Fabulous dog-friendly cottage in quiet rural area. Hosts exceedingly welcoming! Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay with easy links to main routes for sightseeing around Cornwall.

The old dairy is very well equipped and very comfortable. The owners are welcoming and helpful. The welcome pack was very thoughtful with lovely treats. The hot tub was great. We took our dog but we’re a little disappointed at the lack of ‘off lead’ walks available Close by. These were a drive away. I would definitely recommend the cottage to stay but be prepared to drive a fair distance on minor roads to get to main tourist spots.

Our second stay at the Old Diary and yet again perfect. Beautiful cottage, beautiful location and great hosts with every detail thought of. We would highly recommend.

The Old Dairy was exceptional! All you needed and more for a self-catering cottage. It was immaculate throughout and a lovely location for us. Just what we were after to recharge. The owners were great, leaving little gifts from Cornwall on our arrival. Such as local chocolates, crackers and gin and tonics. We would most definitely return again.

Ideal location, 30 minute to the nearest beach on the west and 50 minutes to beaches in the south. Location very peaceful and calming, great for when using the hot tub. Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay.

Excellent stay at the Old Dairy having stayed at the neighbouring Molly's Barn a few years ago. Great meals out at The Rising Sun only a mile away. Lovely peaceful location and great to have use of the hot tub. Lovely owners who although are on hand close by they are by no means intrusive . Dexter loved the fully enclosed paddock to run around in and play ball. Such an addition to know your four legged friend is safe to be off his lead a huge bonus!! Lovely cosy retreat with everything you need, plenty of space and a great secure paddock for the dogs (& everyone else) to run around! Within easy reach of the coast for day trips.

Cottage went above our expectations, was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Hot tub was a delight after a long day exploring. The owner was on hand if needed and always there to help. We had such a lovely week in the delightful cottage.

Absolutely loved this cottage. Exactly as advertised. Very well equipped kitchen. Host really great and little extras really appreciated. Hot tub for us and paddock for our dog was excellent. Great location for seeing north Cornwall. Easy walk to the village of Altarnun.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Dairy. Its position is ideal for visiting both North and South of the County. It is very quiet and has great facilities. The field for the children to play in is a great addition with footballs and other play equipment provided - there is even a goal! The property is really well equipped with everything you will need. Having and dishwasher and washing machine/dryer is a great addition. The hot tub is lovely to come back to after a busy day sightseeing. We would love to return.

Wonderful , Quiet location. Very comfortable & cosy but spacious . Easy access to all areas via Bodmin moor or A30. Kind & Thoughtful goodies on arrival. Well organised info pack available to hand. My husband and I plus fur baby were all made to feel very welcome and had a lovely and much needed relaxing break.

A lovely homely cottage which is furnished to a high standard, with a well equipped kitchen and a hot tub which is a nice extra after a day of walking and sightseeing. The host greeted us just after arrival and left us a welcome pack which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this cottage if you wish to stay in a more remote and rural part of Cornwall.

The Old Dairy is extremely comfortable and well equipped. It's located in a quiet little hamlet with good local walking and it's within easy reach of the beautiful North Cornwall coast. We loved the hot tub and used it most days before our evening meal. We would recommend highly.

We had a wonderful two weeks in The Old Dairy. The owners have created the perfect holiday home, with comfortable furnishings and everything you could possibly need, from a knife sharpener to a fishing net. A big plus for us was the hot tub which was a real treat to come back to at the end of the day. It’s in a really beautiful area and was well placed for visiting both the north and south coasts of Cornwall. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

A beautiful property kitted out with everything you could need for the perfect stay. The hosts left us some ‘welcome treats’ which were gratefully received, and there were even some goodies for our children. So thoughtful. We loved having access to the field so that our children could play freely, and of course the hot tub was a luxury we all looked forward to each evening after a day at the beach. Highly recommended and will be rebooking. Thank you Jane and Mike.

Our fourth visit to the Old Dairy and we certainly plan to return next year. The new addition of the hot tub is fantastic and we made great use of it. Everything is perfect and the owners Mike and Jane could not be more welcoming.

