Rose Lodge is simply stunning! Nestling in the pretty rural village of Blisland, with its traditional village pub and ancient church set around the village green, this little tucked away delight is a fabulous retreat for family and friends deserving of an extra special holiday. Open the door and prepare to be wowed with what lies behind. Impeccably styled with luxury in mind, and beautiful views of the countryside framed by the largest of picture windows, Rose Lodge invites you to instantly unwind and relax.

The reverse level accommodation, accessed at both first and ground floor levels, has the most impressive open plan living-room ideal for spending time together and making the most of the stunning setting. The super-stylish kitchen is a chef's delight and for those less able or willing to cook, you can take a pew at the kitchen island enjoying a cuppa or something a little stronger whilst the culinary masterpieces are being created. A step leads down to the sitting/dining area which takes pride of place in front of the bi-fold doors. Mealtimes will be a celebration on the handcrafted table and you can snuggle up on the comfy corner sofa that surrounds the wood-burner enjoying some TV viewing together - but with that view on offer out the window, you'll struggle to keep your eyes on the box!

Mr Keenor

Great modern property in a small village, easy accessible to all areas of local interest and exploring Cornwall . The local blisland pub offers great food with friendly staff. We are return visitors and would highly recommend this property.

Mr Cook

Booking our holiday through Classic Cottages was easy and the property we chose meet all our expectations. We will definitely be using Classic Cottages to book our next adventure.

Mr Robinette

Beautify place. Spotless and really well equipped. Beautiful garden.

Ms Curtin

Light and comfortable modern cottage in the scenic moorland village of Blisland - the pub and community shop are both walking distance and there are lovely walks on your doorstep. We particularly loved the uninterrupted views of the countryside and the generous living space; perfect for entertaining.

Mr Richards

Brilliant

Mrs English

Loved our last minute stay at Rose Lodge. Didn’t want to leave! Loved the Woodland walks along the river. Beautiful area and beautiful cottage. The bifold doors in living area are wonderful. Peaceful view. Enjoyed the pub quiz and meeting friendly people at the pub. Very much hope to return!

Miss Dudden

Beautiful lodge, in a stunning location, well equipped with everything we could possibly need and more. The lodge has been well thought through and is very comfortable. The local pub a stones throw away is delightful, fabulous food and made us very welcome. We were able to visit lots of pretty costal towns all within 45minutes drive All in all a lovely break away.

Mr Keenor

Excellent modern property, everthing you could wish for. Its in a quiet village within a short drive from wadebridge.

Mrs Harlen

Rose Lodge is a really lovely place to stay. Bright, modern and beautifully designed. Very well equipped kitchen & utility. Comfortable lounge and bedrooms. Gorgeous garden with the perfect corner to sit in the sun and relax. Wow factor bifolding doors in the sitting room give you a spectacular view across luscious green fields. The village has a great pub and shop and lots of walks if you have a dog. Short drive to either coast. Cardinham Woods & Lostwithiel very close by. Highly recommend.

Mrs Humphreys

Our stay at Rose Lodge was lovely. It’s a beautiful, clean, upside down property that has been furnished thoughtfully, with modern decor and beds to die for. In a lovely village, Blisland, with a very busy village pub that does decent food. There is a wonderful view from the beautiful bi-fold doors in the lounge area. The owner kindly left some very tasty home made brownies and Prosecco. Thank you! There are a couple of outside seating areas, but no lawn. Worth mentioning for anyone with an elderly dog, the driveway is very steep and also the side path to the garden. There is a door to the garden downstairs, but stairs are steep and our pooch is heavy and not able to do stairs himself. Happy to recommend this property.

Mrs Oboussier

Rose lodge is in a wonderful location for exploring the coast and Bodmin moor. The camel trail is just down the road, which will take you all the way to Padstow, glorious route. Don’t miss the fabulous cafe called ‘Snails Pace’ situated at the beginning of the trail. The local walks are extensive in the area but you really need a good ordinance survey map to guide you. That brings me to the well stocked, friendly village shop, where we picked up our map! Don’t hesitate to come this far inland it’s so beautiful and relaxing, I’m so glad we did.

Miss Hickman

Rose Lodge is just the perfect place for a holiday. Everything about it was just amazing! When you first walk in and you see the amazing open plan space with the large kitchen (which has everything you need!) and the beautiful view over the surrounding fields it's just perfect in every way. The log burner was a fantastic addition too. The property was spotlessly clean throughout and so spacious and modern. We loved the welcome brownies and the prosecco it was a really lovely touch for when we arrived. The location is great, in the small village of Blisland which is a picture perfect Cornish village. It's so quiet and peaceful there. The property itself is tucked away from the road, which is a quiet road anyway, so the location was just great. The beds are so comfy with beautiful furnishings and the bathrooms were amazing with a nice deep free standing bath in the main bathroom. We would definately stay here again, it was one of the best places we have stayed in by far!

