Mr Davies
We spent a fantastic week at The Cobbles, it excelled our expectations. It was very clean and tidy, the decor and whole ambience of this delightful cottage contributed to a very special holiday! The location was perfect for our sightseeing, entertainment, and peaceful quiet evenings. It certainly ticked all the boxes for my wife, two 12 year old boys, our dog, and myself!
Miss Shuker
Wonderful property in a quiet peaceful location. The orangery is a fabulous room for family time and the location was perfect for where we wanted to visit. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable
Mr Grand
A very attractive place to stay
Mr Browning
We had a wonderful time at The Cobbles!! We recommend it for a holiday to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. All you can hear is the birdsong. Our elderly dog absolutely loved the lounge. She did not want to leave, infact she sulked all of the way home. We loved the Orangery, the sofas were so comfortable and it was so lovely watching and listening to the birds, and having time to read a book. The bedrooms were cosy, and the downstairs shower was amazing! We used that bathroom more than the other bathrooms. Be warned the garden is not dog secure. This property is close to the beaches of Padstow, Rock, Newquay and the stunning Fistral Bay!
Mrs Armstrong
Wonderful central position for all we wanted to do. Peaceful in a lovely location.
Mrs Randle
We enjoyed our holiday at the cobbles and on the whole the property met our needs however there were some downsides and we felt improvements could have been made. The conservatory area, garden and views were lovely and we spent most of our time at the cottage sat in here. The beds were comfortable and showers worked well. We found the cooking facilities disappointing. There was no bbq to be found despite one being advertised at the property. The kitchen oven is an AGA which we felt needed maintenance. The dials were worn away which made it difficult to control and the temperature controls seemed inaccurate. Overall the cottage was cosy and peaceful however there were lots of cobwebs and spiders around the whole property which should have been cleaned and dusted. Two of the bedrooms were very small.
Mrs Swain
No gate on driveway and garden fencing is not secure for dogs. Pleasant garden room for rainy days.
Miss Mitchell
Fabulous cottage
Mr West
We really enjoyed staying at this cottage. It is in a remote location but it is very peaceful. The cottage was well equipped and the large conservatory is excellent. Lots of character, would stay again.
Mr Angus
Cobbles is an excellent all round cottage tucked away in a very peaceful location but close enough for visiting lots of places of interest. Great for cozy nights in and good garden to chill outside. Local pub only 5min drive in lovely St Tudy village. Interesting location with interesting surrounding buildings. Great to return to after a day out touring.
Mr Robertson
What a fantastic stay at The Cobbles. A lovely place in a great location that was very relaxing and convenient for everything we needed. So pleased we have booked for next year in the first few days we were there
Mrs Donkin
Lovely cottage in a great location. Absolutely loved the Sun Room perfect for relaxing & watching the wildlife.
Mrs Hampton
Ideal location to explore Cornwall, or to chill out and relax in wonderful surroundings. Cottage had everything required and more to make a very special holiday.
Mrs Hughes
Lovely cottage, very comfortable and good and quiet location.
Mrs Olson
A lovely characterful cottage, with modern touches to give a relaxing holiday experience. Comfortable beds and fluffy towels added to the stay. Close to some amazing north coast beaches or for Bodmin walking hikes. This is rural, so expect tractor encounters etc but honestly this added to our daughter's enjoyment! A huge thanks to the owners and the Classic Team!
Mrs Kirton
Great cottage all you could wish for. The driveway is very very steep and not for the faint hearted or nervous driver. I found the stairs very intimidating and certainly not suitable for anyone with mobility or balance issues.
Mrs Mantell
Excellent value for money cottage, ideal for families with lots of outside grassed areas for entertaining. Quiet except for next doors sit on mower who seemed to be obsessed with it!! Spacious interior and very well equipped and excellent luscious bath towels, they were huge and fluffy. Ideally situated for exploring and would recommend Port Isaac and Tregaron Bay and of course the lovely friendly Cornish people.
Mrs Haase
Nice accommodation with lots of space, especially the dining room. Calm outside and lots of space in the garden.
Mr Knight
Easy to navigate.
Mrs Flynn
Lovely peaceful location, close to Port Isaac and many other great beaches and locations. We had a very relaxing stay at The Cobbles. Property was very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed. Sun room was lovely although it did get rather warm which is to be expected. Welcome gift of scones and milk much appreciated. Comfy beds and furnishings. Bedrooms were quite compact however. Property needed a little attention here and there. Garden was lovely and we enjoyed watching the birds whilst relaxing in the sun room in the evenings.
Mrs Stockdale
Lovely well equipped property. Be prepared to use car as all amenities in village of St Tudy are a long walk along the road.
Mr Pammant
Orangery apart (which was a delightful room) the rest of the cottage left us wanting more, lovely location but personally for us there were too many areas of disappointment within the cottage and need improvement.
Mrs Kerwin
We had a lovely stay over Christmas at The Cobbles. Very comfortable cottage. Lovely and warm, comfortable beds, nice big fluffy towels. We cooked a full Christmas dinner, the kitchen was very well equipped. We loved the extension which even on a wet windy day was great to just chill and relax! The smaller lounge was nice and cosy with the wood burner which was easy to use. We used the local community shop at St Tudy which was brilliant, with a Café as well. Would highly recommend! PS Thanks for the cream tea, yummy!
Dr Jones
Excellent place to stay with every home comfort and walks and places of interest close by.
Mr Simpson
The cobbles is beautiful - has everything you need such a tranquil location but still easy to get to places. Would definitely recommend & stay here again. We had a lovely time
Mrs Allen
The Cobbles is a delightful, charming old cottage in a quiet rural area, but only 10 minutes drive from most tourist destinations of North Cornwall. It has a large, private garden which was thoroughly enjoyed by ourselves and our dog ( some open areas, so dog needs to be supervised). The cottage is traditional, with the added bonus of a large, modern orangery, and 3 bathrooms. The owners have provided everything that you could possibly need, and the quality of furnishings and kitchenware was superb - with most things being brand new. Just a note if you have not used an AGA before - it takes a little while to warm up. Thank you also to the housekeepers who left the cottage so clean for our arrival, and the milk, scones, clotted cream and jam were a lovely touch. Dog leads and bowls were also appreciated. Despite rural location, there is general shop and garage just up road, and also village pub within walking distance. I did not want to come home!
Mr Maier
We had an awesome stay at this cottage, it‘s cozy and relaxing. You have easy enough space for 5 people. We would definitely recommend it.
Mrs Gladwell
Beautiful, spacious, peaceful, cottage, would definitely return, lovely part of Cornwall.
