Customer reviews

Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed at this property.

Mrs Bresnen

We loved staying here. The beds were so comfortable, it had a great kitchen and equipment. And very clean . This is the best accommodation I have ever stayed in.

Mr Ahmed

I’d really recommend this place, spacious and clean. Great location.

Mr McCarron

We loved it at Cae Cwsg the house is amazing, very roomy with space and lovely garden areas. It is very well equipped, furnished and the beds very comfortable. The view out to sea from the patio windows which stretches across the sitting and dining room is magical as are the views from the Velux windows in the rooms upstairs. The second sitting area on the landing is a great place to have quiet time. There are lots of games, popular films for not so good days but the weather was kind for our visit. Don’t be put off if it’s little breezy or overcast as when you walk down to the beaches locally (about 20 min walks) they have a microclimate thing going on and we found the weather differed most days favourably. The area is outstandingly beautiful whether it be the surrounding hamlets, the countryside or coastal areas, which are all unspoilt and very traditional. The locals are very friendly and clearly proud of the area in which they live. If you like wildlife it’s all around, we spotted a local bird of prey surveying the valley (not sure what kind it was), during our dusk dog walks the bats flew above us, a local fox roams the garden in the evenings and to top it all we spotted dolphins in the bay one day. Car Cwsg is definitely a place we will visit again :-)

Mr Hagan

You will not be disappointed with this property. It really is very nice and well equipped. Large gardens and field for children/dog to play in. Location is excellent for touring the west coast of Pembrokeshire . Access to the property is down a very narrow lane. The small beach is only 5 minutes away and has a coffee shop which does meals until about 5pm. The village shop/petrol station is well stocked for essential foodstuffs.

Mr Light

We were very pleased with this house, which is in its own very extensive grounds with lovely views over the fields to the sea. Sitting on the veranda, relaxing with a suitable drink looking over to the sea is a great experience. The house its self is very well maintained with every amenity you could wish for and the bottle of "bubbly" and cake left for our arrival was a great surprise and very much appreciated. As the weather was very wet during our stay, we were very happy that we had such a lovely house to return to.

Mrs Alabaster

We had the most amazing stay, the location is fantastic and only a short walk to the beach. The living room and kitchen had everything we need and the upstairs is lovely. There are a few things that could be improved however we would definitely stay here again.
