The Granary

A very lovely cottage, perfect for a holiday in Cornwall. Very well furnished and clean.

My family and I have just returned from a week at the Old Granary and we were not disappointed in the slightest. The location is wonderful. My daughter loved being able to see the horses in their paddock everyday and we spent hours watching birds flying in and out of the old wall in the graden. The cottage has absolutely everything you need for a family holiday with young children. If staying in the area again, I would book the Granary in a heartbeat!

Wow and well done! I'm hard to please but you aced this holiday. It was a big deal for our family so thank you for helping us make it happen.

Fantastic holiday, comfortable and warm absolutely faultless. The property is beautiful, cant fault anything, and location was stunning. Without a doubt, we willl return again and again, The owners were lovely so welcoming and warm, and those scones, clotted cream and jam left for us on arrival were just perfect. Thanks so much.

The photos of this property do not do it justice. Fabulous space with lots of room for every need. Really good quality bed linen and towels. Excellent water pressure for showers. The kitchen is well equipped. The fully enclosed garden allows you to relax with your dogs. Easy walk to the beach and a little further to Bude and the sea pool. I would not hesitate in recommending this property. The photo's do not do it the justice it deserves. Wonderful property, with loads of outdoor space for dogs and children. Hot tub was amazing. Location is great. Although on a working farm, hardly any noise, just the welcoming sound of bird song in a morning. A lovely walk across the fields to Widemouth Bay and Bude is always a delight.

Excellent accommodation, lovely and quiet location but not to far out of Bude. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Easy to use

Wonderful house for a large family group in a beautiful location. Plenty of space indoors and out. The hot tub was superb, perfect for relaxing in after long coastal walks. Great to be able to walk out of the farm onto the footpath to the beach and local pub, meant the car could stay parked. Comfortably furnished and well-equipped, would definately recommend.

Truely a home from home property. Has everything you could possibly need. The Hot tub was amazing. Afternoon tea and the vase of fresh roses on arrival was a lovely touch. Couldnt find fault with anything. Highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful week at The Granary. The cottage was fantastic and furnished to such high standards. Plenty of space for our big family group I particularly enjoyed the conservatory to retreat to. We had lovely weather and made use of the big garden quite often. Lovely area as near North Devon too. First time visiting Cornwall but definitely not the last.

This cottage was outstanding. We were so happy staying here and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bude. The attention to detail with this property is so impressive it made our holiday that much more special. We hope to return!

A fantastic property close to Widemouth Bay and Bude. Really comfortable and the hot tub was a much used feature. Will certainly visit again.

Highly recommend this lovely spacious cottage. It was immaculately clean on our arrival, which was very reassuring, with an excellent hot tub and a good size garden, very secure for our dog! The owners are very friendly and there are several walks directly from the cottage, including about a 20 minute walk to Widemouth Bay beach and a tasty cafe! Definitely hope to return.

The place is great , from the farm house to the hot tub, the garden is great and ideal for dogs. The lounge with the real fire is so great to unwind at the end of the day. The location for the beach's and doing long walks is perfect. Steve, Kirsty and Alan the dog.

The property and surroundings are exceptional. This was our second visit and we will definitely return again. An added bonus on arrival is the lovely lemon drizzle cake

It was a wonderful property to stay in. We were very impressed that stair gates and a baby bath were available to use along side the high chair and travel cot. The property was very spacious and the beds really comfy we would definitely consider coming back. The walks to the Weir Cafe and Beach were lovely.

This is a lovely house and great location. The hosts were really helpful with any questions we had. Although we had some bad weather, we had a great place to come home to for family time. The legendary lemon cake is amazing!

Location was excellent we were very close to dog friendly beaches and the cottage was dog friendly.

We really liked this house - we hired the Granary and The Old Byre - it was a bonus to find they had a connecting door. The owners were really friendly and helpful - we loved the lemon cakes! The kids loved having so much space, great garden and hot tub! The house is so well equipped, the owners had really thought of everything. It was brilliant being so close to Bude - a great family friendly place.

