This place is a hidden gem and deceptively bigger than it looks. The anentites snd space are excellent we all loved it. So handy for beachfront and bars.

Comfortable well equipped house in great location. Great that it is dog friendly with easy access garden.

Alcantara is a superb family-size rental property close to the Seaview foreshore and village - we have returned many times and already planning our next trip

We had a lovely holiday with our grandchildren - weather was brilliant, property was very good and had a relaxed feel to it. Walked the dog every morning at Duver. Everybody happy!!

We stay at Alcantara twice a year It has everything we could wish for & more, beautiful clean spacious house, perfect for my disabled mother as it has a downstairs en-suite bedroom Lovely quiet location, 5 minutes walk to the sea. A lovely well equipped house and sun trap garden within minutes walk from the excellent community shop, pub and beaches.

Our four night stay at Alcantara in Seaview on the Isle of Wight was excellent. The house had everything we needed and was particularly well equipped for one member of our party who couldn’t manage stairs so had the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The location is perfect with a less than 5 minute walk down to the beach . Staying in late December, we weren’t expecting good weather, the space in Alcantara allowed us to play games, do a huge jigsaw and generally relax and catch up with family. The kitchen and dining facilities allowed a lovely communal space to eat and chat. A lovely place to stay. We would love to revisit in the summer

This was our second visit to this attractive and well equipped cottage. The location is quiet and very good for walking to the beaches and the community store. The down stairs bedroom is perfect for the less mobile, but the stairs are steep if there are two older couples or children with mobility problems. The garden is charming and the house is dog friendly. We have already booked our next holiday there! Would strongly recommend.

The cottage was excellent, very well appointed and clean. It had everything that is needed for a short stay. The village took me back many years to my childhood with few shops and narrow streets. We found this really refreshing in the midst of the razzmatazz of the the modern world. A short walk and you are on the beach and a slightly longer walk and you are back heading towards Ryde. This is a fantastic location and we would love to return.

Alacantara is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The best thing about Alacantara is the very short walk to the beach. Seaview is very small and the community shop supplies the essentials but there is big supermarket 10 minutes away in Ryde.

Alcantara is a beautiful house in a lovely quiet road It is central to so many lovely beaches; only a five minute walk to the costal walk We love it so much we stay here twice a year Highly recommend Many thanks classic cottages

A comfortable, spacious house in an ideal location.

Fantastic cottage. We loved the location, and the fact that parking was plentiful, as we had two cars. Everything had been thought about when renting the cottage as a holiday let. The rooms are spacious and clean. Pleased that there was tea, coffee and milk supplied when we arrived. Kitchen well stocked if you wanted to cook. Lovely quiet location, yet minutes to the beach. Tesco is a ten minute drive away.

Comfortable but not luxurious cottage in great location. Suited a 3 person mixed age range family and perfect for taking a dog . Very good information provided by owner , though curiously it did not include the excellent Seaview Hotel restaurant .

Fantastic house plenty of room to spread out in, ideal if you have older people as ground floor bedroom and wet room ideal.

Lovely stay at Alcantara - spacious and well-equipped, lovely location a short walk from the beach. The pub was great too, lovely food. Will likely be coming back!

We stayed at Alcantara from the 21.09.18-28.09.18 The Cottage was amazing, very clean, spacious, everything we could have wished for & more. My mothers disabled so was excellent having a downstairs onsuite bedroom & wetroom. We go on many holidays & can honestly say this is the best Cottage we have rented. We have already booked again for next year. Also the staff at classic cottages were amazing, very helpful & efficient. Thank you so much The Andrews family

We had a very enjoyable time in Alcantara in a spacious and well equipped house located in a very quiet area and which is 3 minutes to the sea front. Ideal for walking our beagle and watching the many ships passing up the Solent. We didn’t want to leave!

Very comfortable,spacious,clean cottage in a very good location. Would definitely stay here again.
