The Stables

Welcome to The Stables, a romantic getaway for two! Close to the seaside town of Ventnor, with its beautiful beachfront, you can explore this corner of the Island and then retreat back to your private patio to enjoy the sunset. With walking galore, either straight from the door or pack a picnic and spend some time along the coast path and take in those spectacular coastal views.

Once you are inside you will find a calm and relaxing space, the open plan living area is tastefully furnished and offers every comfort for your break away. This sociable space means the chef can whip up a delightful meal whilst being kept company. In the warmer months go through the back door and enjoy the outside space on offer - the hot tub is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy some quiet time. The log-burner makes for a cosy room to end the day's adventure when the weather cools off, curl up in front of the flickering flames and enjoy a book or two.

The bedroom has been thoughtfully put together to make sure that guests get a good night's sleep after a day exploring. The bathroom finishes off the accommodation on offer with a roll-top bath and shower - perfect for washing off those sandy toes!

Al fresco moments can be found on the patio, from morning coffee to an afternoon drink after a walk across the local fields.

Guests can take advantage of the indoor swimming pool and shower/steam room shared with the owners and guests at two other holiday properties. You can book private use of the pool - between the hours of 8am and 8pm - for an hour's visit. However, please note, these facilities are closed annually for maintenance, from 1 January to 14 February.

The Stables welcomes up to four dogs and dogs stay for free. Once you book, the owner will be in touch to discuss their generous 40% ferry discount with you.
