Ginger Hideaway

Ginger Hideaway was just as described. It was very well furnished with all the facilities and equipment you could ever want. We had a very cozy stay and would happily return. It's location was excellent for discovering all the beautiful locations along the Atlantic highway.

Ginger Hideaway dis not disapoint an amazing space for some R&R and with the outside bath was just fabulous.Great location for exploring also. The property was warm and cozy and the welcome treats an added touch x

Ginger Hideaway is a beautiful property, lovely and spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet and has such a lovely outdoor space, perfect little retreat and the location is excellent to explore Cornwall. We can’t wait to come back and visit.

We were blown away by the facilities and attention to detail. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, the fire was pre-prepared with logs and kindling for more, we even arrived to eggs, butter, bread and milk. We were truly able to rest, reset and escape from the everyday whirring and business of life. The location is incredible and allowed us quick access to so many beautiful Cornwall treasures. We would absolutely come back again and we highly recommend this as a getaway!

We loved our stay at Ginger Hideaway. It was a fantastic location, a gorgeous space and the bed and bedding were so so comfy. Everything we might have needed was there and our little dog loved the garden and I loved the outside tub, even on a windy wet night it was heavenly.

The recliner sofa and jacuzzi bath were two additional details that we hadn't expected but were very pleased with. The welcome pack on arrival was extremely thoughtful. Every aspect of the property was delightful and we were genuinely upset to leave. We cannot find another holiday cottage that compares and we will definitely be looking to rebook as and when we return to Cornwall.

We had a fantastic time away in the most comfortable hideaway. The location is perfect for visiting all areas of Cornwall and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing every evening back here, enjoying time in the garden soaking in the outdoor bath and watching beautiful sunsets. Our dog Lily enjoyed spending time laying out on the terrace. We loved seeing the pigs and chickens nearby and the owners are very friendly. We don't go back to the same place usually as we like to try other places but we are going to book up here for next year as we had such a lovely relaxing holiday. Thanks x

This property is beyond perfect, the hosts are wonderful and helpful. We could not have hoped for a better stay in a perfect location. During our stay we said we wanted to tell everyone about this property but also didn't as wanted to keep it our secret.

Shhh! Don't tell everyone how lovely this place is. Ginger Hideaway is a perfect, peaceful retreat for a holiday in mid Cornwall. Everything you will need on holiday is provided which you don't always get in holiday properties. Nice welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs and butter. Would return.

A lovely cottage, decorated to a high standard with lots of nice touches. We took our dog and it was ideal to have the fenced in garden so he could wander in and out without us worrying he might escape! The large field next to the property (not secure) was great for us to walk with him and throw a ball! Good location, easy to get to Mawgan Porth and Padstow , owners friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.

This cottage is the perfect escape for a couple or single person-particularly with dogs. In a beautiful rural area, it has been styled and furnished with great care/love and the attention to detail by the owners was clearly evident. All mod cons are up to date and there are too many ‘little extras’ to list but they all added to a superb experience. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

we are so so happy we stumbled across ginger hideaway in search for a getaway. it was absolutely stunning. the location was perfect - so beautiful to be in the countryside and it felt ideal in that it was easy to get to places and we had so many options of where to explore! the actual cabin is so beautiful, better than in the photos (if that is even possible) - everything was so stylish, comfortable, clean, excellent quality. it felt like everything had been thought of/considered in the way that it was designed. it was lovely to have a secured outdoor space where we could let our puppy roam freely. the hot tub/bath was also such a lovely addition! 10/10 - a memory we’ll forever cherish and would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Ginger Hideaway It had everything we could have needed for a week away, great views, comfy and cosy and was and beyond our expectations ! By day one of our stay we had already booked and paid for another trip at Christmas ! Thank you to our hosts Sarah and Andy

There was a thoughtful food package - eggs, bread and butter plus milk in the fridge - on arrival, which was very welcome. The cabin was very well equipped - excellent supply of kitchen utensils, pots and pans and a useful utility room with helpful dog treats/dishes/sofa blanket etc. The bed was excellent, very large (one of the reasons we chose the property) and comfortable. The patio area is safe for a dog and the adjoining grassy garden area is handy for ball throwing but the fence surrounding it is open so a dog can nip through it if they are an escape artist. If the owners were happy to put up some wire mesh it would be perfect. There is also a good sized exercise field available. It's a good location for hopping off to various places - great beaches nearby, many dog friendly all year round. The owners live just across the way if you need anything.

The whole place is really homely and warm, with great views to the front. Great sitting out area. Beautifully decorated with lots of individual touches which made it feel special. Loved the sofa to recline on while watching TV or just relaxing. Very comfy bed. Really dog friendly. Great to have use of the large enclosed field for the dog to run in. Lots of space. Useful to have the 'boot room'. Definitely recommend!