Had a fantastic holiday staying at The Granary, great place for a large family with children and dogs. The cottage was very spacious and had everything we needed, and the hot tub was a huge bonus we all loved it.

The food parcel from your supplier most of the fruit was on the turn --over ripe .We would not recommend using them again .Apart from that we were very happy with the Grannary .The cake that was left for us from the lady owner was too good quite delicious .We managed to get all our buisness done and a break also . best regards john & Susan Clarkson

Lovely cottage, good roomy and spotless, nice walks from the property, peaceful but not remote...

A fantastic cottage in a great location. Our toddler loved the farm looking at the animals and tractors. The house itself was the cleanest I've ever stayed in. I would 100% recommend staying at the granary for anyone visiting Bude or North Cornwall.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage. Excellent location, very peaceful yet easy to get to local beach and Bude also a good location for visiting other villages.

Our stay was faultless. The lemon drizzle cake made by the owner waiting for us on arrival was such a wonderful touch. Our dog LOVED the enclosed garden. We would thoroughly recommend this place for anyone wanting a a place to relax for family/friends/dogs. We intend to come back. The location is perfect. Easy walking distance to the beach and a lovely cafe/tea room ‘the weir’ which we would highly recommend. Thank you so much for such and amazing stay.

Fantastic cottage with lovely hosts. Comfortable beds. Very clean. All high quality furnishings and equipment. Great location 5 mins drive from Bude. The new shower room off the front hallway is an excellent idea for muddy children!

The Granary was a fabulous place to stay. We'll equipped, peaceful and perfectly positioned for seeing both Cornwall and Devon. Couldn't have asked for a better week and can't wait to return.

Needs more signage directing you to the property, farmyard dogs are using the courtyard to the property as a dog toilet and no dog mess being removed, considering when you look at the property rules about having your own dogs and clearing up after yourselves, I suggest the owners of the same

Our stay at The Granary was perfect, spacious and very well equipped beautiful kitchen. Everything seemed to have been thought of....Perfect hosts Lovely location only 5 mins drives to Widemouth Bay beach. Hot tub was a real treat, highly recommend a stay and in fact we have friends who are now looking to plan a trip away.

Great house on a working farm the owners are very friendly and have really nice dogs. There is loads of space a lovely garden and the hot tub is a bonus. Our Labrador Molly enjoyed the garden and her daily walks to the beach. The Bay view Inn at the beach is a great place to stop on your walk home, the food is fantastic and there is a lot of it.

We had an excellent holiday staying at the granary. The living area was very spacious and there was a great enclosed garden for our dog to enjoy as well. The granary was exceptionally well equipped. We will definitely return for another holiday

A lovely relaxing stay. Lovely dual aspect sitting room with great log burner. Good enclosed garden for our dog to potter about in. Good location for coastal and canal walks. Very well equipped.

We all enjoyed our holiday at The Granary, very quiet with good walks.

Very spacious ground floor, perfect for our toddler twins to explore whatever the weather. We felt very welcome and managed the 25 minute walk to the beach on quite a few days. Garden is perfect for an Easter egg hunt, plus the hot tub is perfect for resting in whilst the kids are asleep!

The granary is a beautifully decorated, really well equipped property. It easily met the needs of all of our family - clean and welcoming, great rooms and the lovely hot tub give us a bit of luxury.

Superb cottage. Very spacious, clean and very well equipped for all generations on the family to enjoy. Good location: 20 minute walk through fields to Widemouth Bay (longer on way back as uphill). Walk to Bude through fields then along the towpath following the canal (5K). Excellent base to explore North Cornwall. So peaceful and quiet. Hot tub was added bonus. Stunning weather all week - no rain!

Stunning property would highly recommend for any dog owner as the garden is perfect .
