last year that we stayed for 2 weeks this time. Again, everything was perfect! Karen, the property owner, is so welcoming and friendly and it’s definitely worth asking her about the local area as she has gems of information about local beaches and walks! There are plenty of both in driving distance (dog friendly too!) and places to visit and then you get to come back to the fantastic courtyard and hot tub which is just blissful to ease the aches after walking the rugged coastal path! The property is located in a peaceful lane where all you can hear are birds and maybe the odd sheep. There is everything you need here and more, we spent most of our days out and about until mid afternoon and then coming back to chill and recharge at The Copps. I truly can’t think of anything negative to comment on. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back at some point in the future!
Mr Trotter
Excellent holiday cottage. Everything was so thoughtfully laid out, from outlets being in the right place, high quality bedding and towels, and excellent cookware. It was absolutely perfect!
Mrs Stansfield
We had a great week at the Cops in early July. The bungalow is excellent - very clean and comfortable with everything you need. The huge bed is really good and the hot tub great after a long walk. The owner is really nice and helpful but also unobtrusive. As can be seen on the photos there is a quite high fence all round the property which cuts out the view but at the same time does provide total privacy. There are of course many great views when you're out and about. You can reach the coast path on foot in approx 20 mins and there are also handy car parks very near the coast path in several places just a short drive away. The coast here is spectacular - we loved waking along it. Also visited Hartland Abbey, RHS Rosemoor and Docton Mill gardens - all super. Can recommend The Anchor pub which was excellent (approx 35 mins walk) and Pattard restaurant (20 mins walk - on the expensive side but lovely).

Perfect place for a relaxing stay in beautiful rural Devon.
Mrs Squire
Everything about this property was superb. Very clean and comfortable with so much attention to detail to ensure an amazing break. Home made scones on arrival so welcoming and delicious. Hot tub relaxing after a day of walking and the log burner so cosy to curl up in front of on colder evenings. We will definately return to this tranquil beautiful place. So many great places within easy reach to visit.
Mrs Cooper

Mr Collis
This is a truly fantastic little gem for a break away. The house is magnificent and has everything you need. The location is stunning and the hot tub is just a wonderful added bonus. Karen the owner is a delight and cannot do enough for you while you stay with her. We already can’t wait to go back again!!!!
Mrs Davenhill
We loved our stay at The Copps the cottage was fantastic and the owners had thought of everything you could possibly need. The furnishings were excellent quality especially the bedding. Karen the owner was there if we needed anything but also gave us privacy. The hot tub was a lovely bonus and due to the secluded location the garden was not overlooked at all. We had a wonderful week and would highly recommend a stay at The Copps
Mrs Pope
What a stunning property! The attention to detail in this beautiful cottage is gorgeous; luxury bedding, towels and co-ordinated fabrics. Best of all though has to be the hot tub under the stars! We had a great week staying here, so much so that we have booked again for next year. The property is situated in a peaceful, rural area but so close to the coast with truly stunning cliff walks and beaches and towns only a short drive away. The owner lives next door and couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly and we can’t wait to meet again next year. I would highly recommend booking this property, I truly can’t think of a single negative comment.
Ms Glover
Fabulous accommodation, tastefully appointed with lots of attention to detail making it feel luxurious and comfortable. The super king bed was very comfy and with no outside noise we slept soundly. There was plentiful hot water & lovely powerful shower. The outdoors was secure for our dog to wander about, no grass but that was a bonus for us as ours has grass allergies. The lane just outside is very quiet for walkies with grass verges for the dog. The milk, cake & doggy treats were much appreciated as were the fresh flowers. Hot tub was a bonus & very well looked after. Recommend a walk round the corner to collect raw honey from Hartland honey, there’s an honesty box £5 or £7 depending on size. Woolsery milk for fresh milk / milkshakes (lots of flavours) Northam Burrows for long dog walks on the beach (dog friendly year round) all in all a very restful stay & we would like to return one day.
Mr Wood
The Copps is a very comfortable, cosy cottage that really felt like a ‘home from home’. The hot tub was a welcome added luxury, well located and was always well maintained. The fittings and furnishings were of high quality and there was nothing missing. The king size bed was very comfortable. The cottage was perfectly situated, close to the South West Coast Path (about 15 minutes walk). The location was private, secluded and very peaceful. Karen, our host was friendly and easily contactable if we had a problem. Hartland village is a thirty minute walk with shops and pubs, whilst Clovelly is a bit further to walk but easily accessible by car. We would recommend the Farmers Arms in Woolsery for a special meal. Helen & Cliff
