Mrs Seal
We had an enjoyable stay at No 7 Churchtown which is situated right in the heart of St Agnes, close to local amenities. It was exceptionally clean and had comfortable furnishings and good bathroom facilities. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable although we did feel that a small chest of drawers would have been useful in there for storage. We arrived in the evening but the heating was not turned on and we found the instructions difficult to follow. However we did get the hang of these later and after that everything was fine. The kitchen is very well equipped and it was nice to have scones and cream and milk provided on arrival. The property has a small patio with table and chairs accessible via the outside steps although the weather this time of year did not allow us to use these. We would not hesitate to stay in this property again if we were looking in the area.

Wonderful house, perfect location and setting
Mrs Ford

Mrs Purnell
We had a fantastic stay at Churchtown. Very clean and homely, with a lovely comfortable bed. We had 2 other guests stay for a few nights and they loved it as much as we did. The location is great, walking distance to the pubs, bakery, shops and even the small beach. Highly recommend booking, we would happily of stayed another week!
Mr Wright
Quality accommodation, over and above our expectations, spotless.
Ms Hargadon
Really lovely, clean and welcoming cottage. Spacious and relaxing and very well equipped. Thank you for the nice scones and fresh flowers on arrival. Really appreciate that you allow a dog. Thought it was a really nice play to stay. St Agnes is a lovely small town and it was great to be in the centre of it. We could walks to all the pubs, restaurants and lovely shops - as well as the beach, the beacon and St Agnes Head. You can't always park very close by so may have to walk a few hundred yards - but it was worth it!

I know the village very well, so knew this would be a great location and it was! Have often stayed a bit further out of the village, so to be able to just pop out to the bakery in the morning or sit and have a drink outside the St Agnes hotel and be back home in moments was lovely. Had no issues at all with noise from outside pub in the middle of August. St Agnes drinkers don't tend to be a rowdy bunch in my experience and even on Carnival night all had gone quiet by midnight. Our toddler goes to bed at 7/8 and was never kept up by any external noise. The property is even more spacious and nice in the flesh and the kitchen is so well equipt. Mindy and Alan who look after the property couldn't have been nicer and more helpful; just lovely people. This is a perfect spot to explore and enjoy all the fabulous things that my favourite place in Cornwall has to offer, so would thoroughly recommend. My mother and her little dog came along too and she was so impressed as a first time visitor to St Agnes.
Mr Appleby
We had a lovely stay at No 7 Churchtown, such a convenient location tucked just off the main centre of St Agnes, so nice and close to shops, pubs and great cafes, but still only a 15 min walk to the beach at Trevaunance Cove. Fab 2 level garden meaning you can soak up the sun at different times of the day. Parking on the main village car park was easy via the RingGo app.
Mr Colski
A lovely cottage in an excellent location, comfortable, well equipped and homely. Very welcoming with a cream tea and flowers waiting for us on arrival.
Mrs Daniels
Lovely property in the heart of very friendly St Agnes. Just a few steps to plenty of local shops, butcher, bakery, deli, grocers, gift shop etc - all supplying a great range of local produce. We can thoroughly recommend the Seafood Deli for a very relaxed, delicious evening meal and the Tap House for good value and interesting lunchtime food. Sorting Office for great coffee. Lots of interesting and varied walks from the door - we only used the car twice all week. The utility room is perfect for hanging up wet coats and drying off soggy four legged friends! The cottage is tastefully decorated with luxury bedding and furnishings. Happy to recommend!

