Commanding a prime position and with breathtaking views of the coastline and sea beyond, this fabulous Grade II Listed family abode sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and enjoys no less than 10 acres of grounds! A stunning Edwardian house, it is full of character and charm which blends seamlessly with modern day living, offering the perfect backdrop to a memory-making holiday that includes the family hounds.

This spacious, well-equipped seaside home will delight. Split over three floors, boasting seven bedrooms and sleeping 14 lucky guests, it's the ideal retreat for either a multi-generational family holiday or the perfect spot for a group of friends to come together and enjoy the delights of north Cornwall.

Inside there is oodles of space for all 14 guests to gather and plenty of options to find some quiet space on your own - hide and seek is a must or sit around the grand antique dining-table and enjoy a game of cards. It's just the place for large family holidays or marking a special event or occasion. The spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living-room is truly the heart of the house. The wonderful large kitchen is fully equipped allowing for the feast of all feasts to be rustled up by one and all! The cherry on top being the views out of the windows down to the sea! In contrast, to the front of the house, you will find the sitting-room boasting a cosy open fire, perfect for those out-of-season breaks and the snuggest of film nights.

Head upstairs to discover the wonderfully restful bedrooms, all styled in pretty colours and patterns and sure to provide a restorative night's sleep ready for the next adventure! Set over two floors you will find seven bedrooms, four on the first floor and a further three on the second floor, again those bedrooms to the back of the house enjoy the same wonderful sea views, with bedroom one benefitting from an en suite. Across the two floors you will find three bathrooms as well as a wet-room.

Head outside via the back door to enjoy the grounds where you will not be short of space, both the children and dogs can run and play until their hearts' content under the endless skies and glorious Cornish sunshine. With the coast in the background the perfect scene will play out before your eyes. Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed at this property.

Ms Compton

We would recommend Nancemellan to any large group of family and friends - it is a very lovely house, with great character and comfort. The local area is utterly beautiful, there is a pub and beach within walking distance and lots to see and do within a short drive. Of course, there is also an enormous table to sit around, chat and play games, eat and drink. A marvellous time was had by all.

Mrs Flint

Well eguipped comfortable house.Owner responded very quickly when a small issue needed to be resolved. We would certainly return and explore the countryside in greater depths.

Dr Tippett

A beautiful, grand and spacious house which is well equipped and close to the popular beach at Crackington Haven. The grounds are extensive with a wonderful view, but any small children require constant adult supervision outdoors here and should not be allowed to wander unaccompanied (dangerous drops, adders on site).

Ms Lynch

Comfortable old house with extensive accommodation in gorgeous location, walking distance from the beach and fabulous cliff top. Lovely comfortable beds.

Mrs Hammond

We had a very happy weeks holiday. House and grounds ideal for hide and seek! We really didn’t want to leave.

Dr Tippett

An exceptional property ideal for a large family group in a perfect location. Nancemellan is well equipped and fitted out to the highest standards.

Mrs Campbell-Jones

Stunning house, stunning gardens, stunning views. Amply accommodated a party of 13 plus dog and enabled a glorious week of walks, surf, pasties, ice cream, bbq, blackberry picking, boardgames, yoga and fun. Would come back time and time again. Thank you.
