Views out to the sea. Second sitting room for those who wanted peace and quiet. Enormous TV and plenty of blu-rays to choose from. Fantastically well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms, lovely outdoor space for the children to run around. Co op 20 minutes walk to pick up papers, food etc and it also has a cashpoint. We were 3 generations staying in this lovely house. The accomodation was really good and spacious. We would have liked another bathroom on the ground floor, particularly as two of the bedrooms were some way from the bathroom for night time visits! Otherwise wonderful, so much space for 6 very small children to run around in, plus we hired the hot tub for the week which was a great success.

A wonderfully large house with excellent views out over the sea and across to Port Isaac . Ideal for watching the sun go down over the sea. Catering was made easy with a very well fitted kitchen and the large TV's were very useful when the weather was bad.

This is a fantastic location with lots to see and do on the doorstep, it’s also perfect to access the north and south coast and all that has to offer. The property is welcoming, well appointed and ideal for a party like ours which is multi generational. The Dining Room is the heart of the house where we have spent very many meal times together recalling the events of the day as we come together.

Silver spray is a lovely property in a stunning location with amazing views. Easy access to the lovely little beach at Port Gaverne and a short walk to the facilities of Port Isaac. If you want a family get together this is an ideal property with plenty of room to get together or spread out as you want. Very well equipped with all needs covered.

We absolutely love this house! It is so well equipped in the kitchen. The views are to die for and the furniture and beds are so comfy. Can't recommend it enough. X

The house was everything we needed and of a high standard. January being a quiet month in the area was not an issue as we managed to have a lovely meal for us all at the Mote restaurant in Port Issac and also experienced the shanty singers in the Golden Lion where we were invited to join in. A special mention needs to go to Marco the taxi driver we managed to find to ferry us all back and forth between venues. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t available in the property, everything was of a high standard and made the whole experience easy. We hired the house to celebrate a 60th birthday with family and friends. The setting and facilities were first class and exceeded our expectations. I have already recommended the cottage to a friend who is looking to do a similar celebration with his family.

Marvellous family holiday home with lovely spaces and the location is superb. Sunsets from the balcony, lots of easily reachable day trips, walks and Port Gaverne with the hotel.

Perfect house for us, our children and grandchildren. Wonderful views and plenty of space in the sitting room and dining room. Very useful shower outside back door to clean sandy feet!

It was a fantastic house. Roomy, spacious and very homely and comfortable, which is a very big selling point for me. It had a very well kitted out kitchen for those of you who like to cook, as I do. The views from the property are stunning, even when it’s raining. If you love Cornwall, and dramatic views of the Cornish coast, you will totally love this place. I’d highly recommend it to anyone. 10/10

Silverspray has a wow factor when you walk in and does not disappoint as you walk round. It is so comfortable you feel at home straight away. Loved staying there and thoroughly recommend.

This was our second stay at Silver Spray and just as enjoyable as our first although we didn't have such good weather. However the house is very well equipped for rainy days with lots of DVDS and games, a huge new Smart TV and comfortable squashy sofas! I did the "Doc Martin" walking tour in Port Isaac this year with a very knowledgeable guide who also told us a lot about the local history which was fascinating and so I would recommend this. The house works very well for a multi-generational family gathering.

We all had a brilliant week at Silver Spray. We loved it so much we plan to come back in 2025. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds were really comfortable and the house is incredibly well equipped. The owners have thought of everything. The location is amazing! The views are stunning. It is right on the coast path - perfect for watching the sunset - and it is just a short walk to Port Gaverne beach. We hardly used the car, as we just walked down the hill. The beach is great for all ages. We highly recommend Cornish Rock Tors in Port Gaverne- we hired kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and went coasteering with them. It was fantastic having all this in walking distance from the house. It is not far to walk to Port Isaac either. We also hired a hot tub, which everyone loved, and this was all ready on the day we arrived. In summary it was a very special holiday and we felt so lucky to stay in this house. Thank you for the wonderful memories and we look forward to coming back.

Silver Spray exceeded all our expectations- its position, it’s furnishings, equipment, attention to detail and top of the market fixtures including a professional standard kitchen ( we had a professional chef with us who said this). We enjoyed the lovely large but cosy sitting room, grand (!) dining room and super bedrooms and bathrooms. Every room has a view which is very clever planning. There was a warm welcome for us with fizz awaiting us and freshly baked scones and cream.. the housekeeper was lovely and so warm and welcoming. Talking of warmth, the house was very warm all the time- brilliant! (solar panels we see) As it was winter and in an exposed position, this was really important. Every member of the family from age 6 to 78 thoroughly enjoyed staying at Silver Spray - the youngsters loved the super size smart TVs and we oldies loved the quietness of the snug! We all loved the hot tub which we hired and was ‘just there’ when we arrived and was taken away after we left so we didn’t have to do anything except enjoy it! So all in all, simply fantastic! We absolutely loved this house. What a location, what a view! It is so well equipped and beautiful, we loved our stay.

