Fernsdale
Right in the heart of Seaview village, this semi-detached property has been completely renovated with a Skandi theme to offer a wonderful place to stay on the Isle of Wight. Just a few minutes' walk from the seafront, Seaview Yacht Club and a choice of places to eat, Fernsdale has everything you could wish for in a holiday by the sea.
There is a charming courtyard garden with outdoor seating and barbecue, complete with outdoor shower to rinse off the sand between your toes. The ground floor is mainly open plan, the fully fitted kitchen leads through to a spacious, light and airy sitting/dining-room with a log-effect gas fire as a focal point. There is a lovely large dining-table to enjoy family mealtimes and plenty of soft seating to relax, enjoy a film or snuggle around the fire on cooler evenings. The first floor is accessed via a spiral staircase, younger ones in the family please take care. The three bedrooms have been beautifully decorated, two doubles and a bunk bedroom with an additional single bed for flexibility; there's a complementary colour scheme and design throughout the whole property. The family shower-room is also on the first floor with a large shower cubicle; a further toilet and wash-basin are on the ground floor. There is parking for one car at the side entrance of the property.

Super convienant location with added bonus of off street parking. Updated courtyard garden is a great addition. We enjoyed eating at the outside table and relaxing in the afternoon sun.
Mr Hurrie
We had a fantastic break on the Isle of Wight. Really enjoyed the property we stayed in and the location in the lovely village of Seaside. Highly recommend Classic cottages. No 1 in service and tops in accommodation.
Mrs Guppy
A wonderful cottage in the centre of Seaview. We liked the crisp, white decor and the open plan layout downstairs - just the right size kitchen leading into a large dining area and living room. The courtyard area was great for outside dining too. I am sure we will be back.
Mrs Newbury
Lovely cottage, quiet village but perfect location for us. Walking distance to a beautiful dog friendly beach (all year round) which is a major plus for us, just be aware of tides as unable to access beach on high tide. Fabulous pub a couple of mins away over looking the sea - we went twice for food and several times just for drinks. As the description says, the spiral staircase may be an issue for young children and people with mobility issues
Ms Thomas
It was great that we were able to charge our electric car on the drive way and we paid a bit extra to charge. We liked being so close to the sea and the village centre too.
Miss Brown
Fernsdale is a lovely, comfortable, nicely styled house in a great location in Seaview, just a few minutes' walk from the seafront. Do beware of the spiral staircase though - this makes the property only suitable for those very able in body and with small suitcases!
Dr ROWE
We have used Classic cottages several times now and the places we stayed were always done to a beautiful standard They are are go to first choice.
Miss Corteen
Don't stay here - they are so tight you'll have to buy your own soap, toilet roll and dishwasher tablets.
Mrs Woodhouse
Very much enjoyed staying at Fernsdale.
Mrs Comley
A spacious and comfortable property, well equipped , lots of storage and in a great location.
Mrs Bishop
Light and spacious accommodation in every room really enjoyable house stay with nice ambience. Centrally located in Seaview can walk to all the local shops beach and the hotel so no need to drive. Always a lovely plus of staying in Seaview. The spiral staircase not suitable for young children or elderly at the house. Was tricky for fittish adults with luggage! But completely fine. Would definately book again.
Ms Watson-Smyth
Fabulous house but without access to the washing machine or dryer, it was difficult to enjoy our English beach holiday
