Reviews

This welcoming retreat is close to the pretty village of Seaview and the sandy beach at Ryde, and has the Isle of Wight Gin Distillery within walking distance. Thoughtfully presented, this quirky home-from-home is ideal for families to base themselves whilst exploring all the delights that the island has to offer.

Once inside you will find a delightful open plan living space welcoming you in. The bespoke kitchen is perfect for sociable evenings where everyone can gather round whilst the chef in the group cooks up a storm.

The living area is comfy, start the day here enjoying a moment of calm before the day's adventures start or cosy up in the evening with a book as the day comes to a close. The children in the group can retreat to the mezzanine snug - a brilliant space for a card game or puzzle.

Both bedrooms lead from the living area - the first has a sumptuous king-size bed and single bed, the en suite bathroom has a dreamy bathtub which is great for a soak at the end of the day. The second bedroom with bunks finishes off the sleeping areas.

There is also a shower-room ideal for a refreshing shower after a busy beach day.

Outside you will find yourself in a quiet setting with beautiful views; there is plenty of space for some outdoor games and a picnic. For more formal al fresco dining grab a chair and enjoy the vista.

The friendly owners live on site and are on hand if you any any queries but will leave to you to enjoy your holiday in peace in this lovely part of the world.

Mrs MCConnell

If I could score this accommodation more than 5 stars I would. From the moment we entered to the lovely smell of fresh lilies left by the owner along with other little welcomes it was perfect. Absolutely spotless and comfortable, great location for dog walks and exploring the Island. Would definitely recommend this holiday.

Mrs Hawkins

Beautiful retreat for couple and very young children.

Mr Robertson

Overall a lovely cottage, comfy beds, powerful shower and good location. It is smaller than the photos make it appear, bedroom two is just big enough to get the bed in(but ok for our kids), you can’t stand in the mezzanine floor (again fine for children to watch tv) and there is a lack of natural light, it is not bright and light. But we had a lovely week.