We first stayed here over 30 years ago and revisited with the same friends for my husband’s 60th birthday. It was absolutely perfect for a large gathering. We could eat together and had a local private chef for Saturday night which was amazing. A short walk down the hill to the pub worked for us too! Scenery from the house is stunning in all directions. It was lovely and warm inside despite the wind and occasional rain. Great access to beaches and lovely local villages! We will definitely be back - perhaps with family next time!

Excellent property for a large gathering with views to die for. The binoculars in all the rooms with a view is a great idea. Fully equipped kitchen with everything and more you need for cooking a great meal. Would just suggest another couple of tea towels in the drawer to save washing them every day, but that’s a minor thing ! The weather wasn’t great for our stay so didn’t sit out on the patio too much but would imagine it’s a real sun trap in the summer and the sunsets would be great whilst enjoying the sunken bbq. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

We love the property in the views. We had some issues that future guests should be aware of. First, we booked two weeks for two separate groups of guests, and, despite us being clear about this in advance, Classic Cottages had not organised a changeover. We had to battle on the day to get anything done. Secondly, there is an extremely loud smoke alarm that went off throughout the house. One night it triggered every ten minutes. Awful for dogs and children, and for our night’s sleep. Thankfully we were able to wake the housekeeper at 3am and she knew how to fix it. Classic Cottages either need to fix this, or at least put full instructions in the cottage on how to stop the trigger. The housekeeper was a real star in both resolving the changeover problem and sorting the alarm issue in the middle of the night. Thanks to her, our holiday ended up being a success.

This was a fantastic place for an 80th birthday celebration with friends . Plenty of room to spread around. Wonderful views from nearly every room. Sadly the weather could have been brighter, warmer and less windy but we managed to get out and about in between the showers and mist and we enjoyed the hot-tub. We had an outside caterer for the party evening meal ( Chef on the Roseland - highly recommended ). Lots of places to visit and various walks especially with the coast path outside the front door. Some of us drove to Blisland - moorland village - lovely church with ornate decoration , delightful village green and a super , enormous village shop and cafe run by volunteers. And a pub. Very convenient small Co-op store in Port Isaac with a few parking spaces outside. Our one main wish though was there needed to be at least another loo or shower room on the ground floor.

The house was in an amazing position and we had a great family holiday celebrating a big birthday! It was so spacious and easily accommodated 14 guests in the dining and sitting areas. Fantastic views from every window too, would love a return visit.

We booked Silver Spray as a surprise for my partner's 40th birthday - surrounded by our closest friends and family. The giant dining table sold it for me - having everyone able to sit and eat, and play games in the evening, together was fantastic! The views were spectacular, even on a drizzly grey morning it was breathtaking - the binoculars dotted around the house were a brilliant touch. The fully kitted out kitchen was a dream too; with 2 ovens, 2 microwaves and 2 dishwashers there was plenty of space for cooking and cleaning. We really enjoyed that there was something for everyone - the large area for a big meal and party space, combined with the snuggery (where I took myself off for peace and quiet over the weekend with a book and enjoyed the peaceful view), and the huge TV in the lounge where we snuggled up and watched films to nurse the hangover. The location was perfect with a nice coastal path close by too. The beds were extremely comfortable and warm and the linen was soft and clean. The whole house was very warm, with under floor heating too! I would book this again in a heart beat for our next big family event! It was amazing! :)

Great house for a large family gathering. Best equipped house we have ever rented. Would never get fed up with the sea views, enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Amazing property. We stayed for Christmas and had a wonderful time with the family and didn’t get on top of each other as the rooms are spread out. House is fully equipped for cooking and dining with lots of people. Great location - beautiful views! Don’t let Classic Cottages service out you off as we had a wonderful stay and the housekeeper was super helpful with any questions we had. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic stay. So wonderful to have such a big space to relax and celebrate with extended family. Biggest dining table I have ever seen!! Weather was wet and windy but just added to our experience. Wonderful little pub at the bottom of the hill. Can't fault it.

Silver Spray is just perfect, 12 of us stayed for my 60th Birthday, the house is wonderful for larger gatherings and in a perfect location. Binoculars in every room to take in the marvellous sea views, every appliance and crockery/kitchen item you could ever need. So much space that you never feel on top of each other. We hired a hot tub which was lovely after a day exploring. Such a special holiday, would highly recommend Silver Spray.

