Moss Farmhouse

This was our second stay at Moss Farmhouse and the ten of us had a great weekend. It's a beautiful comfortable and spacious house with plenty of room to cook lovely meals in the well equipped kitchen. Loved the hot tub and the cinema room. The house is ideally placed for country walks or to drive to either the north or south coast. Our only complaint was our three night stay went far too quickly!

Really lovely cottage, the photos really do not do it justice. It's a really spacious and well thought out house. We would definitely stay again

Moss Farmhouse is a great find for large groups of all age groups. Interior design and decor a credit to the owners who have thought of everything. The cinema room provides entertainment facilities for all ages. The house could do with a few maps, local attractions to plan days out. Overall a wonderful holiday house!

We had a wonderful family holiday at Moss Farmhouse. The house is beautifully furnished and in a great location for visiting some lovely places in Cornwall. The hot tub was a great hit with all the family as was the cinema room and bar area. Would love to return.

Moss Farm is a beautiful property, perfect for 10 friends celebrating my husband’s big birthday. There is plenty of space to spread out or be together, plenty of comfortable seating for all and everything we needed for cooking for 10 people. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and very welcome after an afternoon walk out on the moor.

Moss Farmhouse was even better than our expectations and we enjoyed a fantastic family holiday (six adults made up of two grandparents, two sets of parents plus five children ages ranging from 11 to 10 weeks old) and with the weather only average we all made full use of the Farmhouse and all of its terrific facilities. Ideally located to visit Cornwall's attractions. We went to Bodmin, Looe, Padstow, Fowey and on the warmer days Carlyon Bay Beach, St Austell, and just a couple of bays around from Padstow, Harlyn Bay Beach. The Farmhouse is very spacious so plenty of places to have a bit of peace and quiet when the need arose. Thanks again for a memorable weeks holiday.

This was my second stay at Moss Farmhouse and it was every bit as good as the first. A really lovely home that accomadated our group of 6 with ease. We made good use of the hot tub and cinema room as well. I'm already looking at dates for next year and can't wait to return!

If you are looking for luxury, comfort and style, then Moss Farmhouse is the house for you. My husband and I, our four grown up daughters and their partners spend a fantastic week in this superb home. The space inside the house flowed so perfectly, with more that enough space for us all to gather or find a place for some quiet time. We enjoyed cocktails in the hot tub (plastic glasses provided), we danced, made and played music (piano and speakers provided!) and tested our skills at pool and darts! The laundry room was ideal for washing and drying beach towels and wetsuits, the bedrooms (all ensuite) were super comfortable and well furnished. Everywhere was spotless, the kitchen was really well equipped and all the appliances were clean and modern. There were even beds provided for our little dog. We would highly recommend Moss Farmhouse and we all agreed that we would like to return next year!

What a house! Nothing short of sublime. Tastefully decorated throughout. This property is perfect and every situation has been considered. From the utility room and drying area for when you return from the beach, to the cinema room and bar for your evening. Watching the stars from the hot tub was a joy. We just didn’t want to leave at the end of the week.

We had a lovely week at Moss Farmhouse and it was such a relaxing treat. The house was beautiful and absolutely spotless. The facilities are great and we all felt incredibly relaxed there. The local walks were fab and the the whole area is so quiet and peaceful. It's probably the nicest rental we've stayed at. We had a couple of queries and Jack got back to us quickly and sorted things out. He's a lovely guy and it was a pleasure to meet him. What a wonderful week!

We were unfortunate with the weather but the house completely made up for it. There were so many areas to use, we really enjoyed using the cinema room and the outside darts board and piano. We loved having the choice to eat at the more casual dining area or the larger table set for more people. The garden was so peaceful to sit in as was the jacuzzi.

Moss Farmhouse was even better than expected!! Absolutely nothing to comment on the negative side, and so nice of the owners to welcome their guests with scones and condiments:) The house is perfectly equipped in all matters, and the standard is high. Very beautiful in- and outside. We were a group of 9, and had lots of space for sosialicing, eating, relaxing and playing. The huge cleaningroom in the "barn" is super practical, but also as pretty as the rest of the house. Everything is thought of at Moss Farmhouse. Would love to come back to the house and spend another week in the future:) Miss it already, actually:)

Absolutely stunning house with luxurious facilities - it will totally exceed your expectations.

We were a group of 8 ladies on a walking holiday and all agreed this was one of the nicest holiday properties we've ever stayed at. There was plenty of space, with cosy corners as well as roomy communal areas for us to gather in. We also made good use of the cinema room which was a great space too. We had such an enjoyable stay I've already sent across a booking request for a return trip later in the year as this really is a gem. If you're on the fence just book it, you will not be disappointed!

Property exceeded all expectations, we have a break as a group of 10 friends each year and it is so difficult to find 5 good en suite bedrooms, this property fitted the bill exactly. We loved the games room and the men loved watching the rugby internationals on the huge TV. We walked to 2 pubs for lunch during our weeks stay, In Blisland and St Breward, lovely walks over the moors. I would not hesitate in recommending this property.

