Stargazy

Stargazy is a beautiful property with every amenity you could need. The decor is stunning. Beds are so comfortable and the cottage is warm and welcoming. The area is perfect for exploring near and far and after a cold day out the warm hot tub and roaring log fire are an extra bonus. Can’t wait to go back.

This is our 5th visit to Stargazy. We love the location, house and garden. Wonderful views from the hot tub and fire pit. We can't wait to visit again.

Well located for access to Padstow, Bodmin and Fowey. Good car parking, west facing property, very comfortable and quiet. Was nice that owners were next door to help with any issues. Added bonus that bath robes were provided for hot tub use. Would return.

Property was excellent and above expectations, couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The faculties and environment are beauty and the setting is breathtaking! The location is perfect and close by lots of nice places to visit.

Perfect from start to finish (and there was even a storm!) My family of 4 had a brilliant time at this beautiful spacious accommodation in the heart of Cornwall. Such high quality furnishings throughout the property. We did not want to leave. The living room fire and the hot tub overlooking the fields were amazing and definitely the highlights. Plenty of things to do for adults and kids as the property is close to both north and south coasts of Cornwall plus many tourist attractions. Will hopefully be back soon.

Beautiful cottage with excellent hosts!

This is our third stay at Stargazy and it never disappoints. Karen and Bryan are great hosts and provide a very comfortable and well equipped property. The weather this year was particularly dreadful but we didn’t let that dampen our spirits. It’s a great base for exploring nearby and the comfy beds and hot tub a delight to return back to each evening. Our daughter particularly enjoyed seeing the horses each day. We’ve already rebooked for next year!

Stargazy met all expectations. I chose this property for the views and it didn't disappoint. The sheep in the field just made me smile every day! The property is extremely well appointed, so comfortable in furnishings and layout. Keen cooks will love the kitchen which is very well set up for equipment and cooking accessories. We did a long recreational walk using instructions in the property (past the horses!) but I can advise that as far as I can tell there is no pub/restaurant/cafe in walking distance/walking safe route which is a shame but not Stargazy's fault obviously! Owners were very communicative when needed but otherwise left us to our privacy. I would certainly return.

A stunning property in a great location. The cottage was very well equipped and spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable. The views from the hot tub were amazing. The owners were very friendly and our daughter loved their cats! We will certainly book again.

Very well equipped cottage and high quality appliances. Very comfortable beds. The location suited us, as it was very easy to get to both north and south coasts. Easy to find and to get onto A30. Peaceful location and secure garden for our dog to play in. Friendly, helpful owners. Lovely hot tub provided sunset and stargazing opportunities, even in Oct. The log burner worked well. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

An excellent barn conversion in the right place for either cost in Cornwall.

Wonderful relaxing family break. A great place to retreat to at the end of a hectic day to get some peace and quiet. Definitely need a car, but close to lots of beaches and small villages that it wasn’t an issue to get out and about. Ours hosts said hi as we arrived but left us to it, which was perfect! I would go back here in a heart beat!

Wonderful stay in this beautiful property, which was clean, well equipped and beautifully presented. Location is handy for travelling all over Cornwall. It is dog friendly with a secure garden. Loved watching the sunset from the hot tub in the evenings and great decking area for bbq and outside eating.

We had a fantastic time in this wonderfully quiet and relaxing property, so much so, we extended our stay. It was a great location for exploring Cornwall's best bits and then unwinding after a day of adventures on the deck in the sunshine or in the hot tub. Rainier days were great too with the log burner! Our dog loved the secured grassy garden too. The owners are next door but not in the least intrusive on privacy and very friendly if needed. Thank you so much.

Exceptional property, high standard and very clean.

Beautiful hot-tub with stunning views and such comfy beds! We had a great stay even though the weather was a bit rainy. We got out and about, but were also just happy to spend time in such lovely surroundings. Linens were excellent quality and the kitchen had all the equipment we needed. It was hard to find initially, but once we knew where we were going we were fine. Well located for visiting several towns, villages, attractions and beaches. Lots of choice of supermarkets (including M&S and Morrisons) within a 20 min drive. Would definitely recommend.

Comfortable and spacious cottage. Enjoyable and relaxing stay in an ideal location with numerous beaches and coastal walks within an easy distance. We were lucky to have glorious weather and were able to appreciate stunning sunsets in the evenings from the rear decking. Would thoroughly recommend.

A very spacious barn conversion with wonderful views. We saw to lovely sun sets from the hot tub which was very inviting.

Stargazy is so well appointed and so comfortable that we actually had a number of says when we never even left the property despite this being located in a marvellous area of Cornwall. The beds are divine and so comfortable , the whole property is superbly finished. The owners are always available and are very helpful but somehow manage to never be seen otherwise. Overall I would recommend this property to anybody wanting to stay within reach of many of Cornwall's finest areas in total comfort (especially in the Hot Tub).

It's an ideal place to stay if your after some quiet relaxation time. Its so comfy and welcoming and only 10-15 minute drive to nearest supermarket. Can't fault it!