This was an amazing place to stay for our multi generational family holiday. The location was out of this world, with stunning sea views and the coast path outside the front door. The house itself was pristine and very well equipped, with a lovely sense of space and plenty of room for our large extended family.

I found booking very easy and the staff were very helpful. My family and I have been going to Silver Spray now for 28 years, over that time the property had been improved beyond belief. New shower rooms, all over painted, new fittings in the bathrooms. This last time it was the patio that was simply superb, and a new kitchen which made meals at home much easier. The view over Port Isaac is is breath taking, as is the sun setting over the sea.. Thank you Silver Spray for a fantastic holiday.

Fantastic property in an enviable position on the headland. The property is excellent for larger groups as its spaced out over three floors, has numerous bathrooms and was very clean on arrival. Also, the 2x dishwashers, 2x ovens, 2x washing machines, 2x microwaves and 2x lounges were really helpful. The beds were really comfortable too. Will definitely return.

Silver Spray exceeded our expectations. Lovely home in a fantastic location. Stayed here with the family and 3 dogs. Lovely walks from the doorstep. House was well equipped we had a great time. Even the weather was kind to us. Enjoyed a lovely meal at the pub in Port Gaverne.

We were a party of 14, three generations, staying for a week at Silver Spray and were lucky enough to have wonderful weather. We were bowled over by the fantastic panoramic view - one never got tired of sitting on the large terrace watching the sea and we had amazing sunsets every night. The house is really well equipped, and has everything a keen cook could possibly want. Our youngsters were also well catered for with a selection of children's books, toys, DVD's and puzzles. The coastal footpath runs just past the house and it is an easy walk down to the little harbour beach at Port Gaverne (takes a bit longer coming back up!) where there is a good restaurant and cafe, and one can hire kayaks, book wild swimming lessons, etc. Port Isaac is within walking distance, too, with a large selection of places to eat including two Nathan Outlaw restaurants. Parking is easy at Silver Spray and there is plenty of lawn for children to run around. The sea views from virtually every room were unforgettable and we will be back again!

This was our second visit to Silver Spray, with our daughters, husbands and grandchildren - we absolutely love it and Port Isaac. So sad to be back home to reality and not waking up to that beautiful view of a morning. We will be back ??

Beautifully positioned house with spectacular views of port Issac. The binoculars in every room was a lovely touch. Very clean & tidy, comfortable beds, the owners have thought of everything. Loved the area in the utility room, with maps, entertainment & attractions in the area.

Incredible location and exceptionally well appointed house for a large group - such a perfect place to relax with the family - and especially in November! Brilliant kitchen with absolutely everything you could want! Dining room gorgeous with children's table too - and wonderful panoramic sitting room. We loved the terrace and enjoyed many hot tub moments through the day and especially at sunset and in the evenings. Bedrooms and bathrooms all clean and comfortable. Brilliant selection of DVD’s - very useful for overtired children!

The owner has obviously spared no expense in furnishing and equpping this property. Everything is of a high quality and it was a pleasure to stay there. The house is very well insulated - both sound and warmth - and the beds are extremely comfortable. Upon arriving, the house was spotless and the houskeeper had prepared a welcome gift of fresh flowers together with the ubiquitous "Cornish Cream Tea" of scones, jam and cream. Our only regret is that we had only booked for one week - which is not long enough!

Perfect setting to watch the sun go down with a nice glass of wine. Easy reach of Port Gaverne. Fantastic accommodation for our group of 14 couldn’t ask for anything more.

We had a wonderful week's stay the week before Lock Down, the House and Location is just STUNNING, the house is perfect for everyone, for strenuous cliff top walks from the door, to strolling into Port Gayverne and Port Isaac (lovely to potter around), for GREAT food in local pub and in Port Isaac (just a stroll away), to just sitting inside or outside watching out onto the fantastic panoramic sea view - WHAT A TREAT PLACE. We will definitely be returning - THANK YOU for sharing this property with us. Oh and there are great places to visit near by, Castles, Surfing Beaches......

The property is in a stunning location with incredible views and a wonderful coastal walk right on the doorstep. The house itself has everything you need and is furnished to a very high standard throughout. A trip to Boscastle is definitely worth the drive as is Padstow. The only minor quibble is the lack of detergent for the washing machine which is a little odd considering dishwasher tablets are provided. We brought our own but I think it would be a nice touch to provide some, even just enough for 1 or 2 washes. Would highly recommend this property.

