Mr Smith
Excellent cottage, ideally located and had everything we needed and very helpful owners
Mrs Tayler
A charming cottage in a lovely location - quiet and convenient.
Mrs Marshall
Nice location but very tired property. Not ideal for people with mobility problems. Steep steps on decking.
Mr Kershaw
Website was great, but it suggests a premium product. And it was not a premium feeling cottage, average at best. I even think that we are being very generous, the cleanliness would certainly put some people off completely.
Mrs Pugh
IOW is a beautiful, unique rubbish free Island. Dairy Cottage is set in a very quiet area lovely if you want a peaceful get away. The farm offers a Lovely base.
Mrs Roberts
This was a very well equipped cottage. Comfy sofa and chairs to sit on after a day site seeing. We were just 2 but the cottage could have been used by 4 people. The location was very quiet about 15 minutes drive to/from Yarmouth. This would be the ferry route that we would recommend Lymington to Yarmouth. Good for "dark sky viewing" if you are interested in the stars. Easy access to other routes although through country lanes. The south road of the island was well worth a drive. Very scenic with quite a number of stopping places along the road to stop and view the scenery. West Wight Alpacas are a mere 10 minute walk from the cottage - they were great to walk. The cafe on the Alpaca site offered a varied menu of meals and snacks. They had just started to do breakfasts on some days, which we tried out. A visit to Osbourne House is a "must". Great history, gardens and beach. Recommend becoming a member of English Heritage as Osbourne House, Carrisbrooke Castle and Yarmouth Castle are all part of EH. A lovely cottage and location and would definitely recommend.
Ms Nicholls
I would certainly recommend this place if you want somewhere that feels like your own and you know your dogs are secure in their own outdoor space. Particularly loved the elephants made from towels. Lovely touch! Hosts had pretty much covered most things. Would definitely go again.
Mrs Conolly
The kids loved the farm and interacting with the animals. The owners were really friendly and helpful. It was a good location for visiting lots of different beaches and attractions. We particularly liked Osborne House, the model village, Shanklin beach and Ventnor. The Wight Mouse pub was great food and lots for the kids to do. Overall, very good value and we all had a lovely week.
Mrs Thurgood
Wonderful hosts, idyllic unspoilt countryside setting. Late summer and the oak trees are dripping with fresh green acorns and the horse chesnut trees weighed down with conkers. You'd be bonkers not to like the conkers.
Ms Boyce
Gorgeous little cottage that had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Thanks for having us!
Mr Dillon
We had a lovely week in Dairy Cottage, and enjoyed having such easy access to the West Wight and some stunning countryside - you're only two minutes off the Hamstead Trail which runs North to South. The cottage was bright and spacious, and we made a lot of use of the outdoor seating area, enjoying the birdsong and the sunshine. A couple of homely touches - a shoe rack, coat hooks - and maybe a little more worktop space in the kitchen would make it perfect, but that's very picky of us!
Mrs Williams
Nice clean cottage in a lovely location & friendly owners.
Mr Chaney
Good base for exploring the island and on a bus route if you want to leave the car behind
Ms Hanney
Great location but cottage needs sprucing up.
Mr Attrill
Wonderful farm cottage with a short drive to the beach. It’s peaceful and relaxing. Been before and would go back in a heat beat. Owners are very friendly and approachable.
Ms Ryan
We loved our stay at Dairy Cottage. We relaxed very quickly and enjoyed the calm atmosphere of the farm. The garden area to the front was ideal to have breakfast and for us and our 2 little dogs to enjoy the sun ?? it was an easier cycle ride than expected to Yarmouth and plenty of walks close by.
Mr Smith
Host was welcoming and unobtrusive . Grounds are pleasant.
Mrs Higgs

Just had a lovely stay at Dairy Cottage. The cottage has everything you need to self-cater, with lots of kitchen equipment. It's a beautifully quiet location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Mr Attrill
Very friendly hosts who offered advice and recommendations as well as a comfortable stay. Lovely idyllic location which enabled us a break and feel like we were abroad!
Mrs Wright
It was a lovely warm cottage in a good location. However it had obviously been sadly neglected and needs a good refresh.
Mr Penrice
Planning to go away with a 6 week old was stressful but we definitely made the right choice. We absolutely loved our stay in Dairy Cottage. The cottage was cosy and clean with everything we needed -felt like a home away from home. Thank you!
Mrs Langwade
A perfect blend of country get away and seaside fun.
Mr Panks

Lovely little cottage -- very cosy and ideally situated to explore the West side of the Isle of Wight.
Mrs Irwin
I have never complained about a self catering property ever. We have been self catering for at least 30 years. We were very disappointed in the comfort of this cottage. It was shabby.
Mr Taylor
In the star rating below we would rate it between poor and good.
Mrs Beasley
The whole cottage needs some TLC and a good deep cleaning
Mrs Huggett
Very good short stay. Dairy Cottage is lovely and comfy and warm in the colder nights. Would recommend, great for dogs too!
Mrs Moore
An excellent, quiet location, ideal for exploring West Wight.