We loved our star at Stargazy. It was a good location for touring Cornwall. We liked the peace and quiet of the cottage. It was a little tricky to find the first time, but classic cottages helped us and so did the owners who were very obliging. Overall, a lovely visit and we would definitely return.

An absolutely amazing barn conversion with everything you could wish for!

The property is beautifully designed to a very high standard and has everything you could possibly need. The beds are extremely comfortable and the hot tub was fantastic, even in the rain! Secure garden for the dog with stunning views over the fields and very welcoming hosts. Didn't want to leave!

This was our second trip to Stargazy. It’s quite possibly the best property we’ve ever stayed at in Cornwall. The owners have thought of everything and more to make your stay 5 star. The location is perfect for beach lovers, with many gorgeous beaches just a few miles drive away. We’re looking forward to booking it again next year!

Absolutely superb property, and very lovely owners too. All the little details have been thought about, I honestly cannot fault our stay here. The hot tub was the cherry on the cake, gorgeous views of the sunset, our daughters (9 &12) were particularly taken. This property was perfect for a family of 4 but equally very well set up for privacy if 2 couples are staying. Good location for exploring - just A** all round.

Stargazy was perfect in every way, we could not have asked for more. A beautiful setting, with lovely views. The location of the cottage was ideal for both the North and South Coast, just a short drive away. Loved the Hot tub very relaxing. Owners were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back in the future.

We would highly recommend. Amazing views, peace and quiet but easy to access all areas of Cornwall, if you want to travel around. Dog friendly. Hot tub was lovely. Very comfortable bed. Deluxe bathrooms. The owners had thought of everything. Amazing

Absolutely fantastic property. We loved every single second. Quiet and tranquil setting with lots of space for the children to run around, they loved the animals too. Thanks for a great week, we will definitely be back In the future.

We stayed at Stargazy in late December during the festive break. On arrival we had a warm welcome from owners who made us feel instantly at home. Stargazy is a truly stunning property and the owners have thought of everything. There are even some books to read if you forget yours! We loved it so much we snapped up another week in July! Highlights include.. - The beautiful interior design. - The incredibly comfy beds. - The kitchen, which has everything you need to cook up a feast. - The hot tub, which was perfectly located to watch the beautiful sunsets over the fields. - The location as you can get to multiple towns/beaches with a very short drive. (Harlyn Bay is one of our favourite beaches!) We can’t wait to return in July!

What a superb week we have just spent at Stargazy. This cottage is superbly equipped , as comfortable as it looks online and is superb for just relaxing away from the world (but not too far though !) We couldn't rate this any higher and the owners next door were superb Frankly I could just waffle on about all of the facilities here but it is so much easier to tell you that they were all excellent. The parking outside the Co-Op in St Columb Major is a whole different story but I'll leave you all to find that one out for yourselves

This is a truly beautiful place to stay in every way. Lovely peaceful location yet close enough to our favourite places. Wonderfully kitted out with absolutely everything you might need and more (hot tub, large internet tv!). Just can't fault this property, plus owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go back again next year.

Our holiday at Stargazy was just perfect. The cottage is nicely located to offer enough adventure during your stay and so well equipped that you can enjoy so lazy days at home to. The hot tub was perfect for sunset dips. The facilities at Stargazy were really well thought to offer everything you might need during your stay.

We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and from start to finish it was perfect. Owners were friendly and welcoming. We had nothing but peace and quiet throughout our entire stay. The cottage was well equipped with everything you could have possibly wanted and needed and the decor was stunning.

Lovely cottage would recommend. Just be aware the main tv is internet only. Not that was a problem.

Perfect location for exploring the amazing Cornish coastline. Great facilities and extremely comfy bed in main bedroom. Our favourite cottage we have stayed in and we would return again and again! The location is perfect for visiting all areas of Cornwall and is very peaceful and quiet. The cottage overall is fantastic from the decor, to the facilities (especially the hot tub!) cleanliness and the overall atmosphere is perfect! Bryan and Karen are lovely and friendly hosts and are on hand if needed!

Stargazy was by far the nicest cottage we have stayed in. The cottage was clean with everything you would need for a break away. The views were amazing, we loved sitting at the firepit watching the sunset in the evening.

A beautiful property, well equipped, owners live next door and are very helpful, friendly and not intrusive in anyway. Great views, great outdoor space, great features and finishes. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. A number of great beaches within 15 minute drive

Stargazy what a perfect name for this beautiful cottage. It was so relaxing sitting in the hot tub looking up at the stars. On the evenings where the weather wasnt so kind we were so pleased to find games in the bookcase. Several games of cards and monopoly lasting until the wee hours of the morning in front of the cosy fire. The owners were so welcoming and have thought of everything you could possibly need. Will definitely be recommending and booking again

What a lovely place! Gorgeous decor, all very comfortable with an excellent, well-appointed kitchen. The bathrooms are very cool too! Convenient spot for lots of days trips to beaches - north and south coast - and lovely local towns. And felt like wonderful place to come back to in the evenings. Good enclosed garden space for my dog to scoot around. We really enjoyed our stay and were sorry to leave.