This is a lovely house in the most fabulous location. We had an amazing week here. The sunsets were so pretty. We loved Port Gaverne with its pub and swimming or jumping off the rocks and we enjoyed walking into Port Isaac and took a great boat trip. We all enjoyed surfing at Polzeath & Dayner bay. The views are just amazing and we would love to come back one day. Thank you to Jane the housekeeper and her husband for the help they gave us.

Simply the best family holiday cottage that we have stayed in .We usually have a family holiday for 14 of us each year & this is the best. The position ,views & space for the grandchildren were ideal & although the weather was wet & windy it did not spoil our holiday in any way

Silver spray was a brilliant property for our family gathering.It was spacious enough to hold 14 people comfortably and had plenty home comforts and almost every piece of kitchen and dining equipment you would ever need. Lovely views ,excellent balconies. My only regret that we were not stopping longer and didn’t get the weather to use the bbq pit!

Perfect cottage base for getting out and about in Cornwall. What an amazing spot. Bright, spacious, well kitted out. We watched dolphins from the terrace! We will be back again.

What a fantastic house in a great position. The views are amazing, especially the sunsets. A very well equipped house. Thirteen adults were in our party. The house was plenty big enough. New kitchen definitely has the wow factor. Bbq area and patio beautiful designed. Nice, quite hilly walk into Port Isaac and a nice drive to lots of lovely areas. Would highly recommend and everyone is talking about going again.

Silver Spray is one of those rare properties that provides guests with the most amazing sunsets, all round views, tranquility and peacefulness. Everything you need is available from an outside barbecue to the dvd box set of Doc Martin! From the first minute of arrival being welcomed by Jane and Maggie, through to yoga on the lawns, a free ride up the hill in the tuk-tuk and numerous walks along the coastal path. Our stay was perfect indeed.

This is an exceptional cottage. It was immaculately clean on arrival and the housekeeper, Jane was welcoming and helpful throughout. The house was warm, the beds were comfortable and the showers were wonderful. We are a family of 14 - 8 adults and 6 children. There was plenty of space for all both inside and out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.We liked the panoramic views from the house and watching the beautiful sunsets from the patio. We liked the Port Gavern Hotel for drink.

The house had probably the best views of any house I've ever rented, and we were lucky with the weather. But with the heating, even in February it was possible to watch the clouds shedding by, the next weather front approaching and the waves breaking on the rocks. Magic!

Beautiful location and views. House extremely well equipped and comfortable. Loved the second sitting room which gave the young people (late teens/early twenties) somewhere to hang out. Perfect for family gatherings or special occasions with friends.

Silver Spray is a very special place for a holiday in Cornwall. The setting is stunning with views to die for. We were lucky enough to see some incredible sunsets and sit on the terrace barbecuing whilst watching the sun go down. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and the owners really have thought of everything when it comes to catering for a large party whilst on holiday. What more can I say - we absolutely would recommend Silver Spray to anyone thinking of staying there.

We had a most enjoyable week celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary with our children, grandchildren & great grandchild.We spent the week enjoying excursions to beaches for the surfing and swimming for the young ones ,and generally exploring Cornwall.We had a most enjoyable lunch at Nathan Outlaws fish kitchen with our son and daughter and spouses , and also visited Rick Steins seafood restaurant in Padstow for a private celebration. Silver spray was everything we expected and more.All of us enjoyed ourselves in various ways fishing of the rocks below the house, walking down to the pub in Port Gaverne or just sitting in the wonderful lounge looking at the marvellous views.Probably the highlight of the week was the barbecue on the last night and watching the sunset .Thank you for a fantastic week.

Greatest house in Cornwall

The property was so comfortable and the views so lovely that we didn’t even mind the poor weather during our stay!

Fabulous house which greatly exceeded our expectations. Magnificent views from the patio area and from most rooms in the house. Beds, linen and towels all very good quality which is not always the case in holiday rentals. We had a wonderful time and hope to come again

11 adults, 2 children (6 & 3) and a 9 month baby spent a week at Silver Spray to celebrate an 80th birthday. We were all bowled over by the space, fabulous views and how well stocked the place was. The weather wasn't, the best but didn't' stop us having a great family time together with plenty of blu-rays (250 provided), books and a selection of games to suit all. The proximity of Port Isaac was fab and the coast path was just outside the drive. We did have one problem when the hot waster stopped working and the heating and after contacting the housekeepers (Maggie and Jayne) a plumber was dispatched to find the problem. It turned out we were out of oil. The owner had oil delivered 1st thing the following day with the plumber being there by 8am to get it all working again. On the day we had without heat the plumber turned the immersion heaters on constant for us to have hot water and we were supplied with 4 heaters with the promise of more if we needed them. All in all, I was very impressed with how an emergency was dealt with so quickly and efficiently. This in no way spoilt our week and I'd gladly holiday there again and recommend to all. Thank you for a lovely stay.

