Blackberries
A warm Isle of Wight welcome awaits you at Blackberries, a pretty coastal cottage which offers a peaceful escape for families, small groups or couples alike, in the delightful sailing village of Seaview. Beautifully furnished throughout, extended and refurbished in 2023 by its lovely owners, this perfect holiday home is on a quiet residential road, ideally located just a short walk to the heart of the village, local community shop and Lily's Cafe for your coffee and croissant, what more could you need!
The comfortable sitting/dining-room is on the ground floor, with plenty of space to sit back and relax. After a day of exploring the Island, you will appreciate heading back to Blackberries with some local produce to cook up the perfect feast in the modern kitchen, complete with utility-room. Walking through from the utility is the ground floor shower-room - just the spot to wash sandy toes.
There are doors leading out from the dining-room to the garden, ideal on those warmer days to let the fresh sea air fill the house. The sunny rear garden is enclosed and can also be reached by a side gate, which is perfect for guests bringing bikes. After long beach-filled days enjoy a leisurely barbecue as the sun sets or on cooler evenings, cosy up by the fire with a glass of something special.
The stylish and thoughtfully furnished bedrooms are all located on the first floor, with the spacious king-size double bedroom overlooking the front of the property and the twin and double bedrooms having views of the rear garden.

Mrs Dillon
Blackberries was a really comfortable home from home in a very pleasant village. Every utensil and machine we needed to make our stay a happy one. Even an outside shower and just a walk from the beach and restaurants.
Mrs Noble
Very conveniently located for the village and the Duver. Lovely quiet road, with no difficulty parking. Dog proof garden.
Mr Steel
Good value overall and great location. Only one bathroom so if there are six of you might be a problem but there is a toilet outside. No problem parking outside the house. Enclosed garden great for dogs and kids. WiFi good but both TVs old tech.
Mrs McAvan
Beautiful property, well equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, with a lovely garden in a great location.
Mr Coulter
We have stayed at this property for years, now and I would recommend it and Seaview in general to everyone, it's great.
Mr Coulter
This house is marvellous. We have stayed here on and off for years and it never loses its appeal. It's well maintained, comfortable, clean, the beds are comfortable and the mattresses nearly new, the back garden is a nice place to while away time not spent on the beach, which is in itself, only around 100m away.
Mr Williams
This is a very comfortable, well equipped house in a great location for walks, pubs and cafes, and touring the Isle of Wight. We’d be very happy to return.
Mr Brady
This is a lovely sized house in an excellent location. It has everything you want with space to spread out. The seafront only being a short walk from the front door.
Mr Westwood
Blackberries is a beautiful cottage, perfectly located to enjoy the beach, The Old Fort and of course Lilley's for a coffee and pastry!
Mrs McAvan
Beautiful house, has everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday, perfect location with a very well kept sun trap of a garden
Mr Hodgkinson
Great location and ample space for a small family.
Mrs McAvan
Perfect location, beautifully kept house with all the home comforts you need, sun trap of a garden, would highly recommend
Mr Coulter
We have stayed at Blackberries on numerous occasions, which is a testament to the actual property and the level of upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness. I my opinion there are a number of things a property needs to provide in order to make it outstanding, which are: comfortable beds: a good, clean shower, something comfortable to sit on, light fittings that work and appliances that work. We have stayed in many holiday lets over the years, all over the South of the Country and none has consistently, year after year, managed to achieve the standard the Blackberries does. Thank you.
Mrs Charles
We were very happy with the cottage and I will definitely be looking to booking again in the future.
Mr Bellamy
A welcoming and comfortable house, with a lovely garden and in an ideal location.
Mr Coulter
A nice house, in a nice setting and only a stone's throw form the beach; what more could one ask for.
Mrs Birchall
We had a wonderful family holiday at Blackberries with our 2 young children. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed a barbeque on the back garden, daily walks into Seaview for ice cream, a meal at the hotel or to play on the beach.
Mrs Nelson
A lovely homely house, great proximity to the beach and village. Seaview is by far our favourite area to stay in, very safe beach with rock pools when the tide is out and plenty of sand for the little ones.
Mrs Thompson-Green
Really enjoyed our stay at Blackberries in Seaview. The garden is a relaxing sun trap. Already booked for next stay! :-) The Green Family
Mrs Arber