We booked this delightful property for my wife's big birthday and we all had the most amazing time at Moss Farm House. It's location means you can do all the usual trips to the coast and Bodmin Moor itself (which is surprisingly beautiful). The actual accommodation is a real home from home experience with different areas for eating and relaxing. The light open airy ground floor has a well appointed kitchen and is perfect for entertaining. There is a great hot tub and cinema/games room which kept our kids entertained. There are all the facilities you would need including a utility room with washing facilities. % beds (one with 3 beds) make it ideal for families but you never feel cramped. Really highly recommend this property - we will be going back for sure!

Our family of 5 (2 parents and 3 adult children) and 2 dogs had such a wonderful and relaxing week at Moss Farmhouse. The house is spacious, beautifully designed and furnished, and is very easy to live in. All of the bedrooms were of a good size and luxurious - no one felt they were hard done by. The cinema room was a huge hit for yoga and quiet online meetings during the day and movies at night. We have all enjoyed the moorland scenery on walks with the dogs (so easy as you literally fall out of the house) and also venturing further afield to the coastline. We are looking forward to coming back!

This is an amazing property, particularly for a large group. All of the bedrooms are lovely with everything provided. Great social spaces on the ground floor with the outdoor play barn a real bonus. The gardens are immaculate, a pleasure to look at & sit in if the weather is kind. A perfect ‘party house’ & base for visiting Cornish beaches if you are happy to drive a few miles.

Smashing property in great quiet location.

We stayed here as an extended family and had a wonderful time just being in this fabulous farmhouse and enjoying its luxurious furnishings. Definite plus is the hot tub, cinema / games room and huge laundry room ! Its location is perfect for out and about days exploring Cornwall attractions and towns and then home for a lovely cosy evening as our visit was in November. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Moss Farmhouse really is worth five stars. I would give it six stars if there was such a thing. Its in a quiet location but sheltered from the moorland winds. All the 5 bedrooms were lovely (no little pokey one you sometimes get) the kitchen was like something from a magazine with all the equipment you would need for a large party. Outside there is ample parking and the fabulous cinema /games room and barn bar... ideal for BBQs if the weather is bad. There is a large bike store and an incredible laundry / wet room ideal when you come back from muddy walks. The hot tub was well used too - so don't forget your swimming togs (towels and bath robes supplied)

What a wonderful time we have had at Moss cottage! It is catering to all needs you can imagine: hot tub, pool, darts, tv room and the cottage itself is beautifully furnished and very stylistically designed. Not far from the cottage is a picturesque stream and also the moor itself, with its prehistoric "Stonehenge" like stone circle is beautiful. Highly recommended!!! We have had bliss in "Blisland".

We had such a wonderful week at Moss Farmhouse - what a beautiful place to stay! Both the house and garden were so well presented and comfortable. We and the teens with us enjoyed the games room and hot tub. A very peaceful location but lots of great places to visit within a half hour drive. Would love to stay again.

Moss farm is a beautiful property, very well located in the Bodmin moore. It is decorated to a very high standard and thoughtful provisions are in place. The hot tub is a great addition and the flower beds beautiful. The pool table, dart board and cinema room were great entertainment for the whole family. We had a wonderful stay and will look forward to returning in the future.

A high quality and nicely finished house, but unfortunately internet access terminates at 9.45 PM every evening and is not available at all during weekends.

We loved everything about this excellent property . Quiet rural location with lovely short walk to pretty river and other walks over the moor. . Property was well planned beautifully furnished and well equipped and very clean . We were 6 adults 2 children 3 babies and 2 dogs and it was excellent for all of us with plenty of space to relax. We arrived to some lovely homemade scones and Prosecco and some other goodies which was so lovely after our very long drive . Very welcoming and helpful owner . We would all love to return.

This place was just perfect. cottage was amazing decorated to a high standard with everything you needed hut tub was an added bonus great for relaxing after a long walk on the moors and we loved the games room for unwinding at the end of the day couldn’t have wished for a better location 10 minutes up the road and you were on the moors the dogs loved it

We had a wonderful week at Moss Farmhouse, celebrating our daughters wedding, we were lucky to be able to book the place at fairly late notice as our other booking from a different holiday firm cancelled last minute leaving us without a large holiday home to stay in, so grateful that we found Moss Farmhouse it was absolutely perfect, and has left us with some beautiful memories of this special week, thankyou

Wonderful farmhouse, in a completely private lovation just off the moor. Short walk to the river and the moor, great for dogs. Lots of ponies and sheep. Watched the sunset one evening on the moor, was beautiful. Everything finished to a very high standard, we loved it. Amazing games area for some fun in the evenings and a lovely hot tub. Yummy treats for us and the dog on arrival! We loved it, would definitely stay again.

A stunning property and perfect location !

Wonderful welcome at Moss Farm! It was so peaceful, spacious and super equipped for large family. Very clean and amazing decor and furnishings throughout we were in total luxury for a week. Cinema room , darts and pool table set away from the main house was fantastic for evening entertainment and super laundry room too ! The Garden is beautiful with large drive and gated surrounded by farmland and animals. A small walk to the bridge with river to swim paddle and back to the hot tub. Its a peaceful location and highly recommend this property for families with TV in each bedroom and en-suites too. The Host has thought of everything for a lovely family holiday. Thank you.

We had a great stay at Moss Farmhouse. A lovely property that is designed with quality in mind. The Mancave is a great addition to the property with a huge tv that would be the envy of any family! The handmade scones on arrival where a lovely touch, would definitely recommend.