This is a beautifully renovated terrace house, right in the centre of St Agnes. Very clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. There is no parking, just about possible to drop off car outside long enough to unpack and repack, so be prepared to use the main St Agnes carpark, a five minute walk away. £3.00 covered parking overnight til 10am or free overnight until 7am. Due the location we found it noisy in the evenings. The St Agnes hotel, almost next door, is very busy with people drinking outside in the evenings, sometimes til late when it can get very loud. The weather wasn’t great, so imagine it’s even busier in the main summer season on fine evenings. Early morning deliveries also woke us up sometimes. Advice would be to bring ear plugs unless you don’t mind the noise. This aside, it’s a great location, as you can walk anywhere within lovely St Agnes itself, including down to the beach. Wonderful coastal walks too and Chapel Porth, another gem, just around the corner. There’s a fabulous pizza takeaway, the best we’ve ever had, and a great seafood restaurant almost next door. Excellent other eateries and independent shops. Plenty to see and do for a week in a great part of Cornwall.
Mr Fretter
A beautiful , spacious and well furnished and well equipped cottage in a perfect location in the heart of the lovely St Agnes . Friendly & welcoming neighbours. The cottage is in a great location & we highly recommend The Sorting Office for coffee & cake , St Agnes bakery for bread & pasties . The Tap House for food , The Driftwood Spars for a Sunday roast & all the other local shops & businesses .Managed to park close by during our stay without any issues. One thing we would add about previous reviews is that there was absolutely no noise from the pub & we never heard the cockerel & slept well the whole week . Dogs in the village no issue at all & no sign of any dog mess either. St Agnes is a beautifully kept village . We will definitely be re-booking 7 Churchtown.
Mrs Allerton
Stayed here for a week for my husbands 40th birthday. Really beautiful cottage, comfortable and luxurious with all amenities and great attention to detail. Shower was brilliant, TV and channels were good. We had a very comfortable stay here - my son loved all the cushions!. The scones were such a lovely touch, we were very grateful for these. The local bakery is incredible, amazing portion sizes, costs and great quality. Will visit if ever in the area again! Also a local artist in one of the shops next to the cottage is defintiely worth a visit. Location good to visit Falmouth and national trust beaches. Quite a steep walk to the beach, but nice to be able to visit for a few hours in the day. We didn't eat out much, but did visit the Peterville inn, which was lovely for the family and good service. Recommend the fish and chips. A couple of niggles - the local pub is visible from main bedroom window and locals tend to stay outside until late, which you can clearly hear in bed. Also, cockerels wake daily at 5am. Parking is an extra cost of 5 pounds a day (not clear on the website), and a little walk from the cottage. Managable but be aware before booking as it will add to the overall cost. Didn't spend much time in the town - local walks were overgrown and not suitable with our 3 year old, and unfortunately there are a lot of dogs in the area but no green spaces and little cleaning up done so the smell could be overwhelming. Overall I would recommend the beautiful cottage, but be aware of the surrounding areas.
Mr Barratt
Beautiful cottage hidden away off the Main Street. The cottage was tastefully furnished, with well equipped kitchen, everything you would need for self catering, even a lemon squeezer and super sharp knives. Lovely soft towels and good quality bedding. We arrived on a particularly wet cold day for July, and the cottage was quite chilly, we tried to advance the heating to no avail, we contacted Classic Cottages who gave us the housekeepers number, but unfortunately the number we were given was not correct. The following day however, the housekeeper and her husband came to look at the problem but again unfortunately neither of us could advance the heating. The housekeeper contacted the owners who then arranged for a local plumber to come to look at the problem. He ordered a new programmable thermostat and the problem was sorted out albeit after 5 days. St Agnes is a quaint village on the coast with all you need close by including butchers, bakers (most tasty ever sour dough bread and pastries) farm shop, deli, pubs and local caught fish shop, J Earl, just a mile away towards Chapel Porth beach (fresh crab was superb in Nigella Lawson linguine recipe). Parking is not easy but is workable with council car park at top of the village. St Agnes Head just out of the village has spectacular views. Places to visit near by include, Perranporth, Mylor bridge with great marina, and Holywell Bay beach, also only one hour away to Padstow, Carbis Bay and St Ives. For us St Agnes is one of Cornwalls best kept secrets, so let’s keep it that way, would definitely want to return. A true Cornish gem.
