Come and spoil yourself at Mandalay - our super stylish retreat with stunning interiors, far reaching views, a bubbling hot tub, cosy wood-burner and three gorgeous bedrooms each with their own en suite - it's a special place for family and friends to gather for a memorable holiday.

Set on the edge of the moorland village of St Breward, home to Cornwall's highest pub The Old Inn, wrap yourself in a slice of luxury with impeccably presented interiors befitting of an interior design magazine…even the cloakroom and utility-room are stylish. All on one level, the open plan living-room is the main event with huge windows that frame the breathtaking view, it's the perfect excuse to simply relax and take it all in. The sleeping sanctuaries have super comfy beds adorned with plump cushions and gorgeous throws and bedspreads, for when you need an extra snuggly layer. Large sliding doors make the rooms light and airy and invite you to step out with a wake-me-up cuppa or a relaxing nightcap.

Mandalay is made for outdoor moments, whether relaxing in the sunshine or al fresco dining on the large decking area, enjoying a moonlit soak beneath star studded skies in the hot tub or singing around the toasty fire-pit on chillier nights.

Customer reviews

Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed at this property.

Mr Baker

Lovely, well appointed, very clean, beautifully designed bungalow. There are fantastic views across to the west, with Wadebridge and the Camel estuary in the far distance. Fantastic sunsets and opportunity to star gaze from the hot tub. Nice quiet location. Easy access to the moors for walking, and can recommend the Old Inn for food. We will definitely return.

Mrs Faulkner

We absolutely loved staying at Mandalay, such a beautiful property. Everything had been thought of, from tea and coffee to laundry pods, we didn't need for anything and the homemade brownies went down very well!! We would most definitely stay again.

Mrs Bettle

We had a amazing stay at Mandalay, it is a fantastic property, amazing views especially when relaxing in the hot tub after a day at the beach. The location and the house is beautiful I wouldn't change anything.

Clark

Immaculate property with stunning decor and finishes inside and out! We had the most wonderful weekend relaxing by the wood burning stove, drinking wine in the hot tub, and making the most of the beautiful (and well equipped) kitchen to eat while we were there. The dogs loved it too and we enjoyed exploring the moors nearby.

Mr Widdicombe

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is very well equipped with beautiful views. We found both the outside and inside of the property to be suitable for a member of our group who has limited mobility which made things easier. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

Mr Williams

If you are looking for a cottage with a view well this is the one with lots of space, it's very secure and if you are looking for walks and a pub well these are just around the corner and the neighbours are very friendly to talk to and helpful in directions of places to see. We had a lovely time and would go back to this cottage again. But well done to the owners as it is a very nice place. Thanks... GJKDA

Mrs Jackson

A lovely property and the added bonus of a hot tub in the garden with stunning views across the valley. Inside the house is nicely decorated and comfortable but the kitchen lacked some basic equipment and the garden is not secure for dogs.

Mr Littlejohn

Over 100 miles of uninterupted countryside views spanning across fields to the coastlines and twinkling lights of wadebridge etc. Such a quiet house and quiet location - this was very important to us and the house and location delivered! Hot tub and fire pit so nice. When sitting on the sofa in the evening, it's a challenge to watch any TV as your eyes are drawn to the views out of the patio :-)

Mr Berry

This home is beautifully thought out, stunning views, friendly village, a perfect home away from home.

Mrs Entwisle

A super property with lovely views. Very well furnished and equipped. Well located for north and south coasts. Plenty of parking.