Mrs Feachnie

We loved Rose Lodge, a beautiful house with stunning views and garden space. Peaceful and a great pub in the village to walk to in the evening.

Mr Keenor

Excellent setting in a quiet village. first class, spacious modern property , very comfortable and catered for all our needs. Would highly recommend.

Mr Tuckwell

Such a tranquil, beautiful lodge and situated in a friendly village in easy driving distance of the sea, restaurants, walks and towns. Such a lovely area.

Mrs Green

Rose Cottage was excellent, with the accommodation to a high level, beds comfortable, well equipped, good for our dog, Blisland village was lovely and for us, a great location for visiting the delights of North Cornwall with all the beaches accessible in around 30mins, Padstow, Wadebridge and surrounding areas. Would book again.

Mrs Cijntje

Superb property, and met all expectations.

Dr Lucey

A lovely, cosy and well equipped cottage in peaceful surroundings close to the village centre. Ideal for dog owners and/or walkers with plenty of options across fields and on the moors. Caters for six comfortably.

Mrs Boulton

We had a really lovely stay at Rose Lodge, even in November! It is a beautiful house, with very picturesque views over countryside. The house is well set out and has a fully equipped kitchen, incredibly comfy beds and a great big sofa for lounging on. The village of Blisland is what you expect a little English village to be like, pub, Church, village green and community run shop everyone was so friendly. Would highly recommend.

Mr Brasher

House extremely comfortable plenty of room for 5 people and dog beautiful garden in lovely friendly village

Mr Maskrey

Wonderful 'home from home' stay. Lovely walks from Rose Lodge and then to come back sit in front of the log fire and chill was perfect! The welcome pack was gorgeous, especially the homemade brownies!

Miss Whale

We absolutely loved Rose Lodge. It was wonderfully peaceful and the open-plan living space and huge picture windows made it a lovely place to stay for a (mostly) wet and windy week in September. Great quality furnishings and really well equipped. And so cosy and warm. Great central location for both north and south coasts and Cardinham woods. Perfect house for the dog who was kept entertained for hours standing by the windows watching the cows/birds/squirrels!

Mrs Slater

First class accommodation in an idyllic setting. All amenities within easy reach ideally located to explore the area. We were made to feel very welcome in the village.

Mr Wood

Rose Lodge was a dream - one of the best places I've ever stayed!

Mrs Burnell

We book a lot of cottages in different places and this one really met the description and our needs. Would definitely recommend.

Mrs Young

We all enjoyed our stay at Rose Lodge. The village location is lovely and being a similar distance to the North and South coasts enabled us to visit many lovely places, enjoy coastal walks and easily access the Camel trail just a few minutes drive away. The pretty village has a useful shop and popular pub and there are walks from the house. The lodge itself is a lovely place to stay and to come home to after a day out and about. The living area is well equipped and comfortable with a splendid view over fields. The garden is a lovely tranquil place to spend time relaxing. I really enjoyed time cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The laundry/ utility / shower area is a useful space too. We all considered the Lodge a fabulous holiday home - 2 adults and 2 teenagers, it met all our expectations and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Thank you too to the owners and house keeper who were very responsive and helpful.

Mrs Jones

Beautiful cottage in a good Location my only criticism would be that I don’t feel that the cottage is very dog or child friendly. Very slippery wooden floors and stairs throughout that the dogs struggled with. The garden as beautiful as it is, is landscaped with no grass for the dogs. Obviously dogs are not allowed on the foliage but that then only leaves them With a small paved patio.

Mr Dykes

Stunning property, loved everything about it. We will re-book.

Mr Goddard

Perfect cottage! Gorgeous views, so comfortable and well equipped. We loved it here

Mrs Collie

We had the most wonderful weekend here. Everything was immaculate and finished to the highest standard, lots of beautiful natural materials and wood everywhere but with contemporary design and finishes. It was spotless and beautiful but felt welcoming and cosy. We didn’t want to leave and our son just wanted to stay in as he loved it so much. Homemade brownies and Prosecco on arrival we’re a lovely surprise. Beds were so comfortable we all managed a lie in each day which is rare with a toddler! The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need and had very sharp knives which is hard to find in a rental cottage and helpful if you like to cook! We loved opening the doors from our bedrooms in the morning and taking in that lovely view. The owners had thought of everything and we could’ve happily stayed much longer. Well located for exploring both coasts of Cornwall. We’ll be back!

Mr Goldsmith

Superb cottage in a beautiful location. Lovely countryside views. Would highly recommend

Ms Wallis

Absolutely beautiful and comfortable home with glorious views. Easy to reach all the great attractions and the village of Blisland is welcoming and very pretty.

Mrs Lea

This property is 5star excellent. Everything has been added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The beds were so comfortable and the linens top quality. I cannot fault Rose Lodge.

Mrs Hawkins