Mine, my mother's and my dog Raffles's third visit and can't wait to go back for a fourth, and fifth, sixth.... It's just perfect, so quiet with just the sound of birds and lambs bleating. The welcome goodies are local produce are lovely and the extra bonus of fresh asparagus! Mike and Jane are so welcoming and keep the Old Dairy in tip top condition.

In a word, perfection. Spotlessly clean, high quality equipment and a very relaxing break.

The Old Dairy is situated in an idilic location. Lovely owners of this modern barn conversion. Loved the open fire, oak stairs and floor. The 'goodies' upon arrival of fresh, local produce is a winner. Plus, the lovely home grown veg which Mike and Jane left on the door step were delicious! Will be booking another stay at The Old Dairy.

Having spent several holidays in the past 15 years in the UK, we can safely say that this is the best self catering property we have stayed in. It was absolutely wonderful! The property itself is stunning, the owners were lovely and helpful - they provided a great welcome pack for us including magazines for the kids, stuff for the dog and local products for the adults. There is a field available to walk/exercise the dog which was very helpful. The beds were super comfy - I could go on and on! It was perfect and we have no hesitation in recommending this property. We will definitely return!

The Old Dairy exceeded our expectations in every way, the welcome pack was superb, the finish and the quality of the place was really exceptional. The cottage is tucked away down a beautiful leafy lane, and the sense of peace and quite is perfect. This was the perfect get away from it all venue, and it has the benefit of being within 10 miles or so of some wonderful beaches, and is in the midst of stunning countryside.

A lovely property, with a high standard of furnishings and equipment. The kitchen had everything that you needed for a pleasant holiday plus more.The owners were very friendly but discreet. Bertie the dog really enjoyed his stay. We shall return.

The owners had literally thought of everything. Plugin lights for the hallways, baby bath foam and talc, doggie blanket, poo bags, bone and bowl. Utterly amazing. They really had thought of everything. Even tin foil and cling film. I've booked many cottages and have always taken this sort of stuff knowing it wouldn't be there. Hats off to these guys. By far the best cottage I've had the pleasure of staying in.

A fantastic barn conversion. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Right on the edge of Bodmin moor with amazing walking. Also close to coast, both north and south. So peaceful and quiet and would definitely recommend to others.

The property was lovely. Everything we needed and more The best we have stayed in. All the rooms were finished and furnished to a very high standard. The bathrooms were very clean and lovely and warm.

What an exceptionally thought out quality holiday cottage this is. It has been beautifully converted by the owners Jayne and Mike and makes for a wonderfully comfortable base which is hard to tear yourself away from. The patio is south facing and secluded with comfortable reclining chairs. TV's in each room and lots of little extras in the welcome pack set the scene for a great holiday. There is much to visit locally within a 30 min drive both along the coast and inland. We particularly enjoyed the dramatic scenery of the costal path nearby. Thank you Jayne and Mike for a very enjoyable holiday, we would not hesitate to book one of your lovely cottages again.

Beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated. A dream home! You won't want to leave! Very, very relaxing. A great place to stay with friends or family. Perfect as a romantic retreat. Dogs made very welcome. Fantastic field to safely roam in. So easy to get to the coast. Lots of beaches/places of interest within 30 mins drive. There's even a lovely country pub wihinin easy walking distance!

The Old Dairy is the perfect base to explore everything that North Cornwall has to offer. Padstow, Watergate Bay, Polzeath, Trebarwith Strand and many other places are all within easy reach. It is also the perfect place to return each evening after you're done exploring.

Beautifully appointed... We had a great week on what was our first visit to Cornwall. Two days were slightly compromised a bit by heavy rain, but the cottage provided a superb bolthole, being comfortable, spacious and in short a 'home from home' and as such we were able to pass the time in relaxing comfort. Would definitely recommend it as a great base for exploration. 'Welcome Pack' was well thought out and had essentials including a ready chilled bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival! All in all... It was great!