All the rooms were really clean, tidy and comfortable. The selection of videos kept the children well entertained. Having a small kiddies table and chairs was a great touch and all our grandchildren loved them for meal times. The separate lounge area with TV and sofa was a lovely “escape” place. The SW Coastal Path is literally on your doorstep and walking the path provides some stunning views.

A marvellous house for a large group. Excellent shared spaces, comfy bedrooms, great showers and other facilities. And the location is the best - cliff walks, swimming in the cove, sea kayaking and a nice pub are all on the doorstep. Shops and other pubs/cafes just a short walk away. So relaxing to have everything close by! Everyone loved it

A beautiful house in a stunning location with panoramic sea views. An ideal property for guests with mobility problems as once inside the house the main living area is all on one level along with 3 of the bedrooms and 1 bathroom. A short walk to a sheltered cove that is ideal for swimming. Port Isaac is on the next headland and a 10 minute walk away. There is direct access onto the coast path which is ideal for those that enjoy walking.

Beautiful house with stunning views. Spotlessly clean. The two lounges are a bonus if booked by two families. Very well equipped, blissfully comfortable beds! Easy to get to the surf beach of Polzeath, stone circles on Bodmin moor, and if you are able go to Wadebridge and hire bicycles and cycle to Padstow. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

A fabulous house and location, even in bad weather, there's always something to look at. We have been going to Silver Spray for many years and hope to go for many more.

Silver Spray is in an excellent location and the sea views from almost every room are wonderful. The house is very well equipped and spacious for a large group. We're hoping to book again in 2017!

To wake up in the morning with the amazing coastal view is breathtaking. But the sunset on a clear night with the property facing west is awesome. I would recommend any large family or group to stay in this house, you could never be disappointed. We have stayed twice now and just love everything about it.

This was the perfect property for this time of the year, although would imagine would be excellent in summer too. But when going in winter there was plenty of room for everyone and lots of things in the house films/books etc to keep everyone entertained. Access to coast path was a bonus and pub and Port Isaac in such close proximity was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone. And would definitely like to come back one day.

The location, layout and decor of this house are first class. We count ourselves very lucky to have had the opportunity to stay in this magnificent house. There are stunning sea views from almost every room and the beach at Port Gaverne and the Port Gaverne Hotel are only a short walk away. The kitchen is a chef's dream and you have the impression that the owners have thought of everything and have left nothing to chance.

It is clear that the owners have a rolling improvement plan. The patio when finished will be fabulous and good to have the "lower" level outside to protect from the breeze on cooler days. All very well thought out.

My family and I have been going to Silver Spray for at least 14 years and over that time have had the most wonderful holidays, on coming home we miss it terribly. Over the years the owners have improved it beyond all belief, the new patio and glass surround will greatly help outdoor activities. A fantastic house with views to die for! If you have the weather (which we did) there is no need to leave Silver Spray to go anywhere else - you can have your breakfast on the huge balcony and relax all day until the sun goes down, then light the fire pit, have a barbecue and sit around telling stories well into the night! If it's raining you can still enjoy the sea views from nearly every room and all gather around the large dining room table for a home cooked meal, made in the great, well-equipped kitchen.

Silver spray is a paradise property with the most stunning views over the coast of Port Isaac! Would definitely recommend this beautiful house!

The house and the location are amazing, would recommend it to anyone with a large party. The kitchen is very well equipped which made catering for 14 people easy.

Silver Spray is a house and location which anyone would find hard to beat. I have always said I would never stay in the same place two years running. We have done this now and are already planning our third. Cornwall has much to offer but really there is no need to go any further than this little port and Port Isaac next door. Try Chough Bakery's lovely pasties either in Port Isaac or Padstow. Cream teas at Vivs on the way to Wadebridge. Meals at the Mote restaurant in Port Isaac harbour. Fresh fish from the Aquarium Port Isaac harbour. Gorgeous fresh lobsters from Fresh From The Sea, Port Isaac.

Lovely house, very comfortable - has everything you could need in terms of cooking, entertainment and outside space. Wonderful views and sunsets over Port Issac to be enjoyed with a glass of wine.

This spacious, beautifully furnished property is in the most wonderful location, with fantastic views which take your breath away, whether at different times of the day or through different changes in the weather. Plenty of bedrooms, modern bathrooms, two sitting rooms and a huge dining table make this an outstanding property for special occasions for friends or family. The large, well-equipped kitchen- with two of everything- is a pleasure to use. Everything has been thought of to ensure that your stay is the best it can be.
